Broomfield REPRESENT!

Friday, September 7th, 2007

Holy Cow!  Broomfield really IS Broncos Country.  We had another Flag Stop in Broomfield on Wednesday night and WOW!  It was easily the most attended stop so far.  Most guesses put attendance at about 3,000.  We had the usual cheerleaders, Super Bowl trophies, Billy Thompson, and of course, yours truly.

Another Cheyenne Road Trip?

Monday, August 27th, 2007

Yes…kind of. This time it was to Cheyenne Wells, CO, which is just down the road (I-70) a little bit (about 3 hours east). Over the next couple of weeks we are heading to the four corners of Broncos Country to officially “plant the flag.” We’ve selected a few places that really embody and represent Broncos Country and are celebrating with the citizens. We bring with us the Super Bowl Trophies, Alumni, Cheerleaders, and of course…ME!

We leave them with their own Broncos Country flag that they will fly proudly on game day. We also have the people sign a flag that we bring back with us and display here at the stadium. Our first stop was a great one! Cheyenne Wells has about 1,200 people in it, and I swear that most of them came out to greet us. They even let the schools out of their first day to come show their Broncos pride. We met a ton of great people including the Mayor of Cheyenne Wells, Monte Baker.

Frontier Days Follow-Up — Pics Inside!

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Like I said, we went up to Cheyenne Frontier Days on Saturday and I had a blast.  What a great event.  The Broncos fans up there don’t get to see us as much as some of you so they were totally psyched.

We did a signing, then hung out in the VIP tent (that’s how I roll!) then I messed around with the crowd at the rodeo and did a little slapstick with rodeo clowns.  This, of course, was after we made our Grand Entrance.  It was a little toasty, but the misters and a little help from fans kept me from foaming up too much.  All in all it was a great day.

Thanks to all the people from Cheyenne Frontier Days.  They really took care of us.  And thanks to all the fans that showed up, Cheyenne is DEFINITELY Broncos Country!
