Before you can get to where you want to go, you have to know where you are.

The Broncos are painfully aware of the latter.

“Let’s not lose touch with reality,” head coach John Fox said this week. “This is a 4-12 football team under a new staff. We’re four games into it. We’re 1-3, that’s the reality. That’s where we are.”

Broncos vs. Packers Series History

This Sunday, the Broncos will travel to Green Bay for just the sixth time in franchise history. It will be the club’s fourth appearance at Lambeau Field – the team played two road games against Green Bay at Milwaukee County Stadium (1971, ’87) before their first trip to Lambeau in 1993. Only four teams (Cleveland, New England, Houston and Jacksonville) have played fewer games at Lambeau Field.

The two teams have met 11 times in the regular season, with each club winning five times and tying once. Broncos fans will have no problem remembering the lone postseason matchup between Denver and Green Bay, in which the Broncos earned a 31-24 victory in Super Bowl XXXII.
