Ready for a Monday Night Showdown

October 13th, 2012 - 3:43pm by Von Miller

This is a huge game, especially coming off a loss last week. You definitely want to win all your division games. It’s tough, but we definitely want to get ourselves in a tie for first place with a win in our division to give us a better chance to go to the playoffs.

All weeks are important, but this week is definitely important because we don’t want to go to the bye week with a bad taste in our mouth.

It’s always a challenge going against the Chargers. We won one last year and they won one. I’m sure we’re going to go in there and they’re going to try their best to beat us.

Being a divisional opponent, we’re pretty familiar with them and in turn, they’re pretty familiar with us. It’ll be a good game. We’ve had another good week of preparation and hopefully we can get it done on Monday.

I love playing on Monday Night. It’s the only game on. I used to watch Monday Night Football when I was a kid, so playing on it is a dream come true.

Gig em!

Should be a good one. Not having potter will hurt but im sure Chris Harris is more than ready for the challenge. Besides none of their receivers strike fear in the hearts of men. Royal included.

We are gonna have to watch it on special teams tho. Prime time and Royal often end in returns for TD.

Tough year so far but like I said all last year, no matter who the QB is, the receivers have to catch the ball … and this year, hang on to it it would seem.

Down by 4 points in fantasy because I benched RG3 and Bradshaw. One player left … Decker, Im sure he can pull through for me.

Enjoy the game folks. Go Broncos!

    Later days, TRB out…

Chris Harris gets a pick 6 and Broncos Win 31 to 24

For some reason I feel like Denver will dominate this game. Mostly cause our pass rush. SD will try to run and throw to the flats but I see Denver covering those well and keeping them to short yardage.

My prdeiction is 27-9 Denver victory.

I see 2 fumble from Ryan Matthews … one that we receover.
    1 int
    4 sacks

Thats my defensive highlight prediction lol

I predict that it is very difficult to predict whether it will be the ‘three interceptions in the first Q’ team….or that other team that resolves all questions in the Broncos favor before the end of the first half. LOL I wish I knew!!!

  7. RH709 says:

Manning only has three interceptions on the year and they were all in that quarter. Other than that he has been stellar.

It’s not so much the offense I’m worried about tonight. Porter is out, Brookings is starting at MLB (not sure how I feel about it), and it seems like we can never cover Gates. I predicted us to lose by 3 points but I see that Kaeding is doubtful. I think we can pull off a victory but seems like Qualcomm is always a tough venue.

    Howdy Gang!

I think our D comes out with a vengance to erase the horrible effort last week. They will shut the Dolts down and turn the third down conversion percentage in their favor. Rivers will throw some bad balls and we will take advantage. I’m calling for 3 picks in this game, including a pick-6.

And our O will not turn the ball over and dominate the TOP.

This will be a statement game for our Broncos. And we’ll show the league that we’re a force to rekon with in the AFC.

    GO BRONCOS!

I feel that our defense is inconsistent and we are not getting it done ….. i dont know if its Del Rio’s fault, or if its just a mix of non-superior talent in the secondary(besides bailey obviously)…but theres something wrong that needs to be fixed and i think itll happen on the bye week. I dont feel tonights game will be mush different..its gonna be close as hell, but i feel we can squeak out a win if our offense hangs on to the ball and doesnt commit turnovers. I think our D can get a fumble or a pick in the game, and if we win the turnover battle then we win the game…but i think it still comes down to who has the ball last in the 4th quarter…it seems that manning is primed for the fourthquarter so lets hope we have the ball with 2 mins left.

    GO BRONCOS!!!!

Well BS, our MLB play couldnt possibly get worse plus Brooking is probably the best man for the job. Like they would say, most cerebral position on D and he has the most experience. Kinda how ray lewis has physically slowed down … but not mentally. Like DJ, but he really screwed us this year.

    Lets go Bronco Country!!!

Big game tonight as if nobody knows that. lol

Dume, Dume, Dume we need you to come out of hybernation…tonight!!!!

I hope we have not been feeding the Wolfe this week. lol

We can always count on Von to gig-em!

My big prediction of the night DT is going to the house a couple of times with 200 receiving yards!!!

  13. RH709 says:

I really am the minority that thinks we will destroy the Chargers like we did the Raiders. huh!

  14. RH709 says:

BTW Doom is not in hybernation, he is fifth in the league in QB pressures per pass rush. That means he has been very effective, he just hasn’t gotten a ton of sacks yet.

  15. MarshMelo15 says:

Trey Wingo just said, in reference to the poor play of the Faiders and the Chumps, that the AFC WEST is “a two horse race for the division.” ….. Considering that the BRONCOS are the only team that are actually a horse, I’d have to say ADVANTAGE BRONCOS!!!!

I am so pumped for tonight! I should be getting off of work just before half time!

LETS GO BRONCOS!!! Ground them bolts!!!

  16. RH709 says:

I got some hot wings marinating as we speak. just have to toss em on the grill :)

  17. ScalptheChiefs says:

That seems to be the best half to watch Melo, so you should be good! I think the AFC West will have a firm BOLD BRONCO STAMP on it after tonight! The Chargers will be as shocked as the Raiders were when Peyton starts picking them apart and assuming we actually secure the ball this week I can see a 2 td win at least. Something along the lines of…

    Broncos 34

    Chargers 9

  18. MarshMelo15 says:

    My Prediction

    Broncos 27
    Chargers 16

  19. tlcat06 says:

    Hey… Hope everyone is pumped!

  20. tlcat06 says:

    I think I said 35-21

  21. Yesse says:

    Love me them Broncos!!!
