Did anyone know how to spell the kickers name, because I had to cheat? Nice drive at the end of the game for the win. Tough injuries and like we’ve SAID….hmmmm they keep piling up and they hurt with DJ and Bunkley out for a while. DEPTH kills when you don’t have it. But boy do I like the intensity.
Was all day at a Pee Wee (Faulkner) football tournament and our 12 year olds did well and I’m proud of our Creek Royal team. We took some lumps today as a team and it’s funny/interesting to watch players figure it out and get better. Same in Pee Wee as the Pro’s promise.
Liked the pass pro I saw with the ones and again someone made the comment that it’s only Seattle but one more with Arizona and we have RAIDER WEEK coming. Those of you that have been around know how I dislike preseason. The tempo picks up quite a bit as the regular season opens.
What’s on your minds along the lines of our defense with Doom and Milller???

I dissagry kearly … Cox has had some great plays … and then he has had some bad ones … like the game against buffalo … in the endzone got beat on a curl route and then the next time, he swated it down like a champ (not that champ lol) … I believe it was Bay who said, “just like his personal life, he is inconsistent, good and bad”.

Clearly there are some uber fans out there who voted a million times, for 1, Adrian Peterson isn’t the most elusive, he is the best period, but I believe that shoulda gone to Jamaal Charles and Larry Fitz? come on … the man can do it but Blloyd is way better. And speed shoulda gone to Chris Johnson hands down, man has had the fastest 40 in history … nuff said. Just thought I’d let yall know Blloyd aint win in case no one covered that. TRB
Is anyone else worried about Eddie Royal??? I liked him as a rookie and he played a great first year, but I’ve been disappointed for a few years now (with his hands most of all). It seems like he can’t make the big catches especially in traffic (maybe he’s just too little)!!!
I HOPE I’m wrong and he has a great year, but I’d preffer to move Decker to the number two and perhaps Matthew Willis or D Thomas to the 3rd spot!
I do HOWEVER like Eddie as a PUNT & KICK returner and feel confident in his desicion making ability within Special Teams!

You have to admit that it’s pretty sad that you’re giving the guy credit for a great play when he simply recognized that they were running the exact same play they’d smoked him on earlier. Here’s a guy who really stepped up last year when Goody was banged up. No way the guy from last year would have gotten beat the first time around by Buffalo. I actually think he’s gotten worse from week to week (again, maybe something to do with the legal stuff)…

I think Eddie Royal has the talent to be a big part of the offense – kinda like Desean Jackson in Philly. Unfortunately, his biggest problem is that he hasn’t been able to stay healthy since his first year. While I admit to being a bit concerned about the drop on Saturday (not easy, but very catchable), I am encouraged by the catch and run he had later in the game. More than anything, I think he’s just got some rust to knock off that was left over from the latest surgery. Hopefully, he can stay healthy this year and maybe produce like he did his rookie season.
BTW — while I like his returning abilities, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t try not to have to use him there in an effort to keep him from getting banged up again. Looked a lot like they were auditioning punt returners on Saturday…
Thanks for the get well strand,as far as Cox goes,we’ll be just fine with Champ,Goody,Vaughn,Syd,and Bing….maybe we pick up another CB off waivers,I’m not gonna worry about Cox,what he done was horrible and he needs to pay for it,imo.
So far Vaughn has showed a lot of promise,but we’ll see when he goes up against some of the top WRs this year,AND we will see a lot of them with our schedule!!!

I see a 10-6 season. That’s my prediction.
I mean, I thought we had an 8 win team last year, and maybe we would have if we hadn’t lost Doom. We had no pass rush. And doom is a solid all around player. He is good against the run too. Even so, we almost beat a couple quality teams like the jets.
With Von DOOM, a better defensive scheme in general, a much better run game, and a well established passing game, I see no reason we can’t have an excellent year. Mind you my prediction is contingent upon our starters staying healthy.
The packers and the pats are the toughest teams on our schedule (maybe the chargers too, but thats divisional). Bears are tough, but with their weak line, we might be sacking Cutler 9 times or so. Would love seeing Cutler getting rag dolled by our pass rush.

As far as the game…… Our offense still scares me but the Defense scares other teams. I was jumping off of the sofa watching them in my Broncos Zone!! had to plug that in, hahaha.

I feel he isn’t playing as good as last year as well … and whether he recognized the play after he had been burnt by it once, he recognized it. In a preseason on a learning tip, I appreciate that he learned and adjusted. Some DBs woulda gotten torched again. I said he was up and down, not the next champ or anything. TRB
Alex, I`m really not religious either.
I believe this team is much improved in several areas. I love the defense and the swarming tackling we are seeing. I believe the offense is improved starting with the line, tight ends and running backs. I believe we can go 10-6.

Wow, one at 11-5 and most arounf 7-9 or 9-7 and a few 6-10 and one as low as 5-11?
I’m saying 7-9 and would like to be more optomistic but we’ve already lost a few guys and if we get the injury bug even a little and I think the change up of the new CBA and no OTA’s prior we will see some more….only a gut prediction.
Who was it that had McCoy on the block in preseason already…..come on???
