With the Dolphins presumably choosing to wear their white jerseys at home since it’s typically hot in South Florida, the Broncos are wearing their traditional home blue jerseys and white pants for today’s game.
In addition, some Broncos are wearing pink cleats, gloves or towels in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Both teams are on the field running through position group drills as warmups are close to winding down. We’re less than 30 minutes from kickoff, so the national anthem — sung by actress Melora Hardin, better known as Jan Levenson from “The Office” — and official team intros are just around the corner.

Prior to today’s game against the Dolphins, Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow spent some time with his former head coach at the University of Florida, Urban Meyer. The pair met on the field at the beginning of warmups and spent several minutes chatting before Tebow began his pregame routine.
Tebow won two national titles at Florida under Meyer’s coaching. The Dolphins are honoring the 2008 national championship team at halftime of today’s game.

PREGAME: Starting this week, we’re going to handle blogs during gameday a little differently. First and foremost, we wanted to keep this live blog going to essentially serve as a chat room for you guys, since we know how much you like interacting in the streaming comments section.
But this live blog in particular will serve as a bed for your comments along with a list of links to all the corresponding blogs we’ll write throughout the game. Rather than one long live blog per half, which we thought could be tedious to read through, we’ll have many more smaller blogs throughout the game. We’ll recap scoring drives, give injury updates and note key plays and other events throughout the contest.
Let us know what you think of the new system. We hope you like it.
INACTIVES: Without further ado, here is the link to the first blog of the afternoon: Inactives vs. Miami.
GATOR REUNION: Tim Tebow and his former Florida head coach Urban Meyer chatted for a while on the field before the game.
HOME JERSEYS: The Dolphins wear white at home to battle the South Florida heat, so the Broncos are wearing their home blue jerseys.

Quarterback Brady Quinn, safety Rafael Bush, fullback Quinn Johnson, guard Manny Ramirez, tackle Tony Hills, tight end Julius Thomas and defensive end Derrick Harvey will not dress.
For the Dolphins, safety Reshad Jones, running back Steve Slaton, linebacker Ikaika Alama-Francis, guard/center Ryan Cook, tight end Will Yeatman and defensive end Phillip Merling are inactive.

Below are some photos from Friday’s practice session.

Five years ago, when Matt Moore entered the league with the Carolina Panthers, then-Head Coach John Fox gave him his first chance to start in the NFL.
On Sunday, Fox is turning his offense over to second-year quarterback Tim Tebow, who will be making just his fourth career start for the Broncos.
Does the excitement and buildup for Tebow’s 2011 season debut resemble the attention Moore received when he took over?
“I’m going to say probably not,” Moore said with a laugh.
In a conference call with the Denver media, Moore spoke about his relationship with Fox as the Dolphins quarterback gets set to face his old head coach in a Week 7 matchup with the Broncos.
When the Denver Broncos take the field in Miami on Sunday, they will play with five active receivers who each have no more than four years of NFL experience.
The Broncos traded their most senior receiver, Brandon Lloyd, Monday, but Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway spoke about his excitement for the young group of receivers to take the main stage on DenverBroncos.com’s live audio show ‘Elway Live‘ Tuesday.
“We felt it was an opportunity for us to get another draft pick and build, and also with the young guys we have at wide receiver, that they’ll be able to pick up the slack and continue to grow,” Elway said.

When Tim Tebow makes his first start of the season this Sunday, he will have plenty of supporters in the stands, despite the fact that the game will be played outside the Mile High City.
The Miami Dolphins have planned a “Gator Day” celebration for Sunday’s game, during which they will honor the Florida Gators 2008 National Championship team. Of the four former Gators that will take the field on Sunday, three of them play for the Broncos in Tebow, Marcus Thomas and Derrick Harvey. The host Dolphins feature just one in center Mike Pouncey.

Fresh off the bye week, ‘Elway Live’ will be back at its regular 2 p.m. MDT timeslot tomorrow — Tuesday — on DenverBroncos.com. The live, online-streamed audio broadcast show features Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway and is hosted by Broncos TV’s Chris Hall. It is 30 minutes long and features fan-submitted questions for Elway.
Questions are currently being taken via Twitter and will continue to be taken during the show. To submit your questions, tweet using the hashtag #ElwayLive.
