Our first dinner meeting of the 2013 /14 season is scheduled for Monday March 11th at Red and Jerry’s on the southwest corner of S. Santa Fe Drive and Oxford Avenue. The doors on the south end of their building will open at 5:30 p.m. and start the evening with a cash bar. Then at 6:30 we will have a Buffet that includes salad, entrée, sides, dessert and coffee and tea. The cost of $20.00 covers all of this and tax and tip. Call 303-948-2363 to RSVP no later than 5 p.m. Friday March 8th. If no answer, leave your name, phone # and number of persons attending. If you RSVP and can’t make it, cancel by 5.00 p.m. FEB. 8TH or you will be charged as a no show!!! NO E-MAIL PLEASE !!!
The program will begin at 7:30 when we will introduce our guest speaker, NFL draft guru Cecil Lammey, who is a sports commentator on ESPN Radio. You can listen to Cecil at FM 102.3 on radio. As this is being written, Cecil is back in Indianapolis for the NFL scouting combine picking up tidbits of information from coaches and other sportscasters, as well as his own evaluations of players.. We should enjoy this meeting and maybe even gain some new information concerning the Broncos needs from this years draft, and the free agents they want to keep and the ones they want to sign, to get us to the Super Bowl.
Since this is our first dinner meeting of the 2013/14 season this is the opportune time to renew your membership so you don’t miss this meeting or the highlight film that will be coming up before you can say Super Bowl.
