Denver and the rest of our AFC West counterparts draw two of the toughest divisions in football: the NFC East and the AFC North, which from where I sit are capable of producing at least five playoff contending teams (Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, Steelers, Ravens). All told, when you factor in the Chargers twice, the Colts, and the Patriots, Denver is playing against nine top-tier teams from last season. The good news is that five of those games are at home, and with the way Denver's defense played last Sunday, I expect that we will be more competitive, so long as that intensity is there throughout November and December.
