Pope has been more effective than both Bell and Young. He's also a more physical back. Our O-line is not creating huge holes this. Our best runners this year have been backs that can break a tackle or two. I loved watching Selvin Young last year, but even when I watched the opener live at Oakland, he does not seem to be the same back. Last year he could break a tackle, move left to right, and even move the pile a little. I'm not convinced his knee is 100%. Even his ability to run off the screen isn't what it was last year, which makes me think he's lost a step... We really need to be able to run the ball this week so we don't have to throw every down and risk turnovers.
