Kenny Peterson’s time away from the Broncos lasted barely 16 hours.

The Broncos re-signed him on Sunday morning amidst a quartet of roster moves that were announced about 15 minutes before the first training-camp practice. Denver also signed linebacker Wesly Mallard, placed absent defensive end Carlos Hall on the reserve/did not report list and waived linebacker Eddie Moore, although the team announced that Moore will revert to the Broncos’ injured reserve list if he clears waivers. That, however, would end his 2007 season before it began.
