Fans attending this Sunday’s Broncos game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High should be aware of scheduled road closures and detours that will be in place for the Denver Marathon and are reminded to plan for additional time entering the stadium due to enhanced security screening in place.
The Denver Marathon will affect game day traffic in the downtown area with road closures anticipated between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. All ticket holders should be aware of road closures and detours due to the Marathon course including Speer Boulevard, which will be closed at Downing Street and Logan Street. additional closures will be in place on Colfax Avenue, 6th Avenue and Alameda Avenue in the downtown area. Enhanced security measures in place will require additional time in entering stadium gates. Fans are encouraged to arrive at gates as early as possible and no later than 1:30 p.m. if possible in order to avoid any potential delays and be in their seat in time for the 2:15 p.m. kickoff.
