I think everyone knows where we’re at, record-wise. We’re 2-3. It is what it is. You can’t change it. But as far as going into this next game, everybody wants to win. Everybody wants to be atop the division and this week we get an opportunity to do that. Everybody is going to put their best effort forward and try to make that happen.
That’s the biggest thing, is when you get a bye week, especially where we’re at in our season, we want to have a sweet taste or at least be excited about going into the bye week, rather than the other way. It just comes down to the opportunity we have this week and trying to play our best football and coming out victorious.
The Chargers are a really good team. Every game we watched, they played very solid. They played one game versus Atlanta they didn’t play as well, but we definitely have a challenge. We have to play our best to compete in their home field advantage. We have to take care of ourselves and let our play do the talking.
Wanted to answer one fan question, and this one came from Atwater4HOF, who wants to know who the funniest guy on offense is. I’d say Peyton, as far as his dry humor. That much experience, he has all the stories in the world.

What type of things do you do during your week off? Do you still watch football on the Sunday you don’t play
do you ever hangout with the defensive players ever? Chris Harris has really became a stud along with miller, and i would think those guys are some humble players. or would you say that the offense and defensive teams tend to jostle with each others respective group
Eric! first off, what a sweet catch for the touchdown last week. respect getting dirty. i look up to you in a big way. you wor hard and you fight for the ball in a clean way. i have faith in the team that the rest of the year will go well, tough opening sched for a “new group” you guys kill it when youre clicking though!
i live north of san d and ill be feild level 3rd row on your guys side line in qualcom. and ill be flying up in december some time to support in denver. keep on fighting the good fight man and do what you do cause i see good things in the future. stay healthy
question is, do miss tebow? now and for the future? the guy had some work to do but if he would have been behind peyton and learned a year or 2 with his work ethic, do you think you guys could have had long careers together?

I like to watch the offense operate also, when they are on the field. As long as the defense puts pressure on Rivers I think we’ll be ok. Also on defense I fill that Mays is to slow. He can’t keep up with the TE’s & he gets caught out of poistion. We need to replace him with someone quicker.

Eric I definitely think that Monday will be a test in itself, but statistically, you guys do play your best when it comes to divisional games, so I am excited to watch the game Monday night. Does D J Williams Return this week or is it after the bye? I am hoping it is this week, PLEASE GOD!!!!!! I can kinda see where we struggle without him. I do want to ask you why Peyton doesn’t throw to you as often as Demerious? Does he not have the confidence in you? I am waiting for you Decks to have your break out game!!!! I’m in agreement with a lot of the above comments and I think you should be getting the ball more than you are. But as always, I’m just excited to see y’all play and I’m gearing up for a great night of football. We might be a small group of fans here in Columbus, but we sure can make some noise and we’ll all be together tonight cheering y’all on. I’m have to admit, that I’m pretty curious too as to what players do during a bi-week. Is football the last thing on your mind when you have a week off?
oh man! what a monday night! i forgot to jump back on here and say some stuff the days after. but eric, you damn near saluted me after you pushed that screen pass in with the pile on you. i picked the right game to be at. actually im just glad i didnt leave before the second half started. charger fans are dicks and you guys didnt give me much to say back. but when the 4th quarter said 00:00 we knew what was up. thank you guys for not giving up and being the team i know you can be! made the decision to fly up for the chargers game! ps get me some sideline passes haha
