
The Broncos benefited from their weekend off by getting a jumpstart on their preparation from the comfort of their own homes.
After a week of practice and no game, watching other teams play added to the players’ excitement to get back on the field.
“It was a combination of relaxing, but some anxiousness,” wideout Eric Decker said. “You want to be out there playing, especially playoff football. This is the best time of the year. This is what you wait for and this is what you play for. It was fun to be able to rest physically and mentally and enjoy some football, but now focus on our opponent.”
