Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin has scored his second touchdown of the game on another long catch-and-run.

On second-and-10 from the Broncos 48-yard line, Ponder found Harvin on a crossing route over the middle and the receiver did the rest. He shook a few tackles, ran down the left sideline and cut back to score. Harvin has seven receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns.

Minnesota now leads 29-21 with 9:41 left in the fourth quarter.

Harvin Gives Vikings Breathing Room

December 4th, 2011 - 1:19pm by Kenny LeganOther posts by

Wide receiver Percy Harvin used his speed to give Minnesota back the eight-point lead it held at halftime.

On third-and-10 from his own 48-yard line, quarterback Christian Ponder threw a short pass to Harvin crossing over the middle. Safety Brian Dawkins slipped while covering him, and Harvin turned upfield and sped away from the Broncos defense, racing into the end zone untouched.

However, on the ensuing kick return, Quan Cosby took it out of the end zone and returned it down the left sideline all the way to the Vikings 41-yard line, where the Broncos will take over.
