Before the Broncos took on the Raiders at O.co Coliseum, four Hall-of-Famers and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell spoke with fans in a Hall of Fame Fan Forum. One of those Hall-of-Famers was Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway.

Joining Elway and Goodell were John Madden, Howie Long and Ronnie Lott. About 150 Raiders season-ticket holders were selected to attend the event, which was held at the Oracle Arena next to the O.co Coliseum.

The panel covered a range of topics that included player safety, memories from their playing days and what it’s like to be in the Hall of Fame.

“It is still amazing to me that I’m part of that group,” Elway said at the forum. “All of those guys in there with me were all my heroes when I was growing up. To be able to sit up here with three other members, and say you’re with these guys, it’s a great feeling.”
