Was at a Charity Celebrity event this weekend in Melbourne, Florida. Tim Wakefield, the knuckleballer for the Red Sox has a golf tournament that raises money for the Space Coast Early Intervention Center that helps kids that have special needs. Incredible event. Tim also won the Roberto Clemente award and had a community Service award named after him in Boston. Way to go Tim.
Pretty cool that he and other athletes do so much in a community. Wish I saw more of it from current players and I challenge guys to find a cause and make a difference.
Now, WHO YOU ALL PICKING FOR THE SUPER BOWL?

I talked to my cousin out there in Haslet, Texas and he said they got three inches on Monday. He told me the last time they had a storm like that was 20 years ago. What a trip dude.

This may sound harsh of me but I have no sympathy for those in the south getting snow (not as though they are asking for it!) I am in So.Dak. and have had enough snow. 3 inches in nothing! But that is why I am probably dumb to live here, it’s my own fault!!

From your comment I’m guessing you are in the eastriver side.spent 20 years back there but have since moved back westriver, much milder climate here in rapid city not much snow so far, usually get that in march.
S.D. Bronco30 its not really the snow that is bad its that we had a ice storm with about 1 to 2in of ice covering the ground here in Arlington on monday and now the 3in of snow is just covering the ice. Believe me I am not complaining about the snow.

Hey S.D.Bronco30. Hows it going bro. We were at -15 on Monday. They said it was the coldest in 18 years. Down right cold if you ask me. Like I told you a few months ago my father is from S. D. also. He told me the other day that when he was a kid that he would work in -30 to -40 outside on a regular basis back then and that those temps back then were common. I said no way, and he told me ya way. God help me.
Hey guys, just read this on the NFL news board. Union, agents mulling over Boycott of NFL Combine and Draft. Thats rather far fetched I think. That`ll hurt the rookies more than anything. Rediculious!!
I just read that too and listened to both the Goodell interview as well as the players assn. news conference. This is nuts! One side wants to get to the table and get it done and the other side wants tpo play, soooooooo…WhAT IS THE PROBLEM??? WHY IS IT NOT DONE!
You have got to be kidding me! Why is it that we have a bunch of children fighting over what? One side says they try to sit at the table and get talking started…the other side says they trry to sit at the table and get talking started and both sides say that the other side is not interested in talking. I wonder what he players association, or the team owners, or the powers to be in the front offices of the NFL would say to the fans walking out and not buying tickets? Goodall says it is time to get it done, time to sit and get it talked out and get it done before it affects everybody…The players assn. says they want to play…doesn’t seem so to me on either part. Why are they not sitting and talking instead of telling us, the fans, that are paying real good, hard earned money, to support them?
Now agents and union officials want to boycot the combine…RIGHT! I would linke to know which one of those fools dreamed this up. Do you think for one second that there is an agent out there that is going to take the potential of losing A LOT OF MONEY due to one of his prospects not being at the combine? If this is the case, he has no business being an agent, nor representing any talent!

AMEN strand. This is crazy. Who do they really think they are going to hurt the worst? Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, the snow in Steamboat has been Spectacular! We had 261 inches the whole season last year and We’ve already got 267 inches this year, and March is our snowiest month of the year. So as you probably guessed I’ve been busy on The MT ripping it up and I just haven’t let myself get to excited about anything with out a CBA in place.
I would like to see The Stealers win but with the announcment That Pouncey wont play I’m just not sure that OLine can do to The Packers what they did against The Jets, so I’m gonna have to go with The Pack on this one. This one should be good.
