We’re getting ready to go to Atlanta to play a good team in the Falcons. We’re looking forward to taking the next step. It should be a good game and a good measuring stick for us and our team. We’re looking forward to getting on the plane and hopefully coming back with the ‘W.’
Last week’s opener was great. I’ve never seen so much orange in my life. Our fans are great. I’m looking forward to knocking this next game out then getting back in front of the fans at home against the Texans next Sunday.
Before that though, we have a tough test coming up against the Falcons. They have a great offense, a great quarterback in Matt Ryan and lots of weapons. We definitely have to be on our A game to pull it off.
Hopefully A&M gets a win this afternoon vs. SMU. We just have to keep taking it one day at a time to be that program that we know we can be.

I just got a chance to look at some scores from today, and all I can say is I bet alot of people lost alot of money this Sunday! First day in a couple years I was happy to be working and not gambling! (very soon I hope I can leave here again…)
Cat, I only found one yesterday that may be a diamond, I don’t have my own tester so sometime this week I’ll take it in to get it checked in Laramie. Very small though, nothing like the other one… I did some research, and I guess there is a huge difference between a true ‘Yellow’ Diamond, and a clear diamond with yellow discoloration. I need to get the first one graded because I know nothing more than I just read about them. A Jeweler from Laramie does a little hunting/rock picking on our Ranch so I called him over the day after I found it to have him identify/weigh it. I’m going to send DB a picture as soon as I get them downloaded.
So, who had the Cards over Pats and/or the Seahawks over the Cowboys by 20?! O, and St Louis over WSH?!? anybody get that one right in the pick’em pool? I know I’d have lost many MANY bets if I’d have been at/near a casino this week! I believe it is a sign of true addiction when that thought in and of itself makes you feel like you won! Haha
