Just wanted to check in with one last blog this year just to say thank you.
I really appreciate all the fan support and dedication. Whether it was reading the blog or cheering on this team, it’s you all that makes it fun. You guys are what make game day experiences so great. Through the thick and thin, you’re always with us, and it’s a blessing to have such great people support you.

Manning’s playoff record in his first 5 years: 0-5. Flacco playoff record in his first 5 years: 7-4. Flacco is just getting started and his playoff numbers are way better than Manning’s. His career is not even half as old as Payton’s. And after this season Payton is done. He will never overcome the heartbreak of forcing that last throw. Kinda like Favre when he played with Minnesota, he had the best team of all his years playing. After that season he was NOBODY. And once again claiming Manning’s SB victory in Indianapolis (as your own triumph) more than half a century ago is real classy from your behalf. Another thing is Baltimore football is all focused on pounding the rock. In case you haven’t noticed we barely spend money on offensive players (except ray rice). We don’t even waste 1st, 2nd or 3rd round draft picks on offense. On the other hand Manning’s teams are focused on the pass. Flacco would have had 5 SBs by now if he had WRs like Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison (two of the best WRs to ever play the game) and Dallas Clark. With all those weapons he produced one (1) SB. Payton is the greatest to ever play in the regular season. He is faaaaaar from the best when playoffs come around.

Breaking news: Denver’s Children Hospital. Pro bowl cornerback Champ Bailey was release from the hospital after suffering 3rd degree burns at the mercy of Torrey Smith. Yes you got that right: Denver’s Children Hospital. Mr. Bailey was rejected treatment at all other local hospitals.

Broncos Fans…..please accept my apology for Ravens1. He does not represent the real fan base of the Baltimore Ravens. True Ravens fans have a deep respect for quality teams, organizations and individual players and your team has all of these. Everyone knows that the Broncos were clearly the best team in the league this season. However, rarely does the best team ever win the Super Bowl. Upsets happen, and the Ravens have been on the wrong side of upsets many times in the last 10 years so we know what it feels like. You guys had a great season and have much to look forward to. Also, you have a great fan base and we wish you well in the future.
To all the Manning haters who might read this: It’s a team win, and a team loss. Decker’s tipped pass for 6 the other way. Champ and Moore over the top was 6. Prater’s missed field goal attempt was 3. None of those were Manning’s fault. All made a difference in the outcome. Manning did enough to win. See ya next year. We’ll be ready. Respect to the Ravens, they never quit, and neither did we.
Thank you for all your hard work Decker. You are a much loved and respected man throughout the fan-base. From your selfless downfield blocking when you were run-blocking most of all last season — which shows me your loyalty to the TEAM concept and a great work ethic — to your one handed, circus catch in the back of the end-zone on this years final regular season game (amazing grab). Keep up the hard work.

first of all i just want to say great year Decker your a beast keep it up, and the hole Denver broncos team needs to put that game behind there backs, it was peytons first year back from a year long injury with a new team and system to work with and all you guys did was improve every week of the season and i no that next year this team is gonna be on fire and is gonna make us broncos fans proud.GREAT YEAR

Nice to see someone humble to realize you escaped that one and good luck to you next week although I will be rooting for Brady as he is Michigan Alum…. Greg nice to see that not all Raven fans are idiots. I really felt bad for you guys last year. The pats always get the questionable calls (tuck, etc..)You guys would of beaten the Giants.

There were a ton of mistakes that cost us that game including coaching calls. Grow up, push away from the computer and get on with your life!… We don’t all care to hear your opinions over and over…

I have the same neck condition that Peyton has! I am on PAIN MANAGEMENT! That neck must have felt REALLY good in the cold this past weekend; seriously, did it hurt much? Peyton’s golden days are done and the Broncos were stupid enough to take a chance on an OLD QB in the first place! And what did you do to Tim Tebow last season? Maybe you have forgotten? He GOT you in the playoffs and farther! Just remember that!! What are the Manning family? The Kennedys of the NFL?
Yeah, I’m sorry but anyone who says Peyton is done doesn’t know football… he took our .500 team to the best record in the NFL off of one of the worst injures a player can have. Watch out next year when he’s back to 100%… crap I’d take Peyton at 75% and he’ll still take us to the bowl and win. He might only have a few years before he CHOOSES to retire. At that point we could have at least two super bowl wins under our belt. Can’t wait until next year! GO BRONCOS!!!

Thank you for a great year Mr Decker. I have to say that I had the opportunity to meet you this year and I have told anyone who will listen. You are a class act. I watched as you talked with each person making them feel like they were the only person in the room. Thank you for that kindness.

I have always been a Peyton Manning fan but my first love has always been the Denver Broncos so you can imagine my excitement when my favorite team signed Peyton Manning! I enjoyed watching the Broncos this year, in fact it was one of my favorite years of football ever. ( including the 97-98 season ) I do believe that 2013 will be a better year, my only complaint is even when we were winning all those games in a row I am not sure that Peyton believed they were that good by some of his comments he had made when asking that question? I am a beloved Broncos fan but lets see some confidence next year I know what I saw each and every week and I know we were a knock down pass away from playing this week but I hope we have more confidence next year to make through the times that are tough like a tough playoff game. Great season guys, hope your motivated to win a superbowl next year… I know you guys can!!!
Next year no kneeldowns, no excuses, play hard, fast and to win for a full 60 minutes. I’ve been a season ticket holder for 38 years and I and all fans deserve that much. Super Bowl or bust!!!!
