15:00: The Broncos get the ball to start the second half, and Chad Jackson is back deep to receive. He fields it at about the five-yard line and makes it out to the 27-yard line, where the offense lines up for its first drive of the second half.

First-and-10 and Jay Culter is in the shotgun. He looks downfield before finding his checkdown, Tatum Bell, for a quick pass over the middle and a first down.

The team walks right back up to the line and Cutler gets it out quickly to Eddie Royal for a three-yard pickup on first down.

13:50: Cutler is in the shotgun again, takes the snap and drops back before stepping forward in the pocket and firing a pass to Tony Scheffler, who grabs a first down in Chargers territory.

Cutler takes another snap in the shotgun and finds Eddie Royal, who picks up six yards.

15:00: The Broncos received the ball to start the game, so Matt Prater is out to kick off to begin the second half. Fred Jackson takes the squib kick 17 yards out to the Buffalo 44-yard line, where the Bills offense takes over.

14:44: Marshawn Lynch takes the first-down carry for four yards. On second down, Buffalo is called for a false start. That makes it second-and-11. Trent Edwards takes the snap in the shotgun formation, finding tight end Robert Royal for an eight-yard pickup before he is forced out of bounds by D.J. Williams.

On third-and-3, Edwards is in the shotgun again. He takes the snap and finds Fred Jackson — he barely gets the first down before beind forced backwards by Dre’ Bly.

12:44: Lynch takes the carry on first down again, picking up another five yards. On second down, Edwards quickly gets the ball out to Josh Reed, who is pushed out of bounds by Champ Bailey just past the first-down marker.

11:30: First-and-10 for the Bills, and Edwards is once again in the shotgun, flanked by two running backs. He gives it to the one on the left, Fred Jackson, and he picks up three yards.

On second down, Edwards tries to find Roscoe Parish in the red zone, but it’s off his fingertips and almost intercepted by Josh Barrett.

15:00: Eddie Royal is back deep for the Broncos. Sebasian Janikowski’s kickoff is a short one, awkwardly bouncing along the ground before Tatum Bell picks it up and returns it eight yards to the Denver 15-yard line.

14:50: Jay Cutler tries a deep ball to Royal on first down, but it’s past him, over his head. On second-and-10, Cutler hands it off to Bell, who is stopped after a yard.

It’s now third-and-9, and Cutler is in the shotgun. He drops back, bounces around the pocket and then takes off, avoiding tacklers and breaking an attempted shoestring tackle — he picks up 11 yards before being dropped at the 27-yard line.

First-and-10 for the Broncos and Cutler fakes a handoff before rolling right. He throws across his body to the left side of the field, lofting it over a jumping linebacker and into the waiting arms of Tony Scheffler, who was being brought down by safety Hiram Eugene. It’s another first down.

15:00: The Dolphins won the coin toss to start the game and chose to defer to the second half. So Miami will get the ball to start the second half.

Ted Ginn, Jr. takes the kickoff and sprints forward for 41 yards. The Dolphins begin their drive on their own 41-yard line.

14:51: The first-down pass from Chad Pennington is intended for Greg Camarillo, but it’s just out of his reach and it’s almost intercepted by Dre’ Bly.

14:37: Nate Webster makes a tackle on Ronnie Brown on second down, and the Dolphins face third-and-6. Pennington is in the shotgun and tries to find Anthony Fasano in the middle of the field. Jamie Winborn is there to break up the pass, and Brandon Fields is out to punt for Miami.

Eddie Royal is back for the return, but he waves everyone off as the punt goes out of bounds. The referee signals that the punt went out of bounds at the two-yard line, and Denver will begin its first drive of the second half pinned back near its own endzone.

13:51: Jay Cutler fakes a handoff to Michael Pittman and rolls out to his right on a misdirection play and finds Peyton Hillis — the exact same play the Broncos ran earlier in the game. Hillis turns the corner again and leaps entirely over a defender before being pushed out of bounds after 11 yards.

Eddie Royal was injured on the play — it looked like he might have been poked in the eye — and he’s walking off the field under his own power.
