FTR, I used to do that with the fishes with the small single serving cereal size packages, you would keep it sealed until you got to the fishes and popped it open under water and there would be hundreds of fish tearing up at it, I remember big yellow snappers biting off my fingers, haha.

  2. baylinorcrush says:

Coop will love that, he loves fish stories… That was in Cozumel btw.

One special moment for me that year. I of course was living in Orange County California at the time. My family went to Pueblo Colorado for Christmas in 1977 to spend our Christmas vacation there. I got a ORANGE CRUSH DEFENSE T-SHIRT from my cousin. What a gift. If I knew then what I know now, I would have kept that forever. Boys will be boys.

  4. FTR says:

Thanks Bay on the DVD information I have all the old VCR crap.
That’s the days when all AFC west teams were good. We beat up on each other and games were always close. Even Seattle would be a player!! Lol

Tonights game at the half 7-7. I hope the Vikings pull this one out.

  6. OrAnGeCrUsH56 says:

i guess on the rumor section of espn has the broncos interested in Mike Mularkey? thoughts?

  7. strandoftds says:

Funny. I was looking at some Orange Crush Defense T-SHIRTS online. Memories. Might as well order one or two.

  8. OrAnGeCrUsH56 says:

does anyone know of any big name free agents that will be hitting market next year? i know champ is one but i dont know if there is really anyone we can target.

  9. FTR says:

Faders never in my book have been good! Back then they were good cheaters and cheap shot pros. They wrote the rules on how to get around the rules! I could write a book on why I hate the raiders. Sorry getting over excited on the past.

  10. FTR says:

    Bay LOL
Fish love that stuff! Wonder why– must look good or smell good huh?

  11. OrAnGeCrUsH56 says:

is lamarr woodley still going to be a free agent? He might be a decent pickup if he will be. also stephen tulloch is a possibility

  12. Broncos Born & Raised says:

I have to echo the sincere congratulations to Brandon Lloyd for a well deserved Pro Bowl roster spot. I will also echo the discontent that Bailey is not making the trip. We’re talking about a guy who’s been shutting down this year’s pro bowl receivers! All I’ve heard all year is how terrible the Patriots defense is and they have two guys going!? They just love to hate on the Broncos. Eff off, haters!

  13. strandoftds says:

I really haven`t seen the free agent market yet.

  14. Broncos Born & Raised says:

    Crush56,
I read a little bit about Murlarkey being a candidate in the Post today. Where can I find this on ESPN.com?

  15. Broncos Born & Raised says:

Thanks, Beast! To access the rumors section it would cost me $3.33/ month. Call me a cheapskate, but kill that noise haha. Crush 56, does your source have anyone from the Broncos organization claiming to be interested? I don’t know if yall read Paige’s article but it looks like the candidate list will be deep. All we have to do is not screw this up haha.

  16. Broncos Born & Raised says:

Here’s Paige’s article in case anyone is interested and hasn’t already read.

I too remember that 77 team and how many times I thought I was gonna have a heart attack watching them play. Did a little research and figured out why, the average point differential total was 11.88 points per game wins and losses largest margin of victory was 23 with 6 games decided by 8 or less points. I have been following the BRONCOS since 1972 (hence my moniker) and have learned one thing for sure, it has always been exciting and will always be exciting. By the way don’t know if I’m older than olderthandirt but I do have a year on Baylinor. Well enough ramblin. time to make my pick for SD 21-17 BRONCOS.

  18. Broncos Born & Raised says:

    Too Funny.

  19. strandoftds says:

Since1972 , I`ve got a Good old ORANGE CRUSH BOTTLE from 1977. This large bottle has all of the 1977 scoes of everygame including the playoffs and SuperBowl. One of my treasuers. So I got all the scores from 77.

  20. strandoftds says:

LMAO!! BLEEP!!!! Way to go Lloyd! Tell them how it is!

  21. strandoftds says:

Wow. Vikings just won the Eagles. Vikings now at 6-9. One less team to worry about wthat had 5 wins. I like it.

  22. 1nOnlyTRB says:

    amen to that strand

  23. strandoftds says:

Every little bit TRB. I`ll take.

  24. 07elway says:

Hey Coopster… It was a great win in the 2nd half by this Tebow-led team. First half was nothing to talk about let alone remember but they came out in full force, as usual, late in the game. But leave it to Tebow to actually pull out the win unlike Orton who has drastically faded since the start of the season. #15 is going to take this team places they haven’t been in years… so excited for what is to come (so long as TT is still on board). Not much I can say, as I missed the whole game as well due to the fact I’m stuck in KC territory and they find it humorous to leave Bronco fans deprived of any Denver games. Never been so p’od about the chiefs. Here’s the downside to living in a rival city. Bleh! lol

Watched all the highlights I could get my eyes on and surely enough, all Tebow critics will be (if they haven’t started to do so already) will be biting their tongue, cause this kid can definitely throw and be a successful NFL QB. All we need is a HC that will encourage him and put confidence in him. Someone who knows he’s capable of success in the NFL and will coach him/back him up willingly. We need another Shanahan-Elway thing going on. We got part 1, we need part 2 to all this.

Have a Happy New Year everyone & to you too, Coopster!!! Surely it will be better than this crap of a football season. Doesn’t get any worse than what we had to witness. Here’s to a better 2011!!!

    GO BRONCOS!!!!!

  25. tnalen66 says:

CONGRATS TO LLOYD AND BS FOR CHAMP!

  26. tnalen66 says:

Champ should of made the pro bowl. Look at what he did to Bowe and sims walker. As Happy as i am for LLoyd i am upset about Champ. He had a better year than all the other PRO BOWL Corners. Great win For TEBOW! This week should be a real test for Tebow. A Top ranked D. The Texas have the worst pass D so I was not too suprised to see him w/ 300 yrds.

  27. tnalen66 says:

Nolen HC, Kubiak for OC and Singletary for DC

  28. tnalen66 says:

    Broncos 23- Bolts 20

  29. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Kubiak HC, Rick Dennison (OC/OL coach), Nolan DC

Nolan has already proved he can’t get it done as a HC. Singletaries solution to everything is to yell…And while Kubiak hasn’t proved anything at the HC level…He is old school broncos through and through..and as long as he has a great DC and GMs/Elway making the major decisions…I think we will be good…This would truely make me happy…but all speculation…If not this a DC for HC who is not Nolan or singletary (both failed as HC in 49ers lol)

  30. 1nOnlyTRB says:

    Chargers 23 Broncos 27

  31. BeastFromEast92 says:

    I agree TRB.
    Kubiak,Dennison,and Nolan…although I doubt Nolan will leave unless it’s a HC job somewhere.Maybe Wade,or Fox as DC?

  32. BeastFromEast92 says:

    SD wins 31-24.

  33. sndvl says:

Coop- can’t believe no one told you?

THE RETURN OF MILE HIGH MAGIC!!!!

‘me gusta cervesas!’ happy new year!

GO BRONCOS and like I say at this time, DEFENSE for 2011

  34. sndvl says:

For Christmas I got a copy of ‘Denver Broncos The Complete Illustrated History’. Talk about a collectors item. I’m not even halfway through and all I can say is WOW. Still would love to have it autographed by the author! (hint, hint *)

    Congrats to Lloyd! Simply Awesome
I gotta call bull on Champ being snubbed. Wonder why he didn’t get the coaches/players nod? Conspiracy? Whatever. I voted once. Revis is oveRRated. And then a rookie? It’s a fix. Maybe NE/NY will be in the big one and this wrong gets righted!

    GO BRONCOS, DEFENSE in 2011
P.S- that includes Sundays game, technically

    27-24 Broncos

  35. sndvl says:

And lmao at OC from Rice blog. Happy new year Bronco Buddy! I can’t wait for the next father/son game at Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium in Broncos Country with the home base of Bronco Nation. Some retribution is in order!

  36. sndvl says:

Maybe Woody will show up to that one in a Tebow jersey?!?

  37. milehighmagic88 says:

Yeah, Champ was definitely snubbed. I just have to say that Revis is sooooo overrated it’s ridiculous. The guy is great at playing man coverage. But that is it. He is a below average tackler, he is undisciplined in zone coverage, I could go on and on. He is way overrated. If he played for us he’d get beat all the time since we can’t pressure the QB like the Jets can.

Bailey on the other hand does everything extremely well. He’s one of the few cornerbacks in the league who not only shuts receivers down, but also comes up and smacks running backs in the mouth in run support. It’s BS that he’s not in the Pro Bowl. But I heard he’s first alternate, which means if one of the CBs on the roster doesn’t go, Bailey gets in. So there’s still a chance he’ll get his 10th appearance. It’s just a shame so many football fans can’t appreciate a truly great player like Champ and actually vote him in.

But congrats to Lloyd! “Spiderman” definitely deserved every vote he got. It’s good to see a guy who’s been in the league for nearly a decade finally break through and become a star.

  38. milehighmagic88 says:

And remember when Revis got beat by our rookie receiver Demaryius Thomas for a TD earlier this year? HAHA!! Take that Revis!

He shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same sentence as Champ.

  39. BeastFromEast92 says:

    88,So true!

  40. sndvl says:

Remember when Revis shut down moss? Yeah neither do I. Lmao

  41. broncosmex says:

    mexico ftw :)

  42. broncos20 says:

    Greg Williams -HC
    Denni- OC
    Nolan or Lewis for- DC

Congratulations to Lloyd for making the Pro Bowl! “Human Highlight reel”

Bummer for Champ. I call foul! are you kidding? Revis and Namndi over CHamp????? I get McCourtey(he did well starting for Patriots). But Champ got snubbed.. How does Ed Reed make the list not playing more than half of the season?
    And Clady missing out too?

  43. bronco-blaze says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH GET EM LLOYD!

  44. caramelloo says:

I like Greg Williams as coach. I think he’s learned his lesson from his previous coaching stops. We need a coach with some type of Swagger!

  45. baylinorcrush says:

Greg Williams for HC has been my choice for weeks now.

  46. baylinorcrush says:

The ones who watched the game last night will know what I mean. Michael Vick got simply annihilated, the Vikings pressured him all night and delivered fierce hits all over his body, the man couldn’t throw, couldn’t run, looked scared, completely spent and utterly beat up, in essence he was completely done and out and my suggestion is we do him just like he did his spent dogs and put him down, but since that would be illegal, I guess we won’t and will let him live another day, something Vick never did.

I despise that man. As an animal lover I had to jump on this, what a low life, glad to hear he is seemingly a better person now, but is he really? Time will tell, glad he is not a Bronco, and I am also gladly finding out that his way of playing is absolutely not conducive into lasting the season and his will be cut short, his body has reached his limits and he will struggle from now on out, so happy to see that he will no longer be in the discussion for MVP, Brady is the one who rightfully will pick up this honor, he does it the way it should be done, the way that you can last in this league, from the pocket.

Something to seriously think about here Mr. Tebow…

  47. BeastFromEast92 says:

I’d like to see Kubiak and Dennison back in Denver, but I would have no problem with Greg Williams as HC,the guy knows Defense for sure!

  48. BeastFromEast92 says:

Bay,I seen on the news where Vick is trying to be able to own dogs again!

As far as Tebow staying in the pocket, doubt that will happen, even tho,as you say,you can last longer,Young had to retire because of concussions, something that goes with the territory, with a running QB.
