When you’re winning, everything is great. We definitely want to keep on winning and keep on playing the type of football we have been playing. I guess we’ll see at the end of everything how far we can go.
This win streak has been great. Nobody wants to lose. We definitely want to keep the streak going and I know if we keep playing the type of football I know we can play, we’ll be alright.
I want to congratulate Aldon Smith on winning the NFC Defensive Player of the Month Award for November. We were both drafted last year and we’re good friends, so it’s great to get that type of award at the same time as him. I’m sure he’ll text me. If he doesn’t text me, I’ll text him. That’s one of my good friends.
Now our focus is on Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers are a very good team. Not just running the ball, not just passing the ball, not just run defense, not just pass defense – they are good all around. They’re probably the best team we’ve played in a while – since the Patriots. We are definitely going to have to be on point and keep taking it one day at a time if we want to keep our streak going.
We know that clinching the AFC West is a possibility this weekend, but all of our focus is on the Bucs. We’re just taking it one day at a time. We have a lot of great character guys in this locker room. From Tracy Porter to Elvis Dumervil, Wesley Woodyard, Keith Brooking, Champ Bailey and all the other veteran guys we have. I think with the kind of high character guys we have, we’ll be alright.

KEEP THE WINNING STREAK ALIVE!!
PUM PUM PUM!!!
VOM MANNING FOOTBALL 2012!!! I really do love it!!!
I’m glad to hear Von recongnize that their competition the last month and a half has been lacking! I think that means they are being very well coached and staying grounded… They should be up for the challenge!!!
B-R-O-N-C-O-S BRONCOS BRONCOS BRONCOS!!!
So I watched the NFL Playbook video on this game. It was odd. The playbook guys picked a play from the KC game where KC lined up with a single back, two TE, Balanced ‘I’ formation. They then showed how the Denver defense was lined up with 5 DBs. Denver was in fact in a 3-3-5 with Miller standing lined up accross a TE at the line. The odd part is that Playbook crew claimed the offensive formation dictated Nickle defense and then KC ran to the offensive right away from Miller. Truth is, this formation with two TE in an almost obvious run formation does not dictate nickle, it dictates using another linebacker or lineman. Not using an extra DB.
They said that Denver cant let TB dictate Nickle and then run against it. I disagree. It looked like Denver didnt let KC dictate thier personnel grouping at all. In fact, Denver perposely used nickle. I think this is a test by JDR. He wants to teach the nickle package to learn to stop the run. I bet this happens again verse TB. I think JDR is trying to see if the nickle package can step up against the run that way, the offense formation is almost irrevelant cause the defense can get it done even with smaller personnel.
Gig em!!!
Ok. The last two days have been super dad. I’m a Chiefs fan tomorrow. Just FYI.
*sad
Von, I love and trust you guys. Keep it up!
RH709- I AGREE 100%!
My Prediction: BRONCOS WIN!!
Well, I just have two things to say…..ROLL TIDE and GO BRONCOS!
I’ll say this, the #1 team I want to see lose every week is Notre Dame. GO ALABAMA!!
I dream come true would be if we were able to get Star Letulelei and add him with Wolfe, Dumervil and Miller
*A dream
Nasty I would love to get Star. I just dont see it happening. The lowest I have seen him rated is 10. A lot of teams need help at DT. Only way we can get him IMO is trading up for him.
well i hope we get another pass rusher. we can never have too many of those
Regarding the tragedy in KC today-
We can certainly empathize with what the organization, fan base and most importantly the families are going through. My prayers are with them all.
Broncos Country Strong 2012!!!!!!!!
Keep the streak going for sure Von! Going to be a great game. A lot on the line for both teams. Home field advantage will be huge… Where’s turtle when you need a BRONCOS chant? Lol
I’m betting Broncos on money line, not a great bet I just love the Broncos;check out TB they haven’t been blown out by anybody.I’m looking for PM to throw all over the place.Hold onto the ball KM(he looked great last week). You guys see the FB they picked up? Go Broncos!!!
Strand, I disagree wih you for the first time ever… GO FIGHTING IRISH!!!
Oh, and my Pokes beat the Buffs and I just have to be a little excited about it! LOL
GO BRONCOS!
Turtle, I forgot to wish you a belated Happy Birthday. Hope you had a great one!
ALRIGHT!!! Deirdorff is calling the game tommorow.. WOO.. I can’t wait……………………………………has been said by nobody ever.

This was actually a pretty interesting read. Has 7 different things talked about and then teams are sorted into Pretenders Contenders and on the edge. At the end the author gives points for each of the three choices 3 for contenders 2 on the edge and 1 for pretenders.
I know its just a fan article but still interesting and with the teams with most points being Denver and the Giants.
Turtle and Gray happy belated birthday to you both.
Thats a all right Ticat06. We can disagree on some things. We’re still Bronco family. LOL
I’m with cat. Go Irish!!!
I’m just talking like a USC Trojans fan is all. HaHa!!
I have two favorite college teams. The Irish and whoever is playing USC.
I’ll say this. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the Broncos went and drafted Notre Dame’s TE Tyler Eifert. He’s a great TE.
Hand of Doom, so is Lynch. At least there’s that. I am actually looking forward to what John Lynch has to say about our team.
I believe John Lynch also interviewed Peyton and we’ll see it sometime today.
Great game last night! Congrats to ‘Bama. I mentioned the other day, how college football is not very big in the NYC area, compared to the rest of the country, given how there really aren’t any big football programs nearby. Rutgers is in NJ, and has the potential, but it’s a relatively new program, with no history. With that said, there is a rather large Notre Dame fan base around here, and I think it’s safe to say that this National Championship Game will set records in terms of TV ratings.
In terms of the Broncos game this afternoon, my number one hope is that we all stay healthy. In reality, this is far from a must win game by any stretch of the imagination, and while I hope we win, I certainly won’t be concerned if a hungry TB team steals a win. I hope to see more of a commitment to the run game, ball security, and I’m also curious to see if Malik Jackson gets some reps if Ayers is a no-go.
For the record, Rutgers football does have history, I meant success on the National level, which only really began under Schiano. Moving to the Big Ten might help to change that as well, not that anyone in Broncos Country cares about Rutgers football… LOL!
So quiet on a GAMEDAY!!! PUM PUM PUM TIME TO MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!
Thank you AB and Miss Tide! and Tide, we really miss you around these parts!!!!
