It takes a man to grow a mustache, and the Broncos are looking for a lot of them to help spread the word about Movember and raise awareness for men’s health issues.

For the next 30 days, several Broncos players will commit to growing a mustache to promote a discussion about men’s health. The facts are scary: one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime (the incidence rates are nearly double for African American men). Testicular cancer is also the most common cancer in American males between the ages of 15 and 35. However, both of these diseases are highly curable with early detection. This means guys need to shelve the tough guy image and talk about the importance of getting checked.

It’s simple, Movember aims to forever change the face of men’s health through the power of the mustache by raising awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.
