Turnovers & Penalties, No Win

October 21st, 2008 - 6:14pm by mark_cooper

Short post today. This is one of those games you just put behind you. Penalties and turnovers are a no win situation and until you can stop them — you have no shot at winning.

Great D the first half then boom — 200-plus yards rushing against you — your doomed. It was a long day, and one we can just shelve and move past.

We’ve seen it happen this year to the Colts, the Cowboys, the Giants and many others. The Titans are the only team that looks hot right now and that can change with injuries. I was glad to see Royal back before the bye week, now we can get back on track and put the turnovers behind us.

Ever have one of those days where things just don’t click? At the end of the day you say, “I should have just stayed in bed. Yep that was Monday Night. I’ve already put it behind me!!!

Hey Coop, long time fan here. I guess what’s frustrating is that this team has the talent to win 10 or 11 games but they don’t do the little things ( the fundamental things) right……….like securing the ball, wrapping up a tackle, not getting stupid penalties, and not dropping passes. As a fan, I’m all for putting it behind me as long as the players prepare themselves in a professional manner and put it behind them. So far fans haven’t seen that because the same mistakes are being made. Now it’s a pattern. I know players don’t purposely make mistakes but it’s time for them to start performing up to their talent level. They shouldn’t have to be taught how to hold a football or how to tackle they should know how to do all of that by now. Thanks for letting me vent.

  2. monodono says:

    Hey COOP,

Did you kick that sissy baseball players ass? The Broncos should’ve gone fishing with you.
The Broncos started off great. They ran the ball well ON 1ST down which set up easy 3rd down conversions and controlling the linbackers. Cutler was throwing strikes. Then they put A.Hall in. Why? Did Pittman get hurt or did he just get his 5 reps & Shanahan make a change just to make a change? Come on commit to the guy he deserves 25 or more carrys a game.

I’m just gonna stop there. Get it to-gether!

They have a week to reflect and build on something.(I dont know what.) If they don’t come out and play well after the bye this year will be done, not mathematically but thier confinence will be shot.
This TEAM reminds me of the 83, 84, 85, & 86 years. A young QB with all the talent in the world and not enough snaps under his belt to make good enough choices. (not to mention the smack talk). a D that gives up big plays then tightens up in the red zone.(sometimes) The turnovers. The 3 & OUTS. The penalties.(What are we the raiders?) The Follies of old.
This TEAM has allot of talent and could, and I repeat COULD be great if they can clear thier minds and find some ballance. (Coaches)
Like I said if The Broncos don’t Dominate after the bye IT JUST MIGHT BE AN EARLY AVALANCHE SEASON.

jlalum01 you’ve hit it on the head this time, when you do things right no one will know you’ve done anything at all. Do the little things right and good things will come.

COME ON GUYS GIVE US A REASON TO BE PROUD, GIVE YOURSELVES A REASON TO BE PROUD.

    GO BRONCOS ! ! ! !

    Coop,

You’re exactly right. I’m already thinking about the Dolphins. If we don’t turn the ball over, we can still win 10 or 11 games. I believe we can win seven of our last nine. The Jets, Raiders and Chiefs all appear on our schedule, and they should be three wins. We can beat the Falcons and Dolphins, although they’re vastly improving teams. The Panthers and Bills are the two really tough teams that remain (no I don’t give respect to the Chargers, whenever I feel blue about how poorly we’ve played, I remember that the Chargers laid an egg at Buffalo and have done so in numerous instances). In any case, let’s go men. It’s not too late. Get healthy and go from there!

  4. JayCutler4MVP says:

Boss out for the yr and Champ is out for 4-6 weeks.. We can still do this

  5. Broncofaninkc1 says:

I blame the loss on Andre Hall. They have been talking so much on not committing turnovers this past week. What do they do? They fumble on their first two drives. After that it was all over. The team went to that mode of “Here we go again”. We score early and NE has to throw the ball. We killed them early with our pass rush. That is how you play the 3-4 D ( against the pass). Two thing that was positive was that they pressured the QB all game, finally some sacks. And second, Champ is still the BEST CB in the game. He shut down Moss until he got hurt. Then Moss ate Bly alive the rest of the game. Bly is not in the same class as Champ. I hated to see Moss celebrating after his TDs. But he knows that Champ had and would have shut Moss down. Champ the BEST COVER and ALL AROUND CB in the game.

  6. Atwaters da man says:

It is time to let the rookies to give us the speed and attitude needed badly! Woodyard should be put in place of B Bailey. Josh Barrett played well in the preseason and his speed and weight is needed badly!! Ryan Torian should finally be ready to go and maybe he can bring the attitude we need. I still don’t agree with the foxworth trade and it is now totally exposed. I like Hackney allot better then Ramsey so all of this could a be blessing in desciese. I believe more than any jerseys numbers changing on the field we need some swagger and attitude! We need a major attitude from top to bottum. The one thing that I keep seeing over and over again on D is we are not sworming to the ball. All 11 players should want a piece of the meat. My last thing which NE might beat us to the punch on is it is time TO BRING BACK LYNCH AND MAYBE GOLD! Thanks for your time!

  7. Atwaters da man says:

Chad Simpson RB (Indy practice squad), DTAlvin Mac(Broncos preseason)DT Dre Moore (TB practice squad) DT Derek Lokey (Cheifs PS)

What is up with Powell? Anyone?

I have honestly said this close to 20 times! Sobody get this to Slowik please. The point of the successful 3-4 is the put more wieght and athletism on the field. Line up show be…

  8. Atwaters da man says:

We should be pissed off right now! All 53 should be so pissed off that they are focused to the piont where it is scary to look in there eyes! Wake the F%*K UP BRONCOS!! Throw some chairs lift some friggin wieghts! Unbelievable

  9. egybronco says:

I have never felt so ashamed to be a Broncos fan as I am after watching what happened on Monday Night Football.

Champ Bailey said it best, on the defensive side the JUNIOR HIGH football players that the Broncos send out to the field every week have no accountability, pride or heart. The d-less d-fence is a group of sorry excuses for professional football players. A high school quarterback lit up Dre Bly and the worst safeties in the league and looked like Tom Brady. A washed up never been good running back had his best day as a pro in the FIRST HALF and a rookie free agent looked like the second coming of Terrell Davis. I feel sorry for Champ Bailey and DJ Williams. Fire Slowik and trade all the talent lacking players on the defense and bring in Mike Nolan next year and let him build a defense that can help the offence.

The Broncos have now gotten blown out 3 out of the last 16 games they have played dating back to last year (Chargers, Lions and Patriots). I can’t remember the last time the Denver Broncos, one of the best and most successful franchises in the NFL got blown out in so many games in such a small time span. I don’t think this team especially on defense understands what it means to wear the Orange and Blue, if these players think were a mediocre franchise like the Chargers, Rams, Cardinals etc… they should get packing and go play somewhere else where mediocre is acceptable.

And these players have to be held accountable to us the fans and especially the good people of the state of Colorado that agreed to pay and extra tax so that Invesco could be built, the people in Colorado made a commitment to the Denver Broncos and yet the Denver Broncos have not held up their side of the deal since 1999. The league has changed and the players have changed, last nights performance was the most pathetic performance I have ever seen the Denver Broncos play, they gave up mid way through the second quarter and decided to embarrass themselves and us the fans.

One message to Jay Cutler, natural talent will only take you so far in this league. I truly believe that you are a special talent and have the ability and heart to be one of the best but that comes when you put in the work (which I think u do) and ignore the hype. You’re only as good as what your record says you are (24-24), which is average. If you want to be great you have to win period, at any cost and in any situation. If you want to be one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play, you should have the right mind set. It seems like you think cause your getting national coverage on your ability you think that you no longer have to work or think that you are never to blame for a loss (its in your attitude). Great quarterbacks carry teams on their shoulders when their down. Since your comparing yourself to John (the greatest quarterback ever to play the game) Elway, let me tell you something about John Elway, he played at the same level week in and week out. John Elway said all the right things and was mature and took criticism well most of the time. John Elway never had the type of talent around him on offense that you have around you and yet he made it to the playoffs on a regular basis, he won the most games as a quarterback ever at the time he retired, 4 AFC Championship Games and 3 Super Bowls and when he finally got the talent he needed he dominated the NFL and won two Super Bowls and a Super Bowl MVP.

I believe in Mike Shanahan and his ability but he has to teach these kids that turnovers are unacceptable. Andre Hall should be benched when Ryan Torain comes in although we haven’t even seen what this kid is made of. He might be worse than Hall. Jeremy Bates has to balance out his play calling and try and stretch the field.

I still believe after all of what was said above and in my view deserving criticism of the Denver Broncos, that we will turn it around and make it to the playoffs this year. Take it one game at a time and beat Miami at home.

And last but not least, there isn’t anything Special about the Denver Broncos Special Teams.

    GO BRONCOS

  10. KiKo J.E. #7 says:

Champ out 4-6 weeks, Boss out for the year and Ramsey out for the year. Things just got a whole lot worse. I don’t care about Boss because he’s always hurt and I think he sucks anyway but “Mr. Pro Bowl” Champ Bailey out 4-6 weeks really hurts. I want to go back to bed and bury my head into the pillow. This SUCKS!

  11. egybronco says:

    Sorry, Jays record is 13-15.

  12. 47rocksurworld says:

It sure looks bleak with Champ being out for a month plus. The depth at other positions means it is time for them to step up and shine. Maybe this is the shake up that is needed to get the rest onboard to do their job to their full potential. Time to show some HEART Broncos, offense needs to step up big and take control of the games. Defense needs to start playing as a team, you do your job and trust your team mate to do his. It can be the start of the rest of the season or the end of this one, please don’t let this loss be the downfall of the rest of a promising year. Prove all the know it all’s in the media wrong, play back Tony Kornhaiser’s comments at every practice and before each game, if that doesn’t make you want to knock somebodies head off I don’t know what the hell will. What is up with trying out punters and kickers, not sure I get that??

  13. B-Marsh=#1 says:

It seems to me that a lot of Broncos fans would love to see John Lynch back. I don’t know if anyone from the broncos organization reads this, but if you do, BRING JOHN LYNCH BACK. He will bring an attitude back to this denver D that has been missing this year. Heart beats talent any day, and our D is coming up short on talent. Paymah will probably replace champ, and woodyard is a good back-up for Boss. Not worried about Ramsey because I know Cutler is going to rise up to his Pro Bowl status and win us the AFC WEST.

  14. orangecrush44 says:

Do the Broncos do any type of stretching? How many groin injuries have we had this year?

  15. Gami3it says:

At first I was so pissed but after a while all I could do was laugh and why?? Because we are possibly the most talented team that finds a way to lose. There is absolutely no reason we shouldnt be undefeated right now. We commit stupid penalties, fumble (which then leads to interceptions), morale falls easily and to top it all off we were banged up and got banged up in that game.

Sour way to go into a bye week but i have no doubt that we will regain winning form when we come out of bye week. The members take responsibility but week in and week out nothing is done about it. Stop saying and start doing. lowr was a disapointment but i like his heads up on that possible INT. I still believe in Barrett, can’t wait for torain, and still believe we never shoulda traided foxworth. with all that said, GO BRONCOS and get your act together. Don’t dissapoint a coach and fans who believe so much in you.

  16. Gami3it says:

PS: As a fan on the east coast who doesnt get to watch too many Broncos games…MNF and SNF is what we look foward to and for one of the few games we get to see to be so horrible, well….you know the rest.

  17. sess44 says:

We didn’t trade Foxworth away, we GAVE him away. I don’t understand giving someone his talent away for that little when if he was not performing as well as desired, why not just bump him down to 4th on the depth chart?

By the way, anyone else get word that we signed Chad Jackson?

  18. C2 says:

Where are you guys getting this info?

  19. 07elway says:

WOW!! I can’t believe Boss is out for the year and we won’t see Champ for 4-6 weeks… that’s gonna hurt us bad unless we can figure something out. Our defense is just tumbling down. As if we couldn’t have anymore problems there we lose Boss and Champ we won’t see him for a month. I’m shakin’ in my boots right about now.

We’re going to need a HUGE miracle on defense if we’re going to have any shot at stopping the run against any team. That is killing us just as badly as turnovers. Cutler, I see, is the leader on offense and Champ is the leader on defense. We got to figure something out on our D to help us through those 4-6 weeks.

And I’ve been the one who’s said it most around here… letting Lynch go was a BIG BIG mistake. No one believed me, all anyone cared about and saw in that guy when he left was his age. There are people older than him still playing strong in this league, so don’t even go there. No one is saying it now b/c everyone is realizing that letting him go was a very dumb move. All he wanted was a chance and we never gave it too him. He had every right as a veteran and successful player to prove himself and prove that he’s good enough to be a starter. But NOOOOO, letting someone that’s been a very big part of this team try & prove himself to somene with much less experience in the NFL, McCree, we let him walk out the door. I don’t want to say those 4 little words but I’m gonna… I Told You So!!!!

And Cutler, you’ve got more talent and potential than this team knows what to do with… I believe in you kid. He’s got the chance RIGHT NOW to prove himself, he needs to take it before someone else does. It’s absolutely fascinating (more so sad) that we went from the #1 offense in the league to this. We have reached our ultimate low and now that we have this bye week, we need to take full advantage of it and come back strong. We need to come back as a brand new TEAM!!! If they can figure this out they’ll be better than ever – Work as a TEAM, Play as a TEAM, you’ll win as a TEAM. Last time I checked, that’s what we want to do.

Winning is important but it isn’t everything, if you can’t play as a team you’re never going to get that W.

    GO BRONCOS!!!!

  20. Detroit Reggie says:

At first I said we would get a top 10 daft pick, well I have to change that, we are going to get a 1st or 2nd pick, well maybe 3rd.

it is going to be between the Lions, Bengals, or us. if the other 2 teams wins 3 games this year then we will get the number 1 pick in the darft because I do not see the Broncos winning another game this year, that is all we have to look forward to.

We was bad with them, how now can we win without them, I am not haten I am just trying to deal with the real so it will not hurt so bad at the end of the season, what punch is the one that hurts the most,

The one that you do not see coming, at the start of this season I did not see this coming and I got hit real hard, but now I see what is happening so I am perparing for it.

  21. Rodsmithforprez says:

Did we really sign Chad Jackson?

  22. JayCutler4MVP says:

yea we signed chad jackson but its gonna take a team effort to pull through this. we’ll see what happens

  23. imready says:

    P. Ramsey is done for the season, just read it on ESPN’s bottom line. Didn’t give any details………Who the heck is Chad Jackson?

  24. monodono says:

    Coop,
I read the playbook, Pittman did gat hurt right before Shanahan put A.Hall in.
    THEY LOOKED GOOD TILL THEN

  25. kurtinct says:

I moved from Denver to Connecticut about 6 years ago and have remained a die-hard Broncos fan regardless. I even get the Sunday NFL ticket so I can watch all the Broncos’ games.

I was really looking forward to the Broncos v. Patriots game. Most of the folks in these parts favor the Patriots. Now that it is over, I am embarrassed and humiliated. I’m not saying I’m not a Broncos fan anymore, but what happened Monday night really makes it hard for me to hold my head up high.

Seems like the person most have settled the blame on is A. Hall. I say the blame lies with Shanahan. WTF is he thinking? I thought the Broncos were looking like contenders, being in the lead of the division and all. But now, it looks like they’re really frauds. GET YOUR S#!^ TOGETHER ALREADY!!!!

My Broncos pride is on the line here in dismal New freaking England.

  26. noypibronxfan says:

hi all! new guy posting here, first timer. but has been a die hard fan of arange and blue eversince the NFL started showing games here in the philippines. i just have to say coop’s posts were really great as they give you opinions from former broncos. i gotta agree w/ bly being overrated. as soon as champ left the field, they immediately went for him. bly is weak. l’backers are fast but too quick in pursuit of the runner that they get out of position once the runner shoot the gaps. d-line played better and got sack this game, good job. although i thought those hits on the qb were really soft. safeties were soft too. somebody teach this pair of safeties hitting ala lynch. hall broke my heart. to carry it and fumble twice, in consecutive plays, unforgiveable. pitt needs to get more carries, he was getting positive yardage before hall started fumbling. now we come back from bye and what do we have? champ out 4-6 weeks. nevermind boss, but champ is really important to this D. i don’t know about you but the cutler, marshall and royal scoring threats look to be a shadow of the past. im bracing myself for lonely ending to this. i do not expect much now after seing monday’s game so don’t get real disappointed in the end.

  27. B-Marsh=#1 says:

I think this loss is just what we needed. A slap in the face to the entire team. It will be interesting to see how they handle the realization that any given Sunday, of Monday in this case. I for one think they are going to come out of the bye week and go 7-2 and win the West. The Broncos are the most underrated team and all they needed was that spark. I would love to see us pick up John Lynch over the next week and really help shape the D. Broncos, please come out with fire and put an end to all this talk about the season being over.

  28. 2champ4pickSIX says:

GOOD HELL COOP!!! It seems that “fans” come out of the woodwork to complain and bash the team when they’re down, but when you win everyone minds their business! I knew this before but damn, every blog since Monday has over 20 comments on it a day.
I have to say we played bad, but not as bad as you guys say. Take away the two fumbles by hall and there is atleast 6 points! DON’T PUT HALL FUMBLING ON SHANNY! It was said, Pittman got hurt you could even see it after he got tackled, always having a lineman help him up. Hall was the only option we had at that point to keep the D honest. Also I say it after each game, get off Bly’s back. First of all stop picking on him when he misses a play, and realize the plays he does make, or atleast the plays he stays in position enough so that someone else can try and make a play. Another note here is, he is a 2nd string CB, so what do you really expect when Champ went down? Williams to cover Moss? Come on guys it was the best we had!
I agree though B-Marsh=#1 we needed this slap in the face. I said it after the KC game that we needed that slap in the face because we overlooked them. What did we do after that? Came out strong and played a good game all around against TB! We were in the Jax game, and I think again that got in the teams head that they could still be great with a bad game. Then this, we needed this realization and I really think we will come out fired up against Miami, HOME GAME, AFTER A LONG REST, AND A SOUR LOSS IN THEIR MINDS FOR 2 WEEKS!
Let’s just not get hot headed and play the game we are best at guys! The season is never over til its over, play it a game at a time! What we really need to do though with champ out for a month is work hard to disguise our defense! We can do it guys!
I still have faith Broncos, work out the kinks and hold onto the ball!

  29. sess44 says:

Chad Jackson is currently a nobody, but I thought he was the best receiver available in the draft a couple of years ago. The reason no one heard about him is because he was drafted by the Patriots, who had to sit behind Moss, Stallworth, Gaffney, Welker, Troy Brown, and briefly, Reche Caldwell. So it is no wonder he had not done much.

  30. thundersrevenge says:

I don’t even know what to say about the game. As all die-hard fans do, I have put a lot of faith into the team this year (more so than last year) believing that this was the shot to turn it all around and make a great run at the play-offs. I’m starting to doubt it now. The teams schedule was supposed to be “easy” up untill the bye week.

I LOVE the Broncos, but I think I need a hug about now.

  31. 2champ4pickSIX says:

thundersrevenge WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
How was our schedule suppose to be easy up until the bye week?!
Do you even watch football, or did you just get rid of your t.v. last year and not hear anything about the season?
First of all our schedule is by far, A LOT HARDER BEFORE THE BYE THEN AFTER! Oakland-crap, GAME 1. Sand Diego-AFC West winners 2 years straight and made it to the AFC Conference Championship last year, GAME 2. New Orleans-Great team when they are healthy, difficult when injured, (not sure where they made it last year), GAME 3. Kansas City-crap but Shanny struggles in Arrowhead, GAME 4. Tampa Bay-Won their division last year but lost to NYG? in wild card, GAME 5. Jacksonville-Playoff team from last year, give us problems, GAME 6. New England-AFC Champions last year, 16-0 regular season still 3-2 without Brady, GAME 7!!

I don’t know if I am missing something here guys, but thundersrevenge, 2 of the 7 teams we have played so far were crap, 2 of them were playoff teams a year ago, 1 went to the superbowl, 1 more was in the Conference Championship game. And the final team missed the playoffs barely if I remember correctly because of injuries! SO HOW WAS OUR SCHEDULE SUPPOSE TO BE EASY UP UNTIL THE BYE WEEK??? Take a look at our games remaining, I really still think we can win the division the way SD is struggling, and other key teams we have to face are as well. The competition is tricky but gets easier from here! Don’t pull any faith just yet fellow die-hard fans!!
    GO BRONCOS!!

  32. thundersrevenge says:

I love the passion that gets thrown around here!

Here’s what I mean by “easy”.

    1. Oakland- crap
    2. KC- should have been crap
    3. S.D.- Norv Turner is ruining that team. Everyone in the NFL knows it and is waiting for the wheels to come off the bus.
    4. N.O.- Dr. Jekel/Mr. Hyde. Any well rounded, solid team should come up with a win. (We Did)
    5. Tampa Bay- Denver dumped Griese years ago. Why would anyone think that a change in uniform would change his play.
    6. Jacksonville- mediocre offense, should have been a win
    7. New England- Without Brady the Denver D ate up their offensive line, AND WE STILL DIDN’T WIN!!!

Out of the 7 teams we have played- 2 (New England and New Orleans) should have been a challenge and the rest we should have wiped off our cleats on the way back to the locker room! It really doesn’t matter what teams did last year, Play-offs/no play-offs, superbowl or not. The only thing that matters at the beginning of a new year is the talent and the injury report. Before monday night, Denver was winning in both of these colums against all teams that we have faced and are not dominating the AFC.

As jlalum01 said in the first post on this blog, we aren’t doing the fundamentals well (or at all) and that’s what’s killing us. If the little mistakes weren’t being made, only two games should have been nail bitters this half of the season for Denver.

I will NEVER give up faith, but I will admit when we are skating by at the top of the AFC west.

    GO ORANGE AND BLUE!!!!

  33. mark_cooper says:

You all never let me down…ever. I can’t say I disagree with almost anything that was said. Tough loss, but even tougher with the injuries…the injuries worry me more than the team getting their heads right. That will happen. Mike will assure that happens with a bye week.

Injuries can make for a mediocre team in the NFL, regardless of coaching and I know you’re saying…”ole Coops a homer” and he’s looking for an excuse. That’s not the case here. Early injuries around the league in the early weeks tend to eat up all the players that were cut late and or were on practice squads and just on the outside of the bubble in training camp.

Another crazy day in the NFL, so we have a week to get ready and heal a few guys up. Hey I’m adding a photo from the tournament in the Keys and Wade Boggs wasn’t there so I took the fly division but came in second to another friggin baseball sissy, Bill Hurst. I won on points but he caught more species than I did. I’ll see Boggs and Jim Kelly in a few weeks and a few others that I’ll share some photos wit you guys on. If the photos doesn’t show I’ll add it on another post.

  34. dbronc71 says:

Hey Cooper, when I look at the best teams in the NFL I see fire and passion in the players and coaches. The Broncos seem to be a very civilized-drinking-tea type of team. They don’t seem to have passion and discipline, they seem to be happy with the money they’re making and say “oh well” when they do bad things. Shanahan always has the “oh well” attitude. Come on!! That drives me crazy! Can you comment on that?? Is Shanahan lacking fire? Is he and the other coaches lacking the passion that filters down to the players?? Please fill me in. The MLB has fire but that’s about it. Cutler is just like Shanahan, “oh well”.

  35. mark_cooper says:

dbronc71, tough question because it’s an opinion that I don’t really share. I played for many types of coaches over the years from a great high school coach named Chris Vagotis that was shown on a TV special hitting players and yes in the day, I took a few shots from him. He’d walk up and hit you in the face mask to get your attention and grab you and jack you around a bit. But you know what, I love the guy to this day, still talk to him, try to get together with him for dinner when I’m in the Miami area. He really made a man out of me at a young age. He set expectations of our performance. Things are (QUITE) different today.

Then Lou Saban and his staff recruited me to Miami, very loud, emotional, screaming at times type of coach. He’d toss projectors in film rooms. He left after a year and Howard Schnellenberger, much like military General, very business like, professional, father figure took over the program. Never really yelled. All business like and when he spoke you listened or you were gone. Again, set expectations and expected performance or he’d find the right guy. Howard was the offensive coordinator on the Dolphins 17-0 team.

Then Dan Reeves, with Mike as the offensive coordinator and Alex Gibbs after Dan Radakovich (Bad Rad) he was called, as our line coach. Again very business like. You know what’s expected of you on and off the field and get it done or we’ll find someone to get it done. Alex was the opposite yelling and screaming during the game to get your attention. I like Mike a lot, perfect no, consistent yes!! Find me the perfect coach, doesn’t exist. My college roommate is the head coach at Georgia and he says things have changed over the years.

I played three more years under Ray Perkins and I could write a short story book about how crazy that place was to play. I broke up a fight between Ray and Ron Heller our right tackle in the lockeroom at half time in New Orleans my second week there.

So what I’m getting at is every coach has his own style and the players do too. Sometimes it doesn’t fit our/your personality.

If you have a chance next Friday November 7, listen to a radio show I’m co-hosting in the Florida Keys on http://www.KeysRadio.com then click on KEZY 96.9 and listen ive. I’ll be on with the Host Capt. Bill Kelly, Gary Dunn retired 12 yr Pittsburgh Steelers and Bruce Melnick, Space Shuttle astronaut. We’ll be talking football, the Redbone Charity tournament to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis that we’re there for and who knows what. Sure to be entertaining.
