One Game at a Time

November 13th, 2007 - 12:27pm by mark_cooper

It’s funny how NFL seasons play out. One week it’s gloom and doom and the next week there’s hope.

The division is still up for grabs and the Chargers seem to be the team to beat after their game against the Colts, Sunday night.

Kind of reminds you of the Rockies during the summer. “Game by game” is the motto for this season as far as I’m concerned because that’s the way you have to take it regardless of how good or bad your playing.

The more time we get together, the better we’ll be. A few new faces at a few new spots is like moving chess pieces around the board until you find the right combination to win, right?

Tennessee Monday night will be another fun one that we can win to improve our postion, “One Game at a Time”.

By the way, I went to the last game in the Orange Bowl this past weekend. It was really weird seeing a stadium for the last time that I saw my first Professional game in and then played a few high school football games in and my entire college career.

It sent a chill up my spine walking off the field after the team ran on. One of those life-experiences…pretty cool.

The Titans will be extremely difficult to beat, but when we take advantage of red zone opportunites and get turnovers, we become one of the better teams in the league. Do these things and win, Broncos!

“Monday Night Under The Lights” in front of the Nation. If that doesn’t get your blood pumping, you’re already dead.

Monday nights were fun, remember the 1984 snow bowl against Green Bay with about three feet of snow. Or 1985, the snow ball game against San Francisco with the last minute field goal for the win and the fan, “11th MAN” in the South Stands that threw the snow ball in front of the holder & kicker for San Francisco as they kicked…..and missed!!!!!

I never did get a chance to buy that guy a beer :o )!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Let’s get PUMPED UP baby!!!!!!

    GO BRONCOS!!

    What do you say?????

Hey Mark , i was also at that game in 85. a good friend and i had tickets second deck 3 rows up from the railing right next to the wall where the eastside stadium moved back for baseball . We survived on HOT CHOCOLATE

SORRY HIT WRONG BUTTON we had hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps and hot coffee with kahula to stay warm, plus every bit of ski gear we could find on. Very cold nite Great game though. But that snowball came from the North stands probably thirty rows up we had a great view of that throw , could not of been a better timed or well placed snowball , thanks for jogging the memory.

MEMORIES………..fun stuff………..I know you stayed warm on that concoction…one of my favorites. There were snowballs flying all over that night but I’ve been hit in the the head a few times in the past so maybe I’m wrong.

I checked out a bunch of archive material and I goggled a bunch of stuff and can’t find anything that says where it came from. BUT my money’s on the South stands. I’ll call some of the fellas (teammates) and get a concensus.

SOOOOO, I’m going with the 275 rule. The guy that weighs 275 is right…………………and…………………that’s me. :o )

    Unless you’re confessing??
