Hey Broncos Country!
Von Miller here with my first blog of the season. I’m looking forward to posting each week and giving you guys an inside look at what goes on as we get ready for the upcoming game each week.
I just got a new camera – a Canon Mark II 5D. I haven’t gotten the Mark III, but I’m going to, so I’m hoping I can share a few pictures with you guys throughout the year. Whenever I get some cool shots, you guys will be the first to see them.
Everybody is excited to open the season at home at Sports Authority Field in front of the best fans in the NFL.
We’ve got the orange jerseys back this year and as a defense, we’re hoping to bring fans back to the Orange Crush days.
I’m ready to get out there in front of the fans. We had a lot of stuff happen around Denver in the last year and we just want to bring some happiness and joy – and hopefully some wins – back to Colorado this season.
On the college side, we have A&M in the SEC this year. We have our first SEC game this weekend vs. Florida, and I’m sure we’ll turn Gators into swampbait coming up. I’m pretty excited about that too.

I still have the video in my head during preseason with Siliga being doubled. Both linemen went backwards to the ground and Sil gets the stop. Next play – Sil has 3 lineman going backwards – he picked up someone elses man – and whoever that was got the tackle. He’s a beast!

Yo Von i can wait until tomorrow night and finally get back to football! Last year our defense showed a huge improvement specially with you roaming around the secondary and playing behind the line making some huge plays, just amazing!
The way you play the game is the reason fans like us love to watch this game, take it back to the Orange crush days your the perfect person to get us there!

Get em Von, been busy the last 8 years or so in the military and only able to catch a game once in a while, but this year I’m really excited and I’m gonna be able to watch most of the games.
I think I speak for everyone when I say we love you Von!! You will be a beloved player to us fans and the community for years to come!

Thanks for the blog. I have been a lifetime Denver fan, and I am always excited this time of year for football to get underway. I do have an obscure question for you. Back in March, I remember seeing an interview with you on NFL Network right after Peyton Manning was signed. I noticed in that interview that you were wearing a 44th Fighter Squadron hat. I was assigned to that squadron from 1997 through 2001. I was wondering, do you have a connection? Thanks! Best of luck this season.

Does the orange give you guys any kind of advantage? I would think its easier for an opposing QB to differentiate between receiver and defender. Wait, ya’ll so fast the colors blur to em anyway! Keep on em Von.
