Tebow, Quinn and Orton

May 20th, 2010 - 10:01pm by mark_cooper

Have to give the guys credit where credit is due….true professionals and I appreciate seeing it. Each has a role to play and a role to compete for, and may the best man win. Don’t bother reading the papers as they’re on a roll to create as much controversy as they can between the players and it’s almost comical.

Big news of the day came out of Miami, with our buddy Brandon and another hip surgery….wow, interesting?? and I mean in the way we all know Brandon. I stopped by his site and it said he’d been overseas in Thailand and the islands over there…hmmmmm.

O.K. back to the fellas:

Picture this: Second series “Opening Day”….backfield has Tebow, Orton or Quinn in the Wild-horse formation…..what does the defense do?

What do you all think..haven’t heard any of you crazies bring that up or even talk wild horse or a version of it.

I’m excited to see the progress of each as we move towards training camp…matter of fact pumped up. Everybody got their Tebow jersey yet?

I don’t know about you guys/gals but I hate this time of the year waiting for football. It is tarpon season and I’m going to head down to the Keys next month an see if I can get one to eat a fly.

Anyone remember K.C. Jones, he played center here behind Tom Nalen for a while and Ryan Clement local high school star at Mullen, then a Miami QB under Butch Davis? I’ll see those guys down in the Keys. Both played at the U…good guys.

Tell me I’m crazy about the wild horse??

I think it was Horten hears a boo.LOL

And I would love to see the WILD HORSES with Tebow at the helm.

Coop,I guess I’ll wait for a couple weeks to get my Tebow jersey, since it’ll be my Bday, and I told the old lady that’s what I wanted, can’t ruin her surprise.LOL

We line up,Tebow at QB,Moreno and Buck in the power T,with Larsen in at FB,Hell who’s gonna run???or will we pass???the Defense will be stunned.

I think that regardless of the QB that McDaniels will substitute TEBOW
into the game on short yardage plays on 3rd and 4th down to get him some experience.

In Tebow’s Freshman year he shared snaps in the same fashion.

That was one of the first things I said! I hope that’s in the plans right now, because what will defenses do? I LOVE it!

    Go Broncos!!

Hey Coop!! Good to hear from you again. I think Tebow would be brilliant at the Wild Horse formation and honestly, I’ll be bold enough to say that if and when McD decides to go with the WH, I think Tebow will be the QB running it this season. I’m not talking a starting job but whenever McD decides to run a WH or when he wants to switch up the QB competition, I can see him putting Tebow in to get some play time, some experience and to run the Wild Horses. Gives me chills just thinking about it… shoot, I’m ready to see it!!! lol

As for the impossible-to-find jersey… I got one as a graduation gift!! So excited, it will definitely be a jersey worth keeping no matter what happens with Tebow & the Broncos. Bottom line, the guy is a class act and someone I respect a lot. But of course, I would love to see him be a Bronco his whole career given that he can produce the results we all want to see from the Broncos. I believe he can be the QB we’ve all been longing for since Elway. He’s got the potential, the talent, the will to be a better player, he’s got the leadership I want to see from a player and he’s the attitude on AND off the field that I want to see from anyone, football player or not. He’s closing in on being the whole package for us… now he just needs the NFL experience. He’ll get better with time… the more practice the better. I have high expectations for him but I’m not sitting in la-la land thinking we’re going straight to the SB with him as a rookie… it’s a nice thing to think about but I want to see how he handles NFL games. I think a ton of people are going to be surprised at how well he handles being in the NFL. He WILL defy his critics. I can hardly wait.

    Keep the faith Bronco Country…
    GO BRONCOS in 2010!!!!
