I guess some fans here are about as smart as the people in charge of the worst NFL franchise ever. If anyone thinks we should get D. Hall now that he’s been cut from the Raiders, you deserve all the sorrow and pain you get from watching the Broncos. Wow, geniuses.

Sounds like a great charity event and a great cause Coop. I hope you catch ‘em all. Bonefish are fun to catch. Always caught ‘em with squid or finger mullet when I lived in FL though. Red drum that way too. Must be a challenge with flies.
Always fun to read the comments here. I agree with some. Some are rediculous. The running game mentioned….absolutely we need to find a way to run better. Don’t think for a second that we don’t miss the anchor….Tom Nalen. Not to dog Weig….he does pretty well. But Tom was the anchor and communicator…..especially for those stretch plays in the ZBS we are famous for. I know we’ll find a way to get there with the run. Set up play fakes and open everything else up. Hopefully Ryan the Train shines tomorrow. Sacks on Quinn would be nice too.
Don’t hurt Woody too bad Coop….he is just a silly journalist after all.

HEY, where you all been. I thought is was going to be just me and Monodono this week all by ourselves then today BAM everyone shows up today. Where you been??? Slackers )

Thanks for chimming in and (as usual) I got a few giggles from you. Lots and lots of opinions and that’s why we’re here. I leave in the AM so I’ll watch the game in the Keys and try to find a hotel computer where I can comment on Friday or Saturday. We fish (one fly pattern) in a fly only tournament Friday, one-on-one with a guide against the field, then Sat/Sun I have a high school buddy Jeff Roberts and we fish as a team. Bonefish and Redfish are the species for this tournament

Again, short week so we’ll see what happens in Cleveland…..oh yea on the Browns name…good question. Anyone know where that came from, I guess I never thought of that.

Hopefully we can tweak the D a little get some guys some action that will have to step up and be counted on.

I have faith in Cutler, he’s been shaken a little lately but what QB hasn’t watching around the league, he’s learning. Is it me or have there been a rash of injuries around the league (more than usual) this year. Maybe it’s just me or the games I watch.

By the way I may have to slap Woody Paige the next time I see him about the article he wrote in the paper today…geesh.

Gary Dunn and I go way back. He played at the U before me and we met when I was a junior working at a marina next to the old Miami Marine Staduim on Key Biscayne. It’s a long story and I’ll tell it one of these days, but I blew out a bicep tendon in Pittsburgh hitting him late after the ball was thrown on one of Elways designated scramble plays we use to run. I was trying to get bragging rights for the summer as Gary and I use to train together.

I never told him (just shot it up for the next 6-8 weeks) until after we retired and you should have heard him go off about it (how he knew it) which he didn’t but he has now come up with one of the funniest stories that gets (bigger and better) every time we do a radio show together.

He’s the brother I never had and our families & kids are real close and we talk every week. One of the funniest guys I know too, so tune in, sit back, grab a drink and get a laugh or 3!! I never really have grown up, keep that a secret. Gary, Jim Kelly and I mistreated our little astronaut buddy one night on his birthday, so you might hear that story too. We over served him.

hey coop i just think we go out and play hard with who is healthy and hope for the best. i really think overall the defense played well sunday. this year is not over when things get rough we need to get tough and have soom fun lets see everyone of our players smile and finish this year stong lets play hard for champ hall and pittman. im behind you guys 100 percent go broncos

Detroit Reggie is an idiot. The Charges are full of pathetic whiney fans, so go to their website. Cutler is not the problem, nor is he regressing as you put it. He is young and has a lot of maturing to do, just like every other QB in this league. Look at our time of possession in that game compared to Miami. How many running plays did we have versus passing plays? No QB in the league or past QB would be successful without any type of running game. We were one dimensional that game and the Miami defense took advantage of it. We are a young team and we need time to grow and mature in every aspect of the game, which includes our offensive line. I sick and tired of so called fans like Detroit Reggie bashing on this team, players and coaches. Since when did Broncos fans become a bunch of spoiled sissies. This team has some great young talent and once we add a few more pieces to the puzzle combined with a little more experience and maturity, look out! The so called fans that want to bash this team, I’m sure the Pats or Charges want another fan like you.

I agree, the offensive problems come down to not having a running game. And with so many teams following the Broncos lead from past years, many are now running a zone blocking scheme. Because of that, defenses are seeing it more often and game planning well for it. I think the league has finally caught up to Shanny’s scheme and an avg running back is no longer an effective option. Hopefully Torain can be that franchise back the Broncos so desperately need!!

yo mississippi reading your blog out loud would make anyone sound like tarzan. let me guess in mississippi you dont have to attend school you just have to work the fields with your paw. at least you have a computer or did you go to the library and use theres. Hall would be a upgrade to what we have now as long as we dont have to sign him for a huge contract like the raiders did. i read on usatoday that the raiders are going to cut some more players soon and one of them is there saftey gibril wilson. i would love to get that guy we need a saftey bad. sign hall and wilson and cut dre and mcree, if the raiders want to dump all there players and start over im all for it. i would rather sign guys that start for a team then the guys we are picking up off the street that cant even make a team. with hall, wilson, champ and a first round saftey draft pick we would be set with our dbs. im probably dreaming but right now thats all we bronco fans can do is dream

Cutler is regressing, I have been watching him, many of his passes are either under or over thrown he is missing his target,

in lots of cases his WR is reaching or turning around to make the catch, look at NFL weekly replay the INT to Stokley was well short, most of his pics is that way,

Don’t take my word which you do not, just watch Thursday and you will see how many open WR he will miss.
