Draft Day — Two First Rounders

April 25th, 2009 - 5:11pm by mark_cooper

Thought this posted over the weekend but didn’t, so it’s Monday morning and I’m adding to this.

Knowshon Moreno, running back, Georgia. If you were reading this blog last week I mentioned, if he was on the board, could you pass him up? Stink and all the local radio and TV guys are saying they are shocked. I like the pick even though I know, like the rest of you, we need defense.

Tough to pass up on a guy that could be a 1,000 yard rusher and a great pass blocker, a certain three-down player. Tough guy. I watched him a bunch as I mentioned my college roommate Mark Richt (head coach at Georgia) coached him and I watched a bunch of Georgia football.

Robert Ayers, Defensive End, Tennessee. Best D-Lineman on the board at the time, no surprise. Only a one-year player at Tennessee, but I like the film I saw on him. He can run and separate well and has a decent inside move.

SIDEBAR: Baltimore took Michael Oher (OT) Ole Miss. The book Blind Side was written about this guy and it came true as he was drafted in the first round. Good book, read it a number of years ago and thought it was interesting but left a lot of great players names out that should have been mentioned. Worth a read. Mcollege teammate from Miami, Art Kehoe, was his coach and he spoke highly of the kid.

What do you all think about our first two picks?

ROUNDING IT OUT:
Round 2, Pick 5 (37) (From Seattle) – CB Alphonso Smith, Wake Forest
Round 2, Pick 16 (48) – S Darcel McBath, Texas Tech
Round 2, Pick 32 (64) (From Pittsburgh) – TE Richard Quinn, North Carolina
Round 4, Pick 14 (114) – S David Bruton, Notre Dame
Round 4, Pick 32 (132) (From Pittsburgh) – G Seth Olsen, Iowa
Round 5, Pick 5 (141) (From CLE through PHI, NE and BAL) – WR Kenny McKinley, South Carolina
Round 6, Pick 1 (174) – QB Tom Brandstater, Fresno State
Round 7, Pick 16 (225) – C Blake Schlueter, TCU

I haven’t spent much time looking at the remainder of the draft, yet.
How do you grade draft day?

Darrent wasn’t 5’7″… he was 7 freakin’ feet tall!… He played like he was invincible and didn’t care what his size was… He was gonnna make a play

  2. Broncobailey99 says:

I think 34…. If I was a Denver RB, I wouldn’t wanna touch #30 because that # has already been made great by a player on that team… and I wouldn’t wanna seem like I thought I was better…

But also 34 has his 2nd digit in it… But who knows… Maybe he’ll talk one of them useless DBs or RBs at the bottom of the list into giving him their #

  3. Greatness007 says:

Man people are so touchy in here? The kid put out how he fills. Some of you just got on the bandwagon. Some of these so called “bad fans” all they know is ORANGE AND BLUE. Some won’t even buy That throwback jersey because its yellow. Some of these guys are really hurting. Yeah it might not be good to put your all in to a team you don’t work for. Some of the ones that are PISSED OFF are every year season ticket holders. Some of them can’t pick a new team if they wanted to. Some of them can’t name a single regular player on another team, but can name the practice squad lineman back in 1990 can you? Some of them just tryna get their fustration out they will come around we all love THE TEAM. A fan doesn’t have to like the coach, owner, 1,2,3,4, and etc of players. They love the team and they just can figure out the direction. They need to just realize that we were never really gonna draft any NT or true 5 tech as we know it. He’s building a Keep away offense meaning. The longer the O is on the field. The less the D can get taking advantage of. The other team O can’t score as much. Most people comming on here like they knew every pick that was made were on there mock draft! If thats true? A CARAMELLOO I think we found the one that was in the WAR ROOM. Getting blindfolded, Spon around, handed the dart and told to throw at the board for the next pick at the end of the 2nd round. Some of the players are good if your playing MADDEN. Some are hoping they pan out. I not hoping! I saying he ( The Coach) needs to know there gonna pan out. This is a MULTIMILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS. You can hope, HE NEEDS TO KNOW! Thats all I’ve been saying. If we loose to Cincy and Cleveland the first two games of the season. That’s not a good look. That what I hope don’t happen. I’m all about TEAM end all of being all in the BUSINESS!

  4. coloradocutler says:

Next point on this topic for me who in the west had the best draft Dolts, Oakland,KC or Denver? I say Denver by far!And while we are comparing who did the best in free agency? Got to go with Denver again! So like the coaching staff or hate them we as A team are moving in the right direction! And lets not forget Brady Quinn is ready to be moved since Cleavland got a third QB from that draft day trade! And there is a DT or 2 that want out of their current situation.who knows what coach has in minde hes obviously not afraid to pull the trigger on a big trade or 2 yet .We aren’t done moving and shaking yet by a long shot! On that I’m sure!!! Who would appose moss and a pic for a good DT?(for example)

  5. Greatness007 says:

For the people saying we needed a TE. We have 5 now. Gram, Sheffler, Bergen,Putzier and now Quinn. Please show me the need. Like I said before we’re not playing Madden here.

  6. Broncobailey99 says:

I think KC and “Dolts” both had a good 1st round… But how affective they’ll be for them… Who knows… I [think] that the players they got in the 1st aren’t gonna do too much… Jackson won’t be a problem to us because of our line, and same w/ English… but English has to work for the starting job, so yea…

I think overall, Denver had the most impact on the players they got…

Moreno is an instant starter… unless something bad goes wrong, Ayers will be starting… Smith will be at least a 3rd string (still on the field) player… and a few of the other guys will have a good special teams affect (like the ND S, Bruton, who can eventually get a starting job in a few years)>(or less)

    So I’d say imediate impact… Denver wins…

  7. Greatness007 says:

    C. Cutler I say everyone got a C except for the Raiders! Man I don’t know were there player personell Got their DEGREES For or if BIG AL was gonna cut some heads off if he didn’t get speed.

  8. Broncobailey99 says:

We NEED a good 3rd TE… But we didn’t NEED to get one… (or at least not that early… or, well, not at all)… I’m just staying positive at that pick… Maybe McDenver just wanted a good blocking TE to throw in there sometimes and to have on special teams (like PAT, Field Goal blocking)

  9. mrbroncofan says:

not all of us witll agree on denver’s draft. maybe i am wrong but i think that one thing MOST of can agree on is that oakland had a terrible draft. who was that guy they picked in the 2nd round? they could have waited until the 7th round to pick him.

  10. Broncobailey99 says:

Actually, it is reported (and quoted on NFL Network during the draft) that the Bears were gonna select him in the 2nd round and even called him up to let him know and since the raiders snagged him… they decided to trade out…

  11. Greatness007 says:

mrbroncofan Only one other team had him on there board. He didn’t get invitied to the combine. The other team had him in the late 3rd or early 4th rd. I’m lost on that one. Big AL running them into the ground. Their coach couldn’t get another job as a head coach this yr. All he could get is a O-Line Coaching position. So he wasn’t gonna stand up to him.

  12. Greatness007 says:

That’s funny NFL NETWORK personality Mike Mayock said what just typed earlier!

  13. DDENVER says:

anyone know who we pick up for CFA ? a lot of teams picked up a lot of people

  14. Broncobailey99 says:

    OK, I have a major, major question…

For my b-day, I wanna make sure I get one of them lovely/awesome yellow jerseys…

Of the players they have available, who should I get?

    Champ?
    Royal?
    Marshall?
Moreno? (when they release the #)
OR!… should I just get it customized?

  15. Greatness007 says:

DDenver we got Everette Pedescleaux CFA signing.

  16. socalbigbroncofan says:

Is it me or does anyone else agree that all the nework announcers are anti-DEVER on NFL NET. and on Sirius NFL. they dont like our picks we pick vesatile players, according to coach mcd and we don’t know what we’re doing. Bill BellchicK does it and they’re geniuses. The all mad because we draft the best rb and they dont like it . when shanny was here he could make any rb 1000 yard rusher. but hes not here anymore so mcd did a good job and it was another rb that sd would of had. and its ok for other teams to build in the college free agency but we’re not allowed to. give me a break they’re all still mad because of cutler, mcd messed up but cultler could have ended yet we’re still the bad guys. lets prove all of them wrong and show them we can do it. GO DENVER.

  17. texark-fan says:

socal… the press has NEVER liked denver. I have been watching sence the 60′s and the press has always treated us like Rodnry Danferfield “I get no respect” but wait until the snow falls and they are all over colo.

  18. Greatness007 says:

Socalbigbroncofan the Cutler thing is not really the thing. It’s the firing of a long time friend of theirs. Shanny was be loved by all of them. This young kid (in their mind) can even measure to what he did. Mike is a legend in the media world. To them it was never his fault. Like they do Bill ( well both Bill’s) that’s how they do Mike. Just gonna take some time. If you was watching the draft on NFL NETWORK. Gruden drop the f- bomb. Then said “I don’t know what the heck their doing” when we traded our next yr 1st rounded. Rich said ” Gruds we on national TV you can’t say that” lol Then Mike Mayock went in to a rant and said” If he was the Coach he would have sat Cutler on the bench. I don’t care if he B!@##$ and moans I would have not traded him” Then Rich said “we have to get off this subject before the FCC shut us down!” lol They were heated.

  19. texark-fan says:

p s we threw bricks at Howard Corcell after half time when he said nothing about us on MNF………now that was fun!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. CARAMELLOO says:

Man Greatness007 let me @ dat person, but 1st I have to make da short ride to da New Orleans Arena and throw some darts @ these refs. They calling some BS calls on da Nuggets @ times.

  21. Greatness007 says:

A CARAMELLO now we should have drafted some of them. They hit in that series like Football. People leaving the game bleeding and bandaged up. Man I thought I was watching the old Boston vs Lakers Series. Bulls vs Pistons you name it they doing it. lol

  22. mrbroncofan says:

hey CARAMELLOO: Nuggets got a great team this year. lovin chancey billups.

  23. NY_BroncoMan says:

    VERY INTERESTING DRAFT

OK..so no Sanchez. I’m cool wit that…plus i’m happy for the Jets, they deserve a franchise QB after all these yrs.

I cant lie though, I was absolutely FLIPPIN OUT on our 1st pick. I was sure it would be a defensive front 7 guy…and they draft a friggen RB?? I was throwin the towel in and given up completely on McD and Xanders

…BUT then the 18th pick was Ayers. that was a GREAT pick. I think he has the talent to make a run for D rook of yr. Trading up for A Smith was another great move. Basically we took him as a 1st rounder. If that’s what they thought he was worth, i like it. So we really gor 3 1st rnd picks this yr that can start immediately ..Fired Up

I like the safety and TE move also. Shefler can never stay healthy and Graham is limited stay healthy. B Dawkins mentoring at safety..very nice.

Then as i thought back on the 1st pick of RB, I now really like the move. He will help take a lot of pressure of the QB which is extremely important now with Cutler gone.

Overall i give this draft an A+.

Only time will tell of course but good job anyway.

  24. CARAMELLOO says:

I don’t pay much attention to those wannabe experts on da diff. networks. Hell any of us can be lazyboy, ice chest, or bucket coach.

  25. CARAMELLOO says:

Man people here in New Orleans hate me bc I’m not a Saints or Hornets man. I guess they are so mad bc I was born and raised here, but I’m everything Denver! Hornets shouldn’t have let Bird Man go bc he’s full of energy!

  26. CARAMELLOO says:

Yeah Billups was a awesome pick, and he’s from Colorado.

  27. Greatness007 says:

I don’t know about rookie of the yr on D NY_Broncoman. I think Orakpo or Rey M. Orakpo got Hansworth. Hansworth could suck ,but he gonna get doubled or Tripled teamed. So he is gonna get singled up to make plays. As for REy M.. I’m not saying that because of his talent. If Cincy have a good D they gonna look at the Draft picks. If we have a good D. They gonna look at Dawkins and the other guys in Freeagency.

  28. aSharpeIdea_84 says:

socalbigbroncofan – Great observation it’s always been like that. I have been watching for a very long time, won’t give away my age, and for whatever reason many people in the media and others hate the Broncos.

The Broncos are one of the winningest teams in pro sports, not just football. Look it up. And they are snubbed from the HOF as well. It’s completely absurd that Elway and Zim are the only Broncos in the Hall. And had we not won the two SB they probably wouldn’t there either. It’s ridiculous actually and very obvious.

I think it’s because Colorado is one of the most beautiful places on earth, it really is no joke, and they are all jealous. Who knows?

So I just saw 15 more rookies added today. Could be some diamonds in the rough there I hope. Rod Smith anyone?

  29. denverbro89 says:

Have you guys seen the CFAs we picked up, simply amazing. Chris Baker being the biggest name, and the biggest DL we’ve had in a while. Rulon Davis another big DL, Lee Robinson a stout ILB, we got a couple more corners, wide outs, and some more TEs(hope this doesn’t mean were shopping Sheffler), another tackle, I mean we loaded up, we have to find some talent with all these guys. I am not sure what the deal is with the TEs and the WRs, we seem to have more than needed, I’m guessing they will be special teams players and practice squad additions only, we added a running back from Florida, I never heard of the guy but I welcome any addition to the team. Among the cornerbacks, I really like Domonique Johnson, he is taller than Alphonso Smith, and has been compared to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. WR Travis Shelton seems to be a really good return guy, which could alleviate Eddie Royal from return duties, reducing chance of injury. David Grimes probably fell off thhe map of most teams due to being on a poor team, and average quarteback play from Clausen. Kyle Orton must be very happy, and so am I.

  30. Broncobailey99 says:

    David Grimes!… YES!…

  31. G funk says:

I lost all respect for the Media this year. If you hear them talk they all have the right answer. point is they don’t know as much as me and you. At this point in the game you got to wait till training camp to know just what you got. that bottom pick may turn out to be your best player you justdon’t know. So for them to say denver had a bad draft i just don’t pay attention.

  32. meisner says:

i love the CFA of Rulon Davis. that guys can easily be a starter fast! He’s big, strong, (which is exactly what we need for a 3-4) and he’s a former marine so you know he’s got a excellent work ethic. 4 sacks in 7 games as a senior and 2 forced fumbles… you gotta give that guy a solid chance. Ayers and Davis starting DE’s and move dumervile and moss to LB cause they dont have the size we need.

  33. Broncobailey99 says:

So, is our LB corp gonna look sorta like this?:

    OLB: Rob Ayers
    LB: D.J. Williams
    LB: Wes Woodyard
    OLB: DOOOOOMM!!

Having Ayers and doom outside w/ D.J. and Wes in the middle?

  34. broncos20 says:

wow,,we just got a handful of undrafted FAs..pretty exciting.

we got a legit NT for a 3-4 scheme in CHris Baker ( 6’2 336lbs)..good size..our biggest player this season..a legit DE for 4-3 in Rulon Davis (6’6 285lbs)..Peppers-esque figures..and someone posted a link earlier last week about LB Lee Robinson, well we just grabbed him in the undraftees, this guy is a basher, he is big (6’2 250) but he runs stride for stride with rbs on the sideline even breaks up passes…he could be our Woodyard this season.

never seen this Everette Pedescleaux that everyone keeps mentioning…but youtubed him and this guy is a beast..could play DE in a 3-4.

    notable mention* CB Dominique Johnson

  35. texark-fan says:

ok here we sit with 25 new players and the F/A pick-ups and what is left of the old team.
what is left of the old team i love, good football players. BUT with all the great draft choices some of the old team will have to go! so while everyone is so happy now i want you to remenber that the TEAM is going to move forward and could (will) be with out some of our heros.
mt point is mac didnot pick a N/T, witch means he might like what he has….he didnot pick a ture L/B so that means he might like what he has… he picked a R/B, D/E, D/Bs ect. ect. this means he wasnot happy with some of them. some one has to go.
when the time comes those of you that are on the fence about mac will bounce back to the dark side again. so before you jump off the in the deep end, take a look around. stop being so up and down. most of the ppl have said mac is going to ruin the team and them come back and said he is helping, then turning around and saying i told you it would happen (either way and both ways)
look, it is NOT going to be all roses. it will take more than one draft and a few F/A to turn around a 8-8 team. when we come in at 6-10 or 10-6 we will have some one come back and say ‘i seen it coming’ who cares! if you can see things coming go call our D plays. we very well could be great, but if not, give mac a real chance. he needs ppl helping not all the critics knawing at his heals.

  36. denverbro89 says:

To aSharpeIdea_84: I agree 100%, I live in Ohio, but I love the Broncos every since I really got into football, and we’ve had a great organization for a long time, and some great players, Steve Atwater, Tom Nalen( just any O-Lineman), Terrel Davis, Ed Mcaffrey, Al Wilson, Shannon Sharpe, so many guys, yet we don’t get half the credit of a New England, or the Steelers, some young people even think the Chargers are better than us, I admit we have been down a couple years, but we have one of the finest organizations in sports. We have been struck by disaster, Darrent Williams death was not only detrimental to the team spirit, he also was a very good corner. Al Wilson’s neck injury set us back at line backer and he is every bit as good as a Keith Bulluck and was bound to be in the HOF had he still been playing, Ian Gold was hurt in 04 or 05 or 06, not sure, but he was a really good linebacker. John Mobley, who only bronco nation knows of was also a good linebacker, he got hurt and that was an end to that. Then last yer all our RBs were hurt, Champ and Boss Bailey was hurt( who knows what he could of done), D.J Williams was hurt, every body was hurt and we still amassed a .500 record. We will establish greatness once again in due diligence.

  37. broncos20 says:

Rulon Davis- GREAT PICK UP!!!!..plays DE, stand up pass rush..very powerful.reminds me of Andre Carter.

  38. cutler6101 says:

I like rulon davis…named after rulon jones……ex-marine……i can relate to him being in iraq…..he must be a broncos fan or family are strong bronco fans….must be a dream come true for him and I bet he plays his heart out and he is 6’5″………nice move

  39. mrbroncofan says:

with all these free agent rookies. MAYBE just maybe one of them is a Rod Smith type player. Chris Baker could be that guy on the defensive side. look at Woodyard and how he was able to help us last year.

  40. Greatness007 says:

Now they doing their homework. I can’t complain about nothing we got today. I fill everybody we got. I thought some of them got drafted.

  41. archangel77 says:

Great blogs people! I know the CFA’s are listed on the main page but here they are again for quick reference.

    1. Chris Baker, 6’2″-326 lbs., NT and DE (3-4), Penn State and Hampton. Considered very disruptive and explosive. Can penetrate the line as a conventional NT in the 3-4 and has also played DE in that scheme.
    2. Rulon Davis (yes he was named after Rulon Jones and that ROCKS!), 6’5″-281 lbs., University of California (no jinx’s remarks based on Deltha O’Neil okay!).
Former Marine who served in Iraq (Semper Fi!) Has very limited experience but has shown stunning potential when he did play. (Mike Anderson didn’t do so bad for us did he?)
    3. Marquez Branson, 6’2″-247 lbs., TE, Central Arkansas (Big with soft hands; must be an Arkansas Collegiate trait i.e. Peyton Hillis). Was considered by the Draft experts to be too short to be an effective blocker due to his height although he didn’t have a problem with this in college. He is an excellent receiver with big hands, long arms, and soft mitts. Was the best red zone threat for C. Arkansas.
    4. Stanley Bryant (no relation to Kobe), 6’5″-282 lbs., LT, East Carolina.
Bryant is tall but some what light for an NFL LT but then again so was Matt Lepsis. Bryant has great feet, is fast, and is an excellent run blocker.
    5. Tony Carter, 5’9″-176 lbs., CB, Florida State. Carter runs a legitimate 4.3 40 and has an explosive second gear which has made him dangerous in the secondary. Carter is also known for playing much bigger than his size would indicate. He has a reputation for not backing down from anyone and plays with the ferocity of a Dawkins like Safety. His 12.5 tackles for loss are proof of this.
    6. Britton Colquitt, 6’3″-205 lbs., Punter, Tennessee. Britton may have the sexiest name coming out of college. The name is so sexy that it resulted in unwanted man love advances which subsequently lead to a little problem with the drinky drinky (4 alcohol related offenses). Seriously though; Colquitt has a legitimate NFL leg and is known for landing dead balls that bounce once and die inside the opponents 10. Is also a prodigy with a brother in the NFL (Punts for K.C.).
    7. Marcus Gordon, 6’6″-320 lbs., 5.0 40-Bench Max 380-Squat Max 585-Vertical 23 inches., OT, Kentucky State University.
Gordon is powerful and knows both tackle positions. He is also one of the hardest human beings in the Football Universe to track down!
    8. David Grimes, 5’10″-177 lbs., WR, Notre Dame.
Grimes is fast and allusive. He has not only lined up at every receiver spot but also has experience returning punts.
    9. D.J. Johnson, 6’1″-197 lbs., CB and S, Jackson State.
Johnson often looked like a man among boys while playing at Jackson State. His play at CB was so dominant that teams simply refused to throw in his direction necessitating a move to Safety where he could use his height and speed to challenge teams from the deep secondary.
    10. Kestahn Moore, 5’10″-212 lbs., RB, Florida.
Moore was an integral part of the National Champion Gators program. His ability to make teams respect his ability to run helped players like Percy Harvin exploit mismatches across the board.
    11. Everette Pedescleaux (Pronounced Pedes…Pedesclee….Oh give me a break here!), 6’6″-305 lbs., DE (3-4), Northern Iowa.
Pedescleaux is tall and athletic. With the frame to add another 15 pounds without loosing much speed; Everette has the ability to be very disruptive from the outside.
    12. Lee Robinson, 6’2″-249 lbs., OLB (Rush), Alcorn State.
Robinson is a very powerful and fluid athlete. He may have the best hips in this years entire crop of linebacker perspectives (see combine workout video). I don’t know why but this kid may be this years version of Woodyard. I think he’s going to be a serious play maker.
    13. Travis Shelton, 5’11″-185 lbs., WR and Return Specialist, Temple.
Shelton should need only one word to describe him but a phrase does a much better job. Lightning in a bottle. Shelton has Hester like return ability and could win a roster spot on that aspect alone.
    14. Nate Swift, 6’1″-203 lbs., WR, Nebraska.
Swift is just that. He is not ultra quick or very fast. He is simply swift. He reminds me of a more football oriented Jeremy Bloom with slightly better speed. A return set with Shelton and Swift (it has a ring to it doesn’t it?) could strike fear into any team.
    15. Lucas Taylor, 6’0″-185 lbs., WR, Tennessee.
Taylor has the physical characteristics of a Rod Smith type payer with sub 4.4 speed. Given the time to develop he could be the answer if B-Marsh has to serve a suspension this year.

Any who; here they are and in all sincerity I am as excited about these players as I am about our 10 picks. Due to the fact that most of the experts claimed this was a very shallow draft; I believe that a high degree of short-sightedness may have crept into everyone’s evaluation process. There are some very good football players in this list.

    Break their will to compete!

    Mike in San Diego

  42. Greatness007 says:

Chris Baker is a beast. I covered him in college. Rulon Davis I thought went back to the service. Marquez Branson will probably be our 2nd fb. He’s a h-back type. It’s alot of guys thats gonna have too compete to stay on this team. Not bad Mc Daniels not bad at all. I’m not gonna call you Mc Genius like other people , but I give respect when it’s do!

  43. archangel77 says:

Geatness007; when you say covered do you mean from a broadcasting or journalistic standpoint or as a player? I agree with your assesment of the CFA’s. A very promising group of players.

    Break their will to compete!

    Mike in San Diego

  44. NastyNate says:

I cant wait till the season starts!!! I wanna watch how much the broncos get hated on even though they are winning a game like the nuggets did the other day on TNT the had the a huge lead and all they could talk about was Chris Paul!!
here is an example of what I think may happen Orton starts in our first Game and has a decent game he starts again and has a 350 yd 2 TDs and no INTs yet the announcers will still be all over Cutlers nuts and say it was a mistake they let him go.
just my opinion!! and I love the RB Moreno he is a beast not great break away speed but if he can get 15 yards on third down and avg. 5 yds. PC damn can anyone say the Next T.D.?? and Ayers will help alot and all thosE FA we just added 25 more players

  45. broncos20 says:

archangel77, that was an amazing job analysing all the players. very good overview..couldnt have said it better myself

  46. Greatness007 says:

Archangel77 I meant as a journalist standpoint. I had to cover some of their games. He always game to play. Even though he’s big in mass. Still he had a short man complex that gave him a mean streak.

  47. Greatness007 says:

Ya’ll know the funny thing. I thought the Raiders would draft Lucas Taylor. Glad we have him. He could be the next Rod Smith. Well if he played like he did in ’07.

  48. UUB says:

I see we got your boy Greatness. I read your blog on the other website. I think you gonna have to do a retraction now that we have your boy(Chris Baker) You probably had something to do with him comming down here. lol

  49. Greatness007 says:

Naw man! He came his self I had nothing to do with it. wink wink. sshhh

  50. UUB says:

    lmao I knew it.
