$39.52 Million worth of new faces.
Goodman
Dawkins
JJ Arrington
Buchalter
Gaffney
Hill
Reid
Simms
Paxton
Fields
Davis
Jordan
I’ll need to do some research on most of these guys, but I know I can count on you all to help fill me in.
Monodono, I saw the article on Simms but wasn’t sure what you were looking at in it. I’m not a Simms fan because his Dad kept me from a Superbowl ring
). Just kidding, he’ll make a nice addition to the team. Now Simms’ fishing gear and accessories… some of the best stuff out there along with Scientific Angler and GLoomis rods. Couldn’t resist, sorry. You know how I like to flyfish.
O.K. I’ll stop being self serving……..nah.
I’m really curious what you all know about the $39+M dollar guys we just signed. Curious on your take other than maybe Dawkins, Arrington and Paxton.
Love to hear what your opinions are.

correction blum.. Williams can still horse collar
Yes, Belichick is a cheating peckerhead, so McDaniels needs to distance himself from the Patriot way. The Pats are cheaters and a-holes so we don’t need to emulate them. In any case, though, I like Dawkins and Darrell Reid as free agent acquisitions. Additionally, Lamont Jordan can be useful, although I would much rather have had Edgerrin James as in all likelihood the Cards will release him. In the draft, I think the Broncos need to get Rey Maualuga of USC and Richmond’s Lawrence Sidbury. Sidbury will be the steal of the draft if we can get him. Also, I don’t want to hear Tony Scheffler mentioned as trade bait. Both he and Dan Graham are excellent tight ends, so let’s keep them both. GO BRONCOS!!!
So Belechick got caught cheating. Know the only difference between him and the other 31 coaches? They haven’t got caught, yet. Talk about cheating, the whole league has been pissing and moaning about the way the Broncos chop block for decades. Are the Broncos cheating, do they go over the line on the chop block rules every now and then? Of course. Any team that isn’t streaching the rules and going beyond them isn’t trying to win. Like Al Davis says, “Just win, Baby!”. Tell me one team that doesn’t have one receiver brush block a defender so that the receiver behind him is wide open? Absolutely illegal, yet the refs NEVER, NEVER, NEVER call it.
look. we need to get over ALL the N E things.
the cheating thing–they got cought first thats all.
the “N E of the west”–3 players we will use this year and next. would you rather be EAST S.D.?
and the coach, big deal everybody is from somewhere. where is his ‘home town’?
two thumbs up OLDSOUTHSTANDER, well put.
Before i go… poeple are saying why didn’t we get ‘this guy’ or ‘so and so’ is better. they were FREE agents, they can pick where they go, did you ever think they did not want to come to Denver? most FREE agents want to go to a winning team. and lets face it when f/a signing started our furture didn’t look so good.
IMO and thats all I care about, the front office looked like pros the way they jumped into F/A. IT IS TIME TO START FRESH. we need to gel as fans so the TEAM can gel as the Denver Broncos
Sorry about such a negative post, yesterday was a bad day! I do like a lot of the signings but I do think you don’t want to many old guys, especially at the RB position. On the defensive side of the ball, old guys might be in the right place on the field but if they can’t keep up with anyone it won’t do us much good. I guess it’s only fair to wait and see what kind of team we end up with before we pass judgement on the signings. It will be very interesting to see who we draft.
I am happy about almost all of the signings, but I think they went overboard on the RB’s.
Hillis, Torrain, and Young can get the job done. I do like Kase78matt’s depth chart though, I like Hillis as a fullback; It’ll make one more guy for Jay to be able to gun it to. Peyton could be a nice option out of the backfield, and with Buckhalter’s nice receiving yardage last year, that adds two more options in the flats. They can send WR’s and TE’s downfield, taking CB’s and LB’s with them, leaving the area around the line pretty empty for the RB’s to catch and run. Mixing passes and runs like they’ll be able to with this stacked backfield will really help out their offense, too. And with Jay being forced to Throw as much, maybe his INT numbers will go down.
I guess I just talked myself into appreciating the overkill in the backfield!
I like some the signings, although some of them were redundant and had no definitive reasoning behind it.
Brian Dawkins-good sign
Andre Goodman-good sign
Reynaldo Hill-good sign(Sean Jones was available though
J.J Arrington-average sign
Lonnie Paxton-what was the point?
Jabar Gaffney-average(Nate Washington was available at the time)
Lamont Jordan-below average(Peyton Hillis was our big RB, also more elusive and durable)
Andre Davis-potentially good sign(pending on performance)
Correll Buckhalter-average(he is just as injury prone as all our guys we had last year)
Chris Simms-average(is he that much better than Patrick Ramsey?)
Dexter Reid-???
Ronnie Fields-???(I guess any DT was needed, but Grady Jackson was also available and Shaun Cody)
The trend here is that most of the free agents we signed outside of the Patriots organization were needs filled, as opposed to I want my guys in my system regardless of how well you performed last year. Nate Jackson, Mike Leach, Ekuban, Engleberger, Nate Webster. I don’t think these guys were the problem. The team was bad last year, on offense at times, on defense all the time, and also on special teams, but the players on this list shouldn’t have been released.
Anybody know what happened to Kyle Johnson, I’m so confused, he just disappeared off the team, I though he was pretty good FB.
I haven’t been this excited about our Defense since we still had Atwater and Mobley!
And our Offense!?! One if not all of the running backs that are fortunate enough to get a chance on the field are going to have a(ll) breakout season(s), I have a feeling…. Let alone the ridiculously superb passing game we’ll be able to get going.
As to all the naysayers about ‘bringing too many ex-Patriots’ – Once you become a Bronco – You BECOME A BRONCO – what WAS, is less meaningful than what IS, and what is to come…. So let’s not be all negative about our team, eh?
Funny I feel like that’s negative, asking other people NOT to be negative, but the wise will see the intent… Double E as I call him (Ekuban) and Webster are driving me mad that we haven’t re-signed them, but I have hope….As far as Kyle Johnson goes, I dont’ know, but I also thought Anthony Aldridge had some awesome potential and we only saw a few great plays from him and that was it as well…. Keep on rootin’ and remember, if you’re a Bronco fan, you have nothing to worry about!
Wow…all over the board and I have to take my hat of to oldsouthstander as you hit the nail on the head and EVERYONE should know that by now. It’s just the way it is…period.
BradJamesBroncoFan, I was surprised at your comments on the Pats? warthog2, funny comment and I agree with headlesshorseman that ColoradoCutler did break it down nicely, good job.
kase78matt, some of my first rods were ugly sticks and I still love them to this day for spinning gear but the GLoomis for flyfishing…..nice and fast.
It’s early we have ways to go before the draft so it will be interesting and where’s Mondono….on vaction…now it’s my turn to bust on him for being gone.
The age issue on any of the guys doesnt bother me at all as it’s an addition to a young lockeroom that could use the experience.
So how about some early predictions for the broncos record next year. Tough schedule and the D probably doesn’t get fixed in one year or we’ll all be eating crow served by coach McDaniels. I’ll be good with that too…by the way.
Whatdaya THINK? Do we win 9-10 games??
milehighmagic88,
My belief is that Past Performances gets you a SHOT on another team in case you become a free agent or are outright released, but just because you may have had 15 sacks or 100 receptions the previous year means nothing the next year. especially with a team you haven’t done it for.
In my opinion signing Free agent is just as much a crapshoot as the Draft. How many hot shot Free agents have we seen come through Denver, coming off a Pro Bowl Caliber previous year with a different team, only to go bust when they get here? Javon Walker anyone?
It’s a ” I know what you did last year but what have you done for me lately?” League, I hate to say it but that’s the way it is.
Hey there Mark remember Slicks buddy. Big Eaters win the big games don’t ya know. If the beef is there the wins are double figures oh ye of little hair.
The broncos new head coach should be fired and they should bring back Mike Shanahan because McDaniels is dividing the locker room I know you are a new head coach and you are trying to motivate your quarterback but he did it in a wrong way he did not try to give Cutler a try. Alot of fans ran Shanahan out because he did not make it to the playoffs but look at what we got now a new head coach who was already trying to trade our quarterback and did not even play one game with him. Shanahan may have messed up at the end but he did a damn good job in the begining the coach we got now needs to be sent on his way because alot of us fans were very upset with how he even thaught about even trading Cutler. If we have to choose out of Cutler and McDaniels we will choose Cutler every time.
First let me say I like Leach as good off the field as he is on(his work with childrens hospital was outstanding) that said Paxton was signed as our LS because in addition to being an excellent LS he is an very good tackler that is why he is he a better option than Leach.Covrage on special teams (and we did need to improve in that area) he is small for OL even for ours but speed down the field and tackling is what Paxton brings to the table.(And a back up LB.) Not supportive of over spending for him but that is why we made the move in my oppion. And to go out on a limb we at least win 10 games prob. 11 with the scedule and a week div. and with the power of the offence, a decent(not great) D gets us to the playoffs
Hmm, could’ve sworn I posted something on here like the day this blog was put on but I can’t remember.
Anyhoo, I LOVE the signing of Dawkins… our defense will be freakin’ awesome!!!! Can’t wait for that to change. If we really must need a “full-time” RB, I like Arrington… I guess.
Can’t really concentrate on writing something right now. I wanted to tell you Coop – just got back from a 5 day trip up to Canton… went and saw the Hall of Fame – TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coolest thing ever and I got my picture with Elway, haha!!! Yea me!!! I also got to see the the SB rings we have… WOW!!!!!! That’s all I can really say about them, I can only imagine how sweet it would be to wear one of those. That place was awesome… I’m still sitting on cloud 9. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s never been there. I am one happy Bronco lovin’ girl!!!!
With faith…
GO BRONCOS in ’09!!!!
Y didnt we sign benjarvus green-ellis instead of Jordan lol. i hope we pick up a rookie RB like 5th or 6th round. im not concerned bout all these NE signings if ur a head coach and ur bringing a brand new O to a team that has fans like us the last thing u wanna do is have a bad season on O so to assure he wont look bad he brought guys who know his scheme in case our guys dont pick it up fast enough gaffney can help eddie and the brandons. same with jordan and we already had ghram. not to worry were not NE we are clearly the DENVER BRONCOS and forever i will be a fan!!!
We have a tough schedule, but if Marshall isn’t suspended, Jay is still our QB, Hillis is starting, and the new defense is paying off, I definitely think we can win our division.

are you people kidding me? I thought we support the Denver Broncos not jay cutler. give me a break. If all you bandwagon fans who love Cutler want to jump ship when/if he gets traded..then by all means get your life jacket. I’m a DIE HARD denver broncos fan. The whole team. I support the team when it’s down, makes bad decisions, what not. I’m all for making this team better. We’ve been average for the past 3 years. Un-freak’n-acceptable. Time to stir the pot. Nobody on this team is untouchable. And I state=TEAM. That’s what the fans of CO support. The whole team. Not 1 pre-madonna player w/great God given talents. I’m happy there are still a strong contingent of loyal BroncoManiacs. Stay strong. be safe. and Keep the Faith. punches n bunches….
Thanks Friends!
#21 Goodman, Andre’ CB 5′ 10″ 190 30 8th yr. A 16-game starter for Miami in 2008, Goodman led the club with a career-high five interceptions (53 yds.) and 19 pass breakups while adding 39 tackles (33 solo) that season. His interception and pass breakup totals tied for sixth and seventh, respectively, in the NFL. Goodman’s 55-yard interception return and five pass breakups in the Dolphins’ 38-31 win at Kansas City on Dec. 21 helped propel them to a playoff berth.
Sounds like a pretty good replacement for Dre Bly but He will need support from The DL and Safeties just like Dre did I hope this happens~!
The Cutler is a non issue to me now.
Bus Crook is playing Devils advocate and if Cutler wants to follow his car salesman agent then I hope he takes him to Detroit that would poetic.

#20 Dawkins, Brian S 6′ 0″ 210 35 15th yr. In 2008, Dawkins started all 16 games for the third time in the last four seasons and registered a team-high six forced fumbles along with the third-most tackles (142) for the Eagles. Named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for December, Dawkins was selected to the Pro Bowl and helped Philadelphia advance to the NFC Championship Game for the fifth time in his career.

#31 Arrington, J.J. RB 5′ 9″ 212 26 6th YR. Arrington owns 114 career kickoff returns for 2,694 yards (23.6 avg.) with two touchdowns. In 2008, Arrington saw time in 11 regular-season games with three starts and all four postseason contests for the Cardinals, who won the NFC West title and advanced to Super Bowl XLIII. He rushed for 187 yards on 31 carries with one touchdown and tied a career high with 29 receptions for 255 yards with one score during the regular season. He also returned 36 kickoffs for 923 yards (25.6 avg.) with a 93-yard touchdown return.
I think He will make a good addition to the back field rotation, and may actually have that break out year every RB dreams of with our OL!( If The Broncos run a little more on 1st down!)
TIME OF POSSESSION ! ! !
GO BRONCOS ! ! !
#28 Buckhalter, Correll RB 6′ 0″ 217 30 10th yr. In 2008, Buckhalter played 14 games (2 starts) for Philadelphia and registered 76 rushes for 369 yards (4.9 avg.) with two touchdowns along with a career-high 26 receptions for 324 yards (12.5 avg.) with two scores.
Most of my friends think He will be the starter in 09, I have my doubts. I think His best years have passed but should do well with a rotation and will bring some cometition in the returns dept. We will see if He actually makes the cut to 53.
TIME OF POSSESSION ! ! !
GO BRONCOS ! ! !
#10 Gaffney, Jabar WR 6′ 1″ 200 28 9th YR. In 2008, Gaffney saw time in 16 games (7 starts) for the Patriots and posted 38 receptions for 468 yards (12.3 avg.) with two touchdowns. He registered a career-best five receiving touchdowns and had 36 catches for 468 yards (12.3 avg.) for New England in 2007, appearing in every game (8 total starts) and helping the club to the first 16-0 regular-season record in NFL history en route to advancing to Super Bowl XLII.
During the Patriots’ playoff run in 2006, Gaffney became the first player in league annals to post back-to-back 8-catch, 100-yard receiving efforts in the postseason. He had eight receptions for 104 yards against the Jets (1/7/07) in an AFC Wild Card Game before adding 10 catches for 103 yards against the Chargers (1/14/07) in an AFC Divisional Playoff Game.
He also has appeared in six career postseason games (4 starts) and has made 25 catches for 282 yards (11.3 avg.) with three scores in those contests.
This guy has IT! I hope We see some good connections with Him and Jay if Jay gets off His high horse! Great signing!

GO BRONCOS ! ! !
#23 Hill, Renaldo S 5′ 11″ 205 30 10th yr. The more I read on Renaldo the more I like Him. Very consistent and mature! I hope He’s that guy who teaches the young players. In 2008, Hill was a 15-game starter and saw time in every game for the Dolphins, tying for third on the club with 74 tackles (59 solo). His three interceptions (34 yds.) that year also tied for second on the team.
TIME OF POSSESSION ! ! !
GO BRONCOS ! ! !
#95 Reid, Darrell DL/LB 6′ 2″ 288 26 5th yr. Although Reid has mainly played ST He may be that guy at OLB The Broncos are looking for. He will get a chance to compete, if anything He is an upgrade to ST’s. We will see if He makes the cut to 53.
Reid has appeared in all 16 games in each of the last two seasons and had 19 tackles (11 solo) along with two sacks (12 yds.) and 11 special-teams stops for the Colts in 2008. His 21 special-teams tackles for Indianapolis in 2007 were a team high and tied for second in the NFL.
Reid also posted a team-high 45 special-teams tackles in the regular season during his four seasons with the Colts. The defensive tackle has seen time in seven career playoff games, including the Colts’ Super Bowl XLI win against Chicago during the 2006 season.

if jay gets traded maybe the broncos will have the second best defense and the 28th ranked offense jay needs to play for the bears he would be apprecited there josh leaves jay no choice i want shanny back .
MONODONO I DONOT CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE BRONCOS. for now.
HOW IS THE BABY???????
Does any of this matter when it appears the new coach is willing to trade Jay Cutler? As far as I am concerned what made Denver great was John Elway because he was the most exciting QB of his day and like a great magician he could always dazzle you with a new trick. Jay is set to emulate John if he is given the chance but bringing in a risk manager is not what the Broncos are all about. They are the Manchester United of American Football where it is not just good enough to win you have got to win with style and exciting football.
It does not make sense to make all these trades if you are still contemplating changing QB. Is it possible that the new coach is all face and no substance? If winning is so important you do not tear down a great offence just because you did not build it. The offensive running system has always been something that has set Denver apart. Is he going to change that too?
As time goes by it is becoming more obvious that the winds of change in Denver may not be for the best because the whole philosophy of the organisation appears to have changed. Do Broncos’ fans really want a totally different type of team that will bear no resemblance to Broncos’football but be a clone of the Patriots?
The most important factor in managing a professional sports team is man management and McDaniels is not in the same league as Coach Shanahan. No wonder Jay fears for the worst. It may well be that Bowlen has blown it. I hope not but I NEVER trust a secretive organisation and if you have been taught by a cheater you are likely to turn into one.
So there you have it. The dye is cast and there are so many questions left to be answered. Like all Broncos’ fans I am afraid that the results may be something that a large number of us will be unhappy with. I hope I am proved wrong.
Thanks for the concern texark-fan, My Granddaughter is 18 months old and was losing weight, acid reflux, constant retching and they didn’t know why and had to force feed her so they installed a feeing tube into her stomach with an attachment plate on her chest and a drain tube at the bottom of her stomach. When they did the procedure they found she had a herniated esophagus so they put 2 sutures in it and did a soft wrap with the stomach. Horrible thing to go through but I’m happy to say she is doing better and she has taken this way better than I could’ve. Life is so precious and here we are worried about Jay Cutler…….
Any way she is out of the Hospital and doing better! THANK YOU.
#2 Simms, Chris QB 6′ 4″ 220 28 7th yr. Simms will be a good back up to Jay Cutler if He shows up monday. Simms suffered a season-ending injury in Game 3 of the 2006 schedule. On Sunday, September 24, he was taken off the field after taking hard hits from the Carolina Panthers defense. Simms returned to the game and even led a successful scoring drive, but remained in physical distress and was taken to a nearby hospital after the game. Tests revealed a ruptured spleen, and Simms immediately underwent emergency surgery. In the aftermath, Simms said he lost five pints of blood before the operation and conceded that another 45 minutes without treatment could have been fatal. Though not proven, it has been suggested that the injury was caused by an illegal hit from Al Wallace who was later fined by the NFL.[10] Simms has become a spokesman in the Tampa area for blood donations.[11] The injury ended Simms’s season.
I had really high hopes for Chris coming out of collage but He really hasen’t had enough time to mature with His injuries and some of the Coaching He has had to deal with.
This is a good signing if Jay sticks around.
TIME OF POSSESSION ! ! !
GO BRONCOS ! ! !
#66 Paxton, Lonie LS 6′ 2″ 260 30 10th yr. probably the most controvesial signing in the off season especially after Mike Leach asked to be released, and The TEAM gave Him #66 but I like Him. I think He is more versatile and has more playoff experience than Mike Leach.
For his career, Paxton has played in 141 regular-season games and 14 postseason contests while seeing time in every game during eight of his nine NFL seasons. He has not missed a game in the last five seasons, handling long-snapping duties for the Patriots in 80 consecutive regular-season games and 91 overall games in a row dating back to the start of the 2004 campaign.
A key member of the Patriots’ Super Bowl-winning teams during the 2001 (XXXVI), ’03 (XXXVIII) and ’04 (XXXIX) seasons, Paxton owns 14 career special-teams tackles in the regular season and three such stops in the playoffs.
Paxton was a four-year starter along the offensive line and served as long snapper for Sacramento State from 1996-99. He attended Centennial High School in Corona, Calif., and was born on March 13, 1978.
Paxton was signed as a UFA by the Denver Broncos on February 27, 2009 to a five-year, $5.5 deal that includes a $1 million signing bonus. The deal makes Paxton the second-highest paid long snapper in the NFL, slightly behind Cleveland Browns Ryan Pontbriand.

#91 Fields, Ronnie DT 6′ 2″ 315 27 5th yr. I think Mike Nolan must know something about this guy that no one else does, because I cant find anythig special about Him any where. His BIO is average.
Fields appeared in every game for the 49ers during each of the last two seasons and registered 28 tackles (18 solo) for the club in 2008. A year earlier, he posted a career-high 39 tackles (14 solo) along with one sack and one forced fumble with San Francisco.

monodono it sounded like you and yours went threw hell for awhile. glad to hear she is better or rather she is going to get better. will pray for her.
yo monodono. I hope your family is doing well. thanks for all the stats about the FA’s. I like Dawkins. I think he’ll give us 2-3 good years. Just like lynch did. Not sold on Hill (you seem to like him). He seems like a player the coaching staff is always try’n to replace. He reminds me of a poor man’s Nick Ferguson (I was a huge fan of him), but not as physical. I think once the Smoke clears it’ll be Hillis+JJ in the backfield. JJ seems to have that burst we’ve been missing. He can take it to the house. Hillis is a BEAST!!! He reminds me of Alstott. Not a fan of CryBaby Cutler. I hope we trade him+take our chances w/Simms. punches n bunches
Glad to hear she’s doing much better monodono… such a horrible thing for a someone to go through at such a young age. I’ll keep praying for her and your family. No one deserves to go through something like that.
And trade Cutler… are you out of your mind, broncomaniac4life??? We’re not being told what Cutler’s real reaction is. All this is, is speculation of what he might be thinking and blah blah blah. He is no crybaby like someone else (Rivers) we know. He’s got every right to be upset but its not like he’s trying to pull off a cry-like-Rivers-in-public scenario. Ya know I got to thinking about that… if Cutler really is upset about it, that just tells me how badly he wants to be in Denver. Why else would he be angry over trade rumors… he must be happy with being apart of this organization and he must be happy with his pay. His pay should be the last thing on his mind but he must be happy with how things have turned out for him in Denver otherwise why else would he want to stay. There was never a sign of him wanting to leave till more rumors went buzzing about this trade crap and apparently he wanted out. No need to anger our QB and then have to start all over on offense… its ridiculous. Okay so I tried really hard not to say anything about this but I couldn’t help it. Bottom line – as far as I’m concerned anything reported about this outside this website or officials of this organization is pure speculation and gossip.
With faith…
GO BRONCOS in ’09!!!!
YOU ARE IN OUR PRAYERS MONODONO,
I HAVE FAITH SHE’LL PULL THROUGH!!!
texark-fan, Thanks for your prayers.
broncomaniac4life, don’t get me wrong about Hill I actually am not sold on His skills on the field yet. He’s one of the UFA’s I have my dounts about. It’s just the more I read about Him the more I like Him. The thing about BIO’s and news letters and articles they’er either a sales pitch or really negative and you have to filter through all that and make a guess. I see positive things about Him and I’m optimistic He will teach some of the young players how to get through a season and go on to have good careers. I also think The Broncos may pick up S William Moore 6-1/223/ SR- Missouri in the second round if they can pick up NT B.J. Raji 6-2/334/ SR- Boston College or Brian Orakpo 6-4/260/ SR- Texas some how in the first round. If They do Hill will be a good asset. We shall see. Just for the record I totally agree with your assesment of His skills on the field.
07elway, thanks for your thoughts, Serenna is the quiet and happy type and I never saw her cry till then. when she woke up she instantly had a smile on her face like nothing ever happened She is amazing! Thank you. With Faith…

Thanks 1Arabianknight! She will be on the feeding tube for about 2 months but the prognosis is very good.
#54 Davis, Andra LB 6′ 1″ 250 30 8th yr. The Broncos actually have a typo on His Bio Davis led the Browns with a career-high 207 tackles (119 solo) as a 16-game starter for the club in 2005.
When actually In 2005 Davis recorded a career high and team leading 149 tackles, which led the team. His best game came against the Green Bay Packers on September 18 when he recorded 20 tackles. On November 20 he was named the AFC Defensive Player of the week after recording 14 tackles in the 22-0 win over the Miami Dolphins.
He finished his career with the Browns starting 83 of 105 games, recording 641 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and 8 interceptions. He did have a knee injury on 2004 but it looks like He’s recoverd well. Great signing! I look forward to seeing Him next to DJ Williams in the middle.

#32 Jordan, LaMont RB 5′ 10″ 230 30 9th yr. I remmember Him well as a Raider. A 14-game starter with Oakland in 2005, Jordan’s 1,588 yards from scrimmage (1,025 rushing, 563 receiving) that season tied for the ninth-highest total in the NFL. His 70 receptions led all NFL running backs for the year and represented the third-highest single-season mark by a Raiders running back in club history. He’s not the same running back He was then But I think He will do well in a rotation if He makes the 53man cut.
In 105 career regular-season games (29 starts), Jordan has totaled 872 rushes for 3,648 yards (4.2 avg.) with 28 touchdowns along with 158 receptions for 1,301 yards (8.2 avg.) with three scores. He also has returned 33 career kickoffs for 667 yards (20.2 avg.).

#87 Bergen, Adam TE 6′ 4″ 267 25 3rd yr. Not finding alot out there on Him but it looks like He had His best years with Arizona.Undrafted in the 2005 NFL Draft, Bergen signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent. In 2005, he played in all 16 games the Cardinals that year, starting nine, and caught 28 passes for 270 yards and one touchdown.
In 2006, he played in 14 games, starting seven, and caught 15 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown. He was placed on the IR after week 14 due to a knee injury. I would like to know more about His knee injury but can’t find anything.
In the 2007 offseason, Bergen signed with the Dallas Cowboys. He was released on September 1 prior to the regular season and spent the year out of football.
On July 22, 2008, Bergen was signed by the Baltimore Ravens. He was released on August 30, 2008.

#60 McChesney, Matt G 6′ 4″ 307 27 4th yr. He signed with The Broncos as a Guard but Many of you may know Him from CU. At Colorado, McChesney earned honorable mention All-Big 12 Conference honors as a DEFENSIVE tackle during his senior season. He received the Dave Jones Award as the team’s most outstanding defensive player.
McChesney’s NFL game action came as a rookie with the New York Jets in 2005 when he posted three tackles in three games played as a defensive lineman. He entered the NFL with St. Louis as a college free agent on April 29, 2005.
The guard spent his first three professional seasons (2005-07) with the Jets and also earned All-NFL Europa honors in 2007 while helping the Frankfurt Galaxy advance to World Bowl XV. He began the 2008 season on the Jets’ practice squad before signing with the Dolphins’ practice squad on Sept. 23. He competed on the Dolphins’ practice squad and saw time in one game for the club last season before he was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 15. not sure what the injury details are.
I’m glad to see more Colorado boy’s on The TEAM but I’m not sure were He will end up on the OL or the DL or if He will even make the 53man cut. But it sounds like He is very versitile and that is one of the buzz words these days in Broncos Nation.

no # Parker, J’Vonne DT 6′ 4″ 325 26 4th yr. He entered the NFL with the Browns in 2005 as a college free agent from Rutgers University.
Nothing I have found screams “This guy is special” except His size is perfect for NT. I’m glad The Broncos brought Him in for that reason alone. The Broncos need a NT that can comand Double teams on every down. I’m not saying He’s the one but at bare min He should be able to rotate in. Once again we will see if He makes the 53man cut.
