After a season in which he became just the 10th player in NFL history to catch 40-or-more passes and at least five touchdowns at age 36 or older, Brandon Stokley was voted by fans as the DISH Unbeatable Value Player Of The Year.

The inaugural award, sponsored by DISH, recognizes a player that exceeds fan expectations. Whether a free agent or draft choice, a low-profile acquisition or a backup player that takes on the role of unsung hero, the award epitomizes the unbeatable value DISH is committed to providing its customers.

Stokley signed with the Broncos in April and went on to catch 45 passes for 544 yards and five scores during the 2012 season — his second stint with the team.

The 14-year veteran also caught three passes for 27 yards and touchdown in Denver’s AFC Divisional Playoff Game against Baltimore to join Keenan McCardell as the only players in league annals to record a postseason receiving score with four different teams.
