After Sunday’s win over the Vikings, the Broncos found themselves tied for first in AFC West.
Oh, this season is getting really interesting.
How far can the Broncos go? I won’t hazard a guess because I wouldn’t want to limit them. I’m certainly not looking at the price of plane tickets to Indianapolis in February at this point. But I wouldn’t be surprised by anything that happens the rest of the season, however long it lasts.
After the win over the Vikings, defensive lineman Elvis Dumervil offered a key to future success when he spoke with 850KOA Radio about the Broncos’ being tied for first place.
“It’s hard to get to that spot and even harder to remain there,” Dumervil said. “We have to continue to work. I think we have four more games left. We have three at our hose so we have to take care of business.”
That kind of approach just might work wonders. There was certainly no dancing in the locker room after the Broncos dispatched of the Vikings.
“In the NFL, you can’t get too high; you can’t get too low,” Dumervil continued. “You have to stay consistent; you have to have a grinding mentality. We have to continue to work hard and get better.”
I like that the Broncos don’t think they have accomplished anything yet. I like that they are talking about continuing to work hard and improve. And I love the fact that they are playing as a team right now and seemingly everyone is contributing.
“We’re just going to keep battling. That’s what we do,” linebacker Jason Hunter told 850KOA on Sunday. “The offense is going to pick up the defense, the defense will pick up the offense and the special teams will pick up everybody. That seems to be our recipe. If you look at all our games, that’s what we’ve been doing. We’re going to continue to focus and guys will continue to work. We’ll look at this game and clean this game up and get ready for Chicago.”
He’s right. It has been a recipe that has produced some thrilling results lately. Next up on the menu?
Bear.
No doubt the Broncos hope to make home cooking as tasty as it has been on the road. Denver has won five consecutive road games and now closes out the season with three of the last four games at home.
They have the chance to go as far as they want to go. I’m going to sit back and enjoy the ride to see where all of this leads.
How far can the Broncos go? Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts.
Sincerely,
Mike

Shoot, the Bills have fallen off of the map. The QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is a souns QB, but struggling as of lately. If he catches fire, watch out.
That would put us at 4-2 in Conference games and 8-4 in Division games,KC,SD,or Oak,can’t beat that!!!
I’m saying we could lose against the Bears and Pats and still win the Division,we are playoff bound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“ROOKIE OF THE YEAR A QUARTERBACK KILLA, NUMBER 58 THE GREAT VON MILLER.”
OK, but we`re not going to lose to the Bears, not with their offence. we`ll score 20 at the most and the Bears can`t match that.
I’m going to make a bold and risky prediction: Broncos will go to the Super Bowl and win. Haha! I’m thinking a repeat of XXXII ;D Broncos and defending champs Green Bay, and we will beat them. They say history is cyclical and I wanna believe that this season!
I meant we`ll score 20 points atleast.
If we finish 9-7 we will win the West, and we will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God Bless the Denver Broncos.
Can someone please tell me why there are no college Champ Bailey highlights on youtube.? Champ scored all 3 ways offense, defense and special teams while at Georgia. We have one of the best return men ever and we only use Champ on defense.
The faiders go to G.B. then in oakland against the Lions. Thats hard to overcome.
Just making the playoffs will be a GREAT feat after last year!
And we`re hungry, owner, coaches, players, and us FANS!!
LMAO! I thought you said FEAST! LOL
i want a tebow jersey so bad thats awsome you got one bud.
If the Faders lose to GB and Detroit, even if they beat KC and SD,as long as we win 2 outta 4 ,and KC is one of them……we win the West!!!!
So we outta have it!!!
I still would like to get Tims book Through My Eyes. Some day I buy it.
LMAO!!!!!!
Strand I’ll get you that as a christmas gift I’m getting a seasonal job at a book store lol.

I’m not much of a reader myself, but if I was I’d buy it!
I agree BFE. Tell that to those idiot sports analysts. Their so freaken bias.
As Denver Broncos fans we ab-SALUTE-ly deserve the recent success. No other franchise in all of sports other than the Oklahoma state basketball program has suffered tragedy more than the Denver Bronco Fan.
R.I.P Darrent and Damien
man i spend so much time on these blogs chatting with you guys/gals and last night i had an awsome dream that we all met at a denver game and were all in the same section watching our broncos whip some a$$
crazy!!!
LAX, no need guy. I appriciate it though.
Gotta go guys….Bronc on,later strand!
Thats a cool dream. I`d like to meet some of ya, not all. LOL
my wife bought tebows book for my b day and i read it in a couple days but what a great read and i hate reading.
Later BFE. Hang tough!!
Not a problem Bud I’ll let you know how it reads though
I don`t like reading much myself. It takes alot for me to finish a book.
i have never watched a pro football game live but man i could imagine its freakin awsome. i would give my left nut to see a denver game in mile high. lol
I never read novels. The only thing I read is the Bible or if a book has to do with God. That and the Denver Post sports page.
Dude the left one is important lol I’d shave a little off to go lol How will you make little bronco fans while missing a nut?
Theres no need to lose anything, just do it. LOL
god has already blessed me with 2 beautiful girls so im coverd. lol
Miller, thats cool.
point being i just need to fork over some dough to get tickits one day.
Are you in Colorado?
Or listen to the fan and try winning some
i think von miller after missing a week is going to be so jacked up to hit somebody this week the bears are screwed i cant wait.
i live in bend oregon so its kinda tuff to get all the way to denver to catch a game but i will find a way to see tebow magic one way or another in the near future
When we play seatle…
i have my 3 year old daughters room coverd in broncos stuff my wife hates it lol
seattle is an option but i would like to go to mile high that would be awsome. if not seattle is viable
i have no idea how far this team will go but i would like to think if we keep on playing for eachother and tebow continues to make strides in the passing game the sky is the limit for denver
Question needs to be when does Denver get the superbowl here I’ve waited 19 years… still waiting
you are meaning getting the superbowl in our stadium right?
Yes we need it played here once at least.
On a tangent I was talking to a coworker and she used to work at a high end denver bar that Champ Bailey frequently visited and she said he was one of the classiest guys she has met very down to earth
nice !!!champ is the only jersey i have. love that guy
Great guy really she was saying how first time he came in he asked if she was gonna go out with him and she thought he just wanted to getsome but that he kept coming in and asking so that he was genuine not your normal celeb
I just want to give a big shout out to all the bronco fans in minny on the weekend. I couldnt walk 20 yards in that city without running into somebody with a hat or jersey. We took over Britts Tavern on sat. night . The section i sat in , I was high fiving people in every direction. When we scored, it was just as loud. The best thing about the whole thing though was when im walking out of the game was having vikes fans telling me we are lucky to have who we have behind center. THATS SAYING SOMETHING.
