Since 1998, the Broncos’ community blood drive, Drive for Life, has been held on a Tuesday during the football season.

Working in conjunction with Bonfils Blood Center, Drive for Life has grown into one of Denver’s best Broncos traditions with record numbers of donors helping to bolster Colorado’s blood supply just in time for the difficult winter months.

Drive for Life has become the largest single-day blood drive in the history of Colorado and one of the largest in the nation.

This year, the 14th annual Drive For Life will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 4) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. MDT at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Attendees will have the chance to meet Denver Broncos players, alumni and cheerleaders while enjoying complimentary stadium food and entertainment.  Additionally, donors will receive commemorative T-shirts and lapel pins and will also be eligible for raffle prizes including gift certificates from local businesses and autographed Broncos memorabilia.

There are 49 players and alumni expected to attend, including the likes of Champ Bailey, Von Miller, Ryan Clady, Steve Foley, Randy Gradishar and Billy Thompson.
