With the game on the line, Chargers kicker Nick Novak missed a 53-yard field goal attempt wide right with 2:36 left in overtime.

The miss gave the Broncos the ball at their own 43-yard line. On second-and-10, Tebow kept the ball on an option and ran 12 yards to the Chargers 45-yard line.

Two plays later, running back Willis McGahee found a seam up the middle, broke a few tackles, and ran 24 yards to the Chargers 17-yard line with 1:30 left.
