Broncos Blog Scoring Contest: Week 8Alright, the Broncos are back from their bye week and preparing for Sunday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
Make sure you get your official predictions in for the Week 8 tilt any time between now and kickoff Sunday at 6:20 p.m. MDT.
Keep in mind only predictions submitted via the link above will be accepted.

Broncos Blog Scoring Contest: Bye WeekCongratulations to strandoftds82 and Dbroncos82, as both predicted a score of 34-24 — just one point off from the actual score of the Broncos-Chargers Monday Night Football contest, 35-24.
In second place were DenverCB and still1972, as both were a total of four points off from the actual score with predictions of 34-21 and 34-27, respectively.
Rounding out third place were three bloggers — footballMANIAC, BroncoBoogie and OrangeTsunami with guesses of 34-20, 31-23 and 34-20, respectively. All three were five points off from the actual final score.
There’s no game this week, but you can go ahead and get your predictions in for the Week 8 tilt against the New Orleans Saints any time between now and kickoff on October 28.

Broncos Blog Scoring Contest: Week 6Make sure to get your predictions in for the Broncos’ second Monday Night Football matchup of the season, this time in San Diego against the Chargers.
Last week, the Broncos fell to the New England Patriots 31-21. Here are the results of the predictions:

Quick refresher — the Broncos defeated the Raiders 37-6.
With a prediction of 38-7, Nick came in first place. Strandoftds82 comes in second with his prediction of 38-9, and tlcat06 rounds it out at third with his guess of 35-10.

Broncos Blog Scoring Contest: Week 4Just a reminder, make sure you submit your predictions for each game through the official contest, or else they won’t be counted.
The link to the contest remains the same every week, so if you don’t have the link favorited, you can find the previous week’s blog if you want to get in your prediction before we post the updated standings.
Predictions are accepted from Tuesday at noon leading up to the game all the way up to kickoff.
I will look to get these updates posted earlier in the week from here on.
Without further ado, here is an update from last week:
The Dane got first-place points with a prediction of 24-21 in favor of the Texans. Baylinorcrush comes in second with a 24-20 prediction, and Alaskanbronco06 got third with his prediction of 24-17.
Also, my apologies, upon further review, three additional bloggers should’ve received third-place points from Week 1 — 7bronco1fan9, Zenmastert and legionOfVonDoom. That has been reflected in the standings.

As many of you know, we’ve designed the Official Broncos Blog Scoring Contest for the 2012 season.
I regret not mentioning a key contributor last week in the development of the contest — baylinorcrush. He got the contest up and running in the first place, and was the reason it has lasted so long and become so popular.
We wanted to help make it easier to keep track of this season. So thanks to baylinorcrush as well as killerkod for helping throughout the process.
Without further ado, let’s get to the results from Week 1.
After Week 1, there were five predictions that were virtually right on the money. To recap, the Broncos beat the Steelers 31-19.
Caramelloo, Jake, Jamie A007, Orange Crush and Keith Kahler all submitted predictions of 31-20, so all receive first-place points.
In second were four more predictions — this time 31-17 (two points off) — by MileHighDoom, TicoBroncoFan, TCM and Barnstormer.
In third place was a prediction of 31-16 by Bud Buecher. He guessed the Broncos’ score correctly and was only off by three for Pittsburgh.

Official Broncos Blog Scoring ContestBloggers –
With help from killerkod, we’ve developed the Official Broncos Blog Scoring Contest.
We’ve noticed that you predict the score to each game in the comments section, so thanks to killerkod’s suggestion, we decided to provide an easy way to submit those predictions.
Here are the only rules: your submission for the upcoming game will only be accepted starting Tuesday at noon leading up to the game. The cutoff time, obviously, is kickoff. In other words, we won’t accept any submissions after kickoff of each game, and don’t start predicting for the following game until Tuesday at noon.
Without further ado, here’s the link for this week’s predictions. I know some of you already made your predictions in the comments, but go ahead and add them in here as well — we’re contemplating weekly prizes for first, second and third place, and will almost certainly provide prizes for first, second and third place at the end of the season. So you want to be in the official tally.
The top three bloggers closest to the score each week (by total difference in score) get points. First place = 7 points, second place = 5 points, third place = 3 points. Blogger must pick the winning team to get points.
