Not a bad selection, but it might be a hard transition from the college mascot game to the pros. I don’t know if it’s ever been done before.

I hope they don’t think that a five o’clock shadow and a prop change can fool us. I mean, he isn’t Superman here. We’re not willing to suspend our disbelief and say a pair of glasses has got us snowed.
He apparently doesn’t have a name yet. But as soon as he does, I’m sure me and the rest of the mascot community will officially welcome him into the fold. Now that, of course, includes some heavy hazing and a background check. This is where we find out if his last name is Pete. Stay tuned sports fans, Miles is on the case!*
* Of course, this means absolutely nothing. Most likely I will forget all about this, and you’ll never hear about it again.

Miles, there might be a million other mascots out there brotha … but none of them are enshrined in stone spinning above the greatest stadium on the planet. Keep up the good work my man

Since the Steelers selected in the mascot draft, Purdue Pete, a mighty man who works with steel, Making Boilers, are there plans afoot to draft Ralphie the Colorado Buffalo for the Broncos? Looks like that would be a good fit. You two would make great stablemates.
I think depth at the Mascot position is at a maximum right now. With Thunder and Bucky and myself, I think we will focus on our other needs. I can’t rule out a free agent signing though…
Miles, The Pittsburgh Steelers need all the help they can get! Now that we are poised for payback, (’05 AFC Championship), I think we have them running scared! Too bad we don’t play them this year…. Well, there’s always the playoffs! (IF they make it… I know we will!)
