Hello from Paul Brown Stadium on the banks of the Ohio River, near the beautiful state of Kentucky (sorry had to give some props to my home for many years). We will keep you updated throughout the day on the latest as the Broncos kick off the 2009 campaign for real. You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook throughout the game.
It was interesting walking into the stadium this morning as we saw several familiar faces from this season’s “Hard Knocks” on HBO. Seems as though Chad Ochocinco’s catch-phrases are a hit amongst t-shirt makers. Dozens of “Kiss the Baby” and “Child Please” shirts were seen across the city as the buses pulled in.

Greetings from INVESCO Field at Mile High, where the Broncos conclude their preseason slate tonight against the defending NFC champion Arizona Cardinals. Both club’s couldn’t ask for better weather for their final tune-up before the 2009 regular season. Temperatures have been ideal all day and have stayed within the mid-80s the past few hours. As an added bonus, clouds are few and far between.
With NFL teams required to trim their rosters to 53 this weekend, tonight’s game will be the final audition for players trying to secure roster spots. Click below for weather and traffic reports.

Greetings from INVESCO Field at Mile High and Broncos’ 2009 home opener. A steady rain began falling at about 3:57 p.m. MDT, sending members of both the Bears and Broncos inside the locker room tunnels. Twenty minutes later, both the sun and a slew of players returned to the field. Click below to find out the weather and traffic reports for tonight’s game.

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest and the second preseason game of 2009. Nice day in Seattle, with a bit of a breeze starting to pick up. Below is the game day weather for here in Seattle.
Broncos – Seahawks Weather report
Several Broncos have taken the field as have a large number of Seahawks. We will be back shortly with some pregame photos.
5:48 p.m. PDT: An exhibition football game is starting at the 40-yard line as the Broncos and Seahawks warmup behind them. I can’t tell for sure, but it looks to be a women’s league. Several Seahawks are now giving their full attention to the game.

Here we are at the top of Candlestick Park, sitting in the press box. The first preseason game of the Broncos’ 2009 campaign kicks off in two hours, and you can already sense the anticipation.
Plenty of Broncos are already out on the field warming up, many of whom have on their uniform pants. Ben Hamilton, Joshua Bell, Nate Swift and Lonie Paxton are just a few of the players tossing the ball around, jogging and stretching.
There aren’t any fans in the stadium quite yet, but there could be quite a crowd — as it’s a beautiful day for football. In fact, here’s a weather report for the game:
