The Denver Broncos activated running back Jeremiah Johnson to the 53-man roster Saturday.

To make room for him, Denver placed defensive tackle Ty Warren on injured reserve.

Johnson, a second-year player out of Oregon, spent all of training camp with the Broncos before the team signed him to the practice squad earlier this month. He had 16 carries in the preseason for 64 yards and one touchdown as well as two catches for 23 yards.
