It felt great to get a big win on Monday Night Football against the Chargers. We knew the type of team we were going into this game. We had games like this before but we weren’t able to pull it off. We’re thankful we were able to pull it off this week.
The win was big, especially because we can relax our minds and just take a break, not completely from football but just rest, get away for a little bit and come back well energized and ready to go against the Saints
It’s always good to see Denver Broncos on top of the division. We just have to keep on grinding. It’s a long season. Hopefully we can hold it upand get it done.
With the bye week break, I’m going back to College Station for the Texas A&M game. I hope I can see a monumental win for my school, and our fans against LSU.
Gig em!

GIG EM VON AND GO BRONCOS CANT WAIT FOR SOME BRONCOS FOOTBALL
Wanna see the EATING GREEDY dance, bring it back.
I’m all for getting Bay back on payroll.
Crazy how the shift of power went to the NFC….still think broncos can beat anybody but the packers…. Offense way too good. We would have to play out of our minds to beat them, IMHO
I don’t think the Packers are as good as you think. Plus, we have a beast of an offense ourselves and IMO our defense is light years better than the Packers.
Have fun this weekend Von!
@DerekWolfe95: “@7Vigil8: @DerekWolfe95 so The D has Doom, Gloom, and Champ. What’s your nickname?” Just WOLFE
Sorry Von but this die hard LSU fan would like to see my Tigers chew up your aggies!! Other than that enjoy your time off and get ready to eat up Drew Brees and the Saints.
Get some rest Von and enjoy your time off!
FTR!!
Bay:
Good to see you back posting! Great post on the fact no team has comeback with 0 points scored in first half and coming back to score 35 in the second half!! The link to Canton was great. You are doing the “work” I always said you are the Broncos Wiki!! LOL.
Kudos to you! Thanks for the facts!
FTR
I’ll be watching Houston, Was,. Jets, and Oakland this week.
I enjoyed the SF game.
I love to watch ‘the man who destroyed USC football’ (after he rebuilt USC football)….lose! After all…don’t we Bronco fans perpetually ‘have it in’ for the Seachickens? At least us old guys should!!! LOL
Any baseball fans???
DB,
It was AWESOME to watch the Seachickens LOSE! They are posers. And then I got into a fight with a Seachicken fan about the Packer game. He basically told me that my team was old and had no future. Pretty sure I didn’t handle it the way I should. But he honestly thinks that it was fair that his team won that game and I’m sorry, I don’t think it was fair when we won the Charger game when Cutler fumbled and it was called an incomplete pass. I was embarrassed. You’d think they’d be a little more embarassed?

“The comeback story of Peyton Manning is as real and raw as the scar that runs down the back of the quarterback’s neck, emerging from under his helmet to make a hard cut for the name sewn on his Broncos jersey.
We need a comeback story to truly believe in.
We are all suckers for the myth in sports. But where is your Tim Tebow jersey now? And doesn’t that Livestrong bracelet feel as heavy on your wrist as a dirty lie?
What Manning did for the Broncos by leading the biggest comeback in the history of “Monday Night Football” was better than an NFL miracle.
Because it wasn’t a miracle.
It was talent.
Miracles are not sustainable.
Manning is on a mission.”

I was rooting for the seachickens…
Some of us ‘old’ guys are still seething after that 55-10 game back in the late 80s.
Enjoy the break Von. With no game this weekend, I’ll be merely a spectator on Saturday & Sunday. Rooting only for Clady Gaga to win their fantasy matchup…
Broncos Country Strong 2012!!!
Haha Sndvl!!! I feel you!
but I still don’t think the niners won that as much as it was that Elway couldn’t play all the positions by himself. We all knew he was carrying the team… The niners were a well balanced force to be reckoned with… that’s all…and they are coming back.
Seattle on the other hand was like KC and SD. Twice a year …foe. Kill ‘em. Embarrass ‘em. Humiliations galore!!! Haha
at least…that how I feel about it! LOL
Von,
the defense did a great job against the chargers and made us all proud. The media will keep giving Peyton all the credit because that attracts the most readers, and don’t get me wrong because he did great (Peyton’s the man), but don’t think for a second that we don’t appreciate the great job you guys did owning that charger offense, that was awesome to see. It truly was an all around team win, you guys played like champions. I’m excited to see whats next, and I’m still celebrating
tlcat06,
Did you tell that Seachicken fan even the ESPN and NFL Network people called it the “Seattle Screw”??? (In reference to Seattle Slew a prize race horse that won the triple crown.)
Everyone knows they lost that game even the review official admitted it after the fact. It was the reason we got our regular reffs back!!!
LOL Seattle fans are still complaining about That Super Bowl they lost to Pitt! They are pathetic Liberal Winers!!!
I used to love when Seattle was in the AFC West, we used to beat them 90% of the time!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!
QUESTION???
When is the trade deadline? And will we make any changes? What changes are needed?
LOVE our = O-Line
LOVE our = WRs
LOVE our = QB (But not the back-ups)
Still think we could use help at TE! Like Dressen, Tamme is a familiar target, but imo I am not a fan. Like Virgil Green want to see more of him. Also want to see if Julius Thomas can do anything (is he even still on the roster?)
***SO WE COULD PICK UP A TE***
Like our RB running game = glad we got a full time FB!
LOVE our = Von Miller, Elvis Doom, Champ Bailey, Chris Harris, DJ Williams (If he ever gets back), and Woodyard
LIKE = Wolfe, Adams, Vickerson, Brookings, Carter, Moore, DE #91 (Brain Fart – his name) *** Robert Ayers
WORRIED ABOUT = Porter, Bannan, and the others up front and in the back end who mostly play Special Teams and certain packages!
*** I think we should seriously consider picking up another Veteran LB if possible and perhaps a VETERAN SAFETY that may have got cut this preseason***
OTHER than that we should be good to go!!! I can’t believe Jack Del Rio did not bring in anybody = he probably knows of some good talent out there!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!
BTW,
I liked our Defense better last year = we are missing DJ Williams and Brian Dawkins!!! And actually our old D cordinator that is a FAIDER now – he was GOOD!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!
If you didn’t watch Von on first take yesterday. Go to the AFC West Blog on ESPN and watch it. Love him!!!
One last thing. . .
We are eventually going to need a serious ball-er CB to compliment Bailey and yet another in five years when Bailey quits making the Pro Bowl!
WE came close in this off season looking at “Samuels” – I would say not getting him was biggest failure of our off season . . .
But you never know when you are going to find that guy . . . Perhaps Chris Harris could play himself into that . . . Perhaps “Porter” could???
But chances are we still need that next STUD at CB!!!
Just a thought!!! Perhaps we’ll draft a good one next year – we should of got J. Jenkins this year or P. Peterson last.
Heck I miss Dre Bly he was the best we had thus far with Bailey on the field!
GO BRONCOS!!!
I disagree. Initially I wanted Asante Samuels and then I watched tape on him. He is lazy and does not tackle at all. I waaaay prefer Porter over Samuels.
I miss Darrent Williams.
Miller BLOG AFC WEST ESPN:

Good stuff, proud he didn’t talk bad about Tebow!
I could be wrong, but I think Samuels is leading the entire league in INTs!!! FYI
But is you disagree that’s fine, you have your opinion and everyone has mine! LOL
Samuels got 1 interception, he got it last week against Oakland. The leaders got 4 (Thomas DeCoud and Tim Jennings).

“I miss Darrent Williams.”
True story… what a talent he could have been playing opposite Champ. To be honest I really wish we could find a safety that can stop the big plays early. Like a Polamalu, or a Reed type of guy. I think safetys like Lynch are non existant now… which is sad because that dude was a beast. If we can get a “Reed” in the backfield and a couple linebackers I think our defense is top 5. With out those type of guys helping against the pass were going to continue to get rolled over with big plays.
Also on a somewhat different subject, if anyone has xbox live and plays Madden AND is a Bronco fan hit me up with a friend request. My gamer tag is the same as my name here. Can never have to many Bronco fanatics on your friends list! lol!
I liked your new sack dance. Disco! Your a good linebacker and hAve some great teammates. Rest well and get ready to beat them Saints!
You are the best thing in Denver since sliced bread was invented. Keep up the good work.
Papa Mojo: I agree, we need a big time player at safety. I like what we have in,Porter, Harris and the other CB’s we have if we have a player like Reed, Polamalu or Atwater. This is a position i think Denver needs to fill in FA or Draft this next year along with Linebacker.
Yo Von, Huge win….. U sint the only one who can rest… Have fun on your bye week. Come back energized.. Sack Brees… If we let him throw the ball we might be in trouble.
Oh yeah, and a 5’9, 5’10 explosive and strong running back to be a ground and pound running back. Hillman will be good complement to McGhee or whoever they can find to fit that mold.
We still need depth on the line as well.
My wife and I were born and raised in Colorado but now live in San Clemente, CA. We were at the game Monday Night!!! We had seats 5 rows behind the Broncos bench on the 50 yard line. WHAT A GAME WE GOT TO SEE LIVE! I got some really great pictures I wish I could share here but I can’t seem to paste them here. We went to last years overtime win also, but this was way better! If someone knows how I can share the pictures let me know! Thanks! GO BRONCOS!!!!
Gig ‘em Ags!
Born in Denver raised as a Bronco fan supported the Bronco’s since day one and Monday night games was the best never lost hope in you guys
You guys played great. We was good to see all facets of the ge come together for you guys in the second half. Way to keep believing and fighting for the win!!
