It is great to get the opinions of a true sportsman and warrior, who knows what the game is all about.

In football, as in rugby, injuries are part of the game. Every time you play is like your body is taken apart, and it takes time just to get your body comfortable again. Unless you have played the game at the top level you just cannot know what it is like.

AZ..I feel you on that…things just break..and i can’t remember, what happen….the last time i broke something was the afc championship game against the steelers..when plummer threw his second pick..I picked my tv up and threw through our front window…and no my wife didn’t console me…

also believe in us turnin our season around…right after we eat the Chiefs up..score will be 28-17

Sorry about the previous blogs blow up and the late reply away from the computer for awhile. I didn’t mean to insinuate that you were a poser. I, as well, was just venting. I have been a Bronco fan since I can remember. That goes back to Craig Morton, Rick Upchurch, Gradishar, Chavous etc. (I was born in ’73 so that’s about as far back as I can go). However, since my parents moved us to Tucson in the mid 80s I haven’t been privileged to go to many games in Denver. Also because I tend to have to “fix” items in my home that get “broken” when the Bronco’s lose, I tend to be short funds. That said I am a true fan, not a band wagoner! Even if the Broncos dont win another game this year, I’ll will be glued to the TV praying for one more touchdown. I am predicting a miraculous turnaround and a victory over the Pats in the AFC Championship. (REMEMBER 1980 USA HOCKEY! DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRICLES?) I do!

14 responses and they ran the gamit. We have a shot at the Division. Will we win it? I’m not sure, mainly due to the number of injuries we’ve been discussing. There’s going to be a few shake ups, there’s going to be a few changes here and there but we’re going to have to finish the season with who we have primarily.

Folks, there’s no one to blame for injuries. I had them and every player I’ve ever know that played in the NFL had them at the peak of their physical condition.

Have you ever been in a car wreck? Well that’s what it’s like out there. You condition yourself to have a coat of armour around you, primarily muscle to defend yourself, but the body is only meant to bend in certain directions.

Could we beat the Cowboys or the Patriots or the Colts? Not right now and probably not this year the way were playing and I know you’ll get tired of me saying this, with “THE INJURIES” we have.

So let’s make a deal. I know it’s frustrating to watch your/mine/our team go through this but they ARE “our team”, so let’s stick this out a while and see how they can improve and let’s see if we can win the Division at the very least. Let’s make that the only goal going forward and see what happens.

I forget who said it, but yes, we are spoiled in Denver with the success. In Tampa they just wanted us to win a few more each year when we were 5-11. Imagine what will be said if that was the case?

Hey you guys, I’m running down to the last University of Miami game to be played in the Orange Bowl this weekend for a big Alumni event.

Im sorry mark,but lets face it,this team has been undisciplined and unprepared (physical conditioning) from the start. Shanahan since the loss of Kubiak and Alex gibb is just not the same. They demanded performance from the guys. Shanny should resign after this season and lets get a tough disciplinarian in there that demands performance from the players and coaches or you dont play or get paid. We are seeing the results of a lack of discipline and soft philosophy that currently prevails in the organization primarily the coaching,hence the players dont buy in to what they are doing and the result is what we have. Injuries are unfortunate but not an excuse for losing by the remaining members of the team.Pros rise to the occasion if they are motivated (coached). It starts and ends at the top.

My gut feeling tells me that the Broncos will prevail this weekend against KC. I think our Broncos still have plenty left in the tank. We as fans, have been spoiled over the many great years, time to back our boys up during their tough time, GO BRONCOS!

Let’s keep things in perspective here, like Mark says. Yes, this season hasn’t been what we’ve hoped for thus far but it’s far from over as with a win over Kansas City, who will be without Larry Johnson, we virtually eliminate them from wild card contention because then they’ll have to go to Denver and try to get a win against us where they traditionally struggle. I’m confident that, so long as Cutler plays, we’ll win convincingly at Arrowhead. Go Broncos!!!

Cmon now guys …. Whats all this talk about next year about. We are one game out of first place in our division nd the year is only half over. The chargers play the colts this week and we are going against the chiefs who should be without larry johnson. So, we very much could eb tied for FIRST i repeat FIRST place after this week. And for the injuries, the will eventually heel ,we just have to get through this injury set back THIS SEASON. When we are somewhat healthy we can beat anyone(Steelers are a top 3 team in AFC , we beat them without javon walker and travis henry?… So i dont know why everyone is talking abou next season when we are very much alive THIS SEASON.. Keep the faith
