We all know there are no guarantees in life. But to this point, I like what the Broncos have done during the offseason.
After a season to forget, the Broncos needed a complete overhaul. The first phase of that overhaul is complete, with a new front office/coaching structure in place. Now, the Broncos can focus on the second phase, which is deciding what to do with the roster.
Finally, the third phase of the overhaul relates to performance on the field. Due to the labor uncertainty facing the NFL, we can only hope that process will begin on time when preseason games are scheduled to start in August.
While I can’t say for certain how things will work out for the Broncos, I can say I like the moves they made in the front office and coaching situations. I think they have put in a solid foundation that will, hopefully, maximize the chances for long-term success on the field.
