Well, it’s rematch week for the first time this season. San Diego heads to our place this time around. I think as far as the game goes, we’ve both seen schematically kind of what we do, but there are always adjustments that need to be made. A division game is always a game that’s important. I think our focus is one game at a time. This is our focus. This is our one game that we’ve got to go out and win.
Looking back at the last time we played San Diego, we got beat 24-0 in the first half and scored 35 in the second half to win. Going into this week, I’m thinking more about the second half, for sure. I think just what we did right and how we made plays when they were there and how we were consistent with our jobs individually to collectively be successful.
At the same time, I think it’s important that you learn from history so you don’t repeat it. That’s kind of a slogan where the mistakes you make, you’ve got to call yourself out. If you made a mistake, admit to do it and don’t do it again. Every game you’re going to have mistakes. You’ve just got to find a way to not repeat that mistake.
This week is important because San Diego, they’ve had our number at home. We haven’t for a long time swept them in division play. This is definitely an important game. Division games always place you at a point where you’re able to make the playoffs or not. It’s about winning your division.
We’re definitely looking for all the support we can get at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. I think every week when we come back home off a road trip, it’s nice to have that support. That noise and comfort level of being in front of your hometown fans is definitely welcome.
Catch you next week.

i am a a bit worried about this game. In the past when we beat SD they have killed us in the rematch. The last time we beat them at home was the Ed Huckalee game. The last time we swept them was 2005. This is a huge game. Division game plus a win pretty much locks up the division. Must win for SD. I can’t pick against us so Denver 29- SD 23.
Hi guys. Hope everyone is enjoying the season as much as I am.
Just wanted to speak this time, while I was catching up. Sure didn’t want SOME of you to think that just because SOME of us who still read everyday, but don’t have time to “shoot the breeze” regularly anymore, due to OTHER obligations, were only Tebow fans who pretended to be Broncos fans.
Go Broncos!

Somewhat random question but can someone help remind me were Adam Weber went when the Broncos cut him. I work in London for an american company based out of Minnesota and went to see him play when he was a QB with the gophers at Uni… Just want to check how his career is developing with new team..
TB Bucs
Weber is on Tampa Bays practice squad.
london: he is currently on Tampa Bay’s practice squad.
I was going to answer London’s question but since I have only typed on this thingy once or twice and soo long ago by the time I found my username and reset my password I was beat to the punch. Man if that isn’t a run on sentence I don’t know what is. Like many others I read what is said on these blogs just never respond. The topic of Morton was brought up last night I can’t remember much of him although I do vividly remember calling Elway “wrong way Elway” for the first handful of seasons.
RH709, DBFan, Hadr, LyMster thanks to all of you…
Its all good sandoval … when u get back out there its hard to spot the forsaken ones lol (Raider fans that is). But glad to hear. Stay up bro.
Looking forward to the game. For what its worth i think JDR stays … especially if the accomplish the ultimate goal with one another. Something that eluded them in Carolina and when they seperated, they both pretty much crashed and burned. Much like Nolan, I think JDR at some point has probably realized DC is what he does best and succeeds at and is gonna stay put. Nolan has taken the Falcons to great hieghts like he did with us and the dolphins. JDR is capable of that as well. Nothing bad about being a highly paid DC but like was said money and title can move any man. I just doubt anyone is eager for JDR after they have seen what he can do as a HC. Much like Rivera in Carolina after he inevitably gets fired and becomes a DC once more. As far as McCoy … Never been a fan, whether he stays or goes doesn’t bother me. We definitely can improve in that department … but when u have Peyton Manning … OCs are usually nothing more than figure heads.
Later days, TRB

Glad we lost DA,JDR is a Helluva lot better DC,and DA and the Faders are still sucking!HA!
I used to comment some in the past. I still read the blogs and follow every move of the Broncos. It is so great to see the huge improvement in the team this year. I was able to buy season tickets on the club level and attended several of our games last year and so far have made the four regular season home games this year and will be there for at least the next two. When you are old like me you might as well spend your kids inheritance on the joy of following the Broncos. I’m looking forward to seeing our team go all the way. Go Broncos!
Well I too read a lot of the postings but being in the Army sometimes keeps me away from even doing that.
Just wanted to run a prediction past my orange peeps; DEN v NE- AFC Championship and Rematch ATL v DEN for SB. I know there are things that need to be fixed on the team but right now we are playing lights out football and thats with needing some improvements. Imagine the team when everything 100% goes right!!! Scary thought for the rest of the league. let me know what you think of my predictions. why or why not?
I just watched the photos of todays practice… Had to chuckle at Holliday… He looks like a little kid out there, standing by the linemen…
