S.I. Jinx-Schminx. Stats-schmats. Win — Win is what this team does and I had to get a post off tonight because I can’t wait to read the papers tomorrow and see what writers are jumping on the bandwagon now.
A helping of Crow should be served around town for the non-believers and I’ll be the first at the plate with my prediction early on. It a good thing I’m typing because it’s not polite to talk with your mouth full of bird.
) Mumble-mumble.
My hats off to Coach McDaniels and I had a HUGE smile on my face when he did a little fist waving at the end of the game … still have that smile writing this. Beating your mentor really means a lot and he handled it with class and a little fun for the fans … thanks coach. CONGRATS.
ORTON, wazuuuuuuuuupppppp????? Wow, bro, you were on fire and without the glove. Heard the stats but don’t remember them and don’t care. Brady lookalike. And you didn’t even let him back on the field for OT… HA!!! LOVE IT!!!!
HOT-HOT-HOT!!! I thought the the penalties would be our downfall, but not these guys. Fight and fight and fight till the end.
I know you Coop-blogsters are ready to roll SO WHAT DID YOU THINK??? WOW!! 5-0.
Bring it Rivers.

let get them sd
Coop I about died when we were called twice on 4th downs for penaltys but its good to see are players dont stop playing they know its 60 mins not play when you want to I cant wait for next week.
haha, I hear ya broncofan96. It’s one thing that Reid got called for roughing the punter but for us to get called twice on 4th down… wasn’t sure I was gonna make it through the rest of the game. Never thought that game would end. These penalties have got to stop. They absolutely kill a good drive. Too many little stupid mistakes that can be avoided. And when the penalties happen, they all happen at once it seems like. One right after another and then its like a never-ending yellow flag parade down the field. I get so dizzy cause they go back and forth on the field, soon enough I can’t figure out if we’re comin or goin. That is a major issue they need to work on.
Orton looked much better without the glove. He’s getting so good, I can’t contain myself. He’s showing alot of progress and promise. Plus, he’s got the attitude I want from a QB on AND off the field. He’s got class and respect. Never in a million years did I think we’d end up with him as our starter, but you cannot argue with his results. So far, so good.
Defense continues to amaze me. There are not enough words in any language to say how much I love our D. Nolan has done a spectacular job turning it around. He definitely has a magic touch. As does McDenver. I loved watching his reaction at the end of the game. Classy but just embracing this huge win for him. He learned well from Belichek, I will give him that, but he’s got his own style. He will do well in Denver for a long time. And I know he’s married and all, but he’s kinda cute! lol Sorry, I had to throw that in there.
I am loving how this team keeps fighting at the end to take the win. Although, I can’t figure out why its always the 2nd half that makes them play better. The 1st half was all about the Pats, and we were struggling, like we’ve done in other games. Bugs me a little that they seem to wait till the 2nd half to really start playing some football. Nerve-wracking but at least they come away with the win. 5-0 is a great spot for us right now. No competition to worry about with the Jokies and Chiefs failing to capture a win. Only concern we need to really focus on is SD. They will put up a fight as always and we need to be ready to take the lead early. We can’t keep waiting till the 2nd half to finally get in the game. SD will drown us on the board if we don’t step it up early. They creamed us last year, we can’t let SD have that much fun this time around. Times have changed and we are a better defense now. We need to do what we did today… hold them to under 20 pts. If we can stop Dallas and NE and not let them get 20 pts or more, we can go 6-0 into our bye.
Keep the faith Bronco Country…
GO BRONCOS!!!!!
5-0 Boncos! Can you believe it!?
Great win. Orton played awesome, moreno ran the ball well. This team made of football players, no divas or fancy players, just guys that play football and I love it!!!
Chargers week starts NOW!!!
Bring it on!
Go Broncos!!!
When coach McD was giving special teams coach a mouthful of words on the roughing the punter, I said to myself “Get em coach”. When the second penalty on 4th down came, I had my own set of words for ST coach (dont remember name, Mike Priefer?) lol. Not to mention the glare he gave the guy!! quite scary!
Overall, I loved the effort and how we were able to fight through the penalties and still get the W in the end. Gotta love the 09 BRONCOS!! ALL DAY EVERYDAY!
was I the only one who was smileing when Dawkins hit welker right in his back. I didnt want welker hurt bad but he was doing to much thanks BDawk for stoping him.
Roughing the punter :p.. it’s called running into the kicker.. but it sounds funny
Thats funny SalorB, I could’ve sworn I heard the announcers say roughing the punter. I thought with all the new rules and stuff, they changed the call “running into the kicker” to “roughing the punter”. I dunno maybe I heard different
Watched the game from the south stands!!!!! You guys rock!!!! a great experience to watch the game from the “rowdies”!!!
Sat next to a few pats fans that were so worried about catching hell from bronco fans that all they did when the pats scored was a quiet fist bump!!! LOL!!!!
Two weeks ago I predicted that McD was holding a few aces’ up his sleeve….check out the wildcatting at the beginning of the game!!! the Pats didn’t know what to do with Orton lined up at the number 2 reciever!!
Bring on the Bolts!!!
GO Broncos!!!!
LOVE the Broncos..Love the Fiery passion…5-0..nxt up Chargers
5-0!!! this team is awesome, who could believe after everything that happen we would be here. our team made a statement to all the doubters. i say screw all the doubters and watch how they all start to jump on the wagon. GO BRONCOS!!!!!! THIS IS OUR YEAR
Cheers Coop! Great game. The players are on the game for 60 mins, and they make us fans be there for 60 mins. too. Well, this time it was more than 60… so, I’m tired. Too much tension in these last 2 weekends.
A long week to recover (’till MNF) and plan vs. a team that surely watched our game vs. NE.
I hope SD is “over-resting”and get too cold, so they will never know where the blows will come from. Anyway, now I can’t see how we can loose vs. SD.
Go Broncooos!
Coop!!! You’re right….KO played great!!!! Rivers on his ass ALOT next week!!!!
07elway: You’re absolutely right girl….too many mistakes and penalties. Fortunately for us, NE made some big ones too allowing us to make just a few more plays than they did. We scrapped and fought for 60 mins. The defense IS awesome. Playing better in the second half means we are making better adjustments at halftime than the opponent. Nerve-wracking but effective. Better than the other way around. No comment on the “he’s kinda cute” thing…silly girl. lol Don’t you distract our coach…lol
thundersrevenge: I’m jealous….having a nasty cold kept me from my south stands brethren today. They are still quite a crowd but not even close to the old days… whew. I can remember Madden having to run onto the field with his clipboard over his head to avoid the flying debris. Yes, I recall the talk of aces up his sleeve too. They call that formation ‘Wild Horses’. I think Kyle was dead perfect throwing from that formation. Like 7 of 7 or 8 of 8…..I think.
Speaking of Kyle throwing…..48 PASSES!!!! wow!!!! 300+ YARDS!!! wow again!!! As Rich Eisen said on NFL Network…”It was an oldie but a hoodie”….5-0 baby!!!! Bring on the dolts.
On a side note….the raiders allowed 44 points today….1 more point than we have allowed all season thus far….man they suck. JaMarcus Russell is a BUST!!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!! South Stands Forever!!! The Orange Crush Lives!!
That was a classic. The throwbacks, the pupil vs. teacher, a battle to the end, great game.
I honestly thought if the Patriots got to 17-0 on the scoreboard that we’d not have a chance. Luckily Orton and Marshall are getting on the same page in a hurry. Nice to see Royal getting some catches too. Thought Moreno did a good job of running..gotta protect the ball a little better. Nice to see Moss taken out of the game..execpt for his INT, but Welker did a nice job against us. At the end we had Bailey matched-up on Welker to shut him down. Nice move I might add to M. Nolan.
Are we for real? Hell yeah we’re for real!!!! “Oh you only beat them by a field goal and Brady mised Moss on a couple of plays and blah blah , Child please. Give it up we are a good football team and you guys were wrong about the Broncos.
During that game my blood pressure rose when we got called for the 4th down penalties, I went nuts, my wife thinks I’m nuts, and my neighbors think I’m crazy. LOL oh well, gotta love them Broncos.
Lights out the Chargers!!!!!
One more thing, how bout those “Wild Horses” plays, man I know it is similar to “Wildcat” but I was so confused when they started running those. We may have something there. I also thougth Moreno was going to throw it to Orton a couple of times, cuz no one was convering him on the outside.
Man, what a great game. I was so worried going into halftime, but not anymore! I can’t wait to play San Diego on Monday Night Football. If no one picks us to win that game, everyone out there is just a Bronco hater.
You know what I like just as much as the winning…. The passion…. The Story…. The Marshall Mc D’ embrace. MC D’s fist pumps at the end of the game. Mc’D's mic’d up vid and the way he leads the team with passion. EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE OF HIS PLAYERS ARE BELIEVERS. He will soon make everyone a believer. HERES TO A TEAM THAT PLAYS TO THE END!!! HERES TO THE UNDERDOG!!! HERES TO OUR 2009 DENVER BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey lets kick some Chargers a** next week
Okay everyone, we’re about to find out who all the bandwagoners are. lol
I loved the throwbacks, let’s see more of those awesome socks!
GO ORANGE!
Each game is a challenge, and after what’s been accomplished, I think we’ll have 2 enemies each week… the rival team and excess of self confidence. If we can beat the second one, then the first one will always be beatable.
Let’s embarrass the SD sparkers!
Go Broncooos!
Who cares about the bandwagoners?… Every team has ‘em and everytime they do well, they reappear each time.
Well… I still can’t wait till next week!… My sister’s boyfriend is a chargers fan and we’re having Monday night football at my house so he’ll be in uncharted territory because aside from him and my sister, EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE ROOTS FOR DENVER
Orton was fantastic. Each week he gets better. Way to go Kyle and keep up the good work.
Defense, wow, 3 stops in a row with the 2 botched punt return plays, god that about gave me a heart attack. Keep it up boys. San DIego offense is no picnic either.
Gotta beat SD CHargturds!!
Great game. I even had to laugh when some of the players twisted the scoks to look like a candy cane or Barbers ploe. I should have put that in my color comentary this week. I am drinking the cool aid with suger and ice cubes. Bring on the Bolts!!!
Go Broncos!!
FTR
Thats socks and pole sorry> I will go back to word before posting
We’re for real America!!! What ya have to say now? That D is a monster and the Offense is playing better every week. We have the winning combination on offense Orton, Moreno, Marshall, Royal, Scheffler and that O-line…now let’s go and embarrass SD on national TV monday night McD.
Wow. Wow, wow, wow. HOW ‘BOUT THEM BRONCOS???!!!!! Great win! Great Defense! Great Offense!! Everybody did their job. Clean up the penalties. Solid team and effort!!!
Just take everything one day at a time, one week at a time, let’s not start jumping ahead too much, but 5-0 is CRAZY!!!! I LOVE IT!!
ORANGE CRUSH, BABY!!
YOU CAN’T TELL ME SAN DIEGO ISN’T A LITTLE NERVOUS!
I would bet my two cats and garage full of mice, that McDaniels is going to confuse the holy crap out of San Diego.
This patriot game was HUGE! it was the TRUE test and you can’t measure what that win did for our football team! JMac put in the PERFECT game plan and the team executed it!
GO GET EM’ BOYS!
WHAT I WANT IS FOR THE BRONCOS TO MURDER THE CHARGERS FOR ALL THOSE YEARS THEY WOULD BEAT TO UGLY!!!! IT’S TIME TO UNLEASH THIS DEFENSE AND BRING MAN AND ZONE BLITZES TO SACK PHILLIP RIVERS MORE THAN 7 TIMES AND HURT HIM FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!!
Coop,
what’s your thoughts on this:
on 3rd and inches, why wouldn’t we have simply ran a QB sneak to pick up the first? I believe we were on the 3 or 4 Patriot yard line. We handed it off 3 yards behind the QB only to get stopped and settled for 3.
Not trying to be coach just curious. I’m sure JMac had his reasons just wondered what you thought!
GO GET EM’ BOYS!
I YOUR FACE! J. DUKES!!!!! COOL AID!!!!! LOL!
Coop, these are my thoughts about the game, all crammed into The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
The Good:
On O: Orton the magnificent. He came out, he saw, he conquered. 35 of 48 for 330! What else needs to be said? He needed to bring up the O to the level of the D, and did just that. Game manager, my @$s! He simply picked apart the Pats. They probably still don’t know what hit them this morning…
Royal, yeah coachemup, you were dead on to predict this would be his breakout game, 10 catches for 90. He was open all day and caught everything. Put on a clinic.
Marshall, not far behind with 8 catches. His 2 TD’s were very workman like, good clean catches and hard runs into the end zone, nothing fancy, just hard nose. However, arguably his greatest play was when he never gave up on the ball thrown his way after it was tipped and batted the ball down saving an INT and probably 6. He is officially working his tail off for the Broncos now. Wow, talk about a turn around!
Gaffney haunted his old team with another great game (specially the big tipped ball reception), a mini miracle deflection I thought. He is the go to guy in the tough spots, proved it again on third downs and to get us out of the holes when we were inside the ten.
Scheffler, Graham and Moreno completed the receiving game nicely, specially that 27 yard catch and run by Moreno in the 4th quarter 98 yard drive that tied the score. He also had some sizable runs for a good day, but not great, with 88 yards.
McD getting struck by lightning (that’s all I can figure) and finally going for a different play than up the middle with Moreno on 3rd and one and NEVER GET IT, and gets the 1st down at the end of the game with a short pass that ends up setting up the winning field goal, just about as amazing as the Marshall turn around… And also a great call by McD when he throws the red flag on their O in the 2nd quarter which a play later brings up a 15 yard penalty on them that gets them out of FG range, they punt, we drive 93 yards for the TD that gets us back into the game. People were 2nd guessing that red flag because it was just for 3 yards, but it was the biggest momentum changer in the game, IMO.
On D: DJ leading all tacklers again is probably our most consistent player.
Dawkins ruling the field again, hard tackling, one for a loss, great pass deflection on the long ball to Moss, etc…
Jack Williams, outstanding coming out party for him, 7 tackles, pass deflection…
Davis and Holliday also played great with some key plays.
On ST: Winning FG by Prater, doesn’t get any better than that. Good thing, otherwise there would be nothing entered in this section…
The Bad:
On O: Not that it was specifically bad, but I personally could care less about seeing the wild horse thing again, IMO the best thing it did was it made them call their 1st time out early.
The slow start with the offense again this week, haven’t had one good 1st quarter all year, we’re not used to that, with Shanny’s pre-scripted first 25 plays, it was always our best quarter. Moreno’s early fumble didn’t help, and McD chooses to throw the red flag on that which was obvious to everybody in the stadium but him, FUMBLE. A few minutes later with 2:57 left in the 1st quarter, we use our 2nd time out…Talking of Moreno, he NEVER GETS ANYTHING ON SHORT YARDAGE, really getting sick of that… He also fumbled again before the end of regulation but got away with it this time. This kid makes me real nervous all the time, he is not ready to handle the load by himself at this point, we need Bucky back real bad.
On D: Similar as last week, we gave up too much yardage on screens. I know with the N-E offense, it’s pick your poison, and it showed. We didn’t really stop their running, didn’t really pressure Brady, didn’t lock down on Welker, and it seems we did it that way as to allow them a little of everything underneath but to stop them from hurting us deep with Moss. So, even so it looked that they had their way on us, I guess you would say it was controlled mayhem, but they sure had their way with the running, the screens and Welker.
On ST: IT WAS HORRIBLE, A HORROR SHOW! I lost my cool plenty during the game: When McKinley decides to return a kick off from 8 yard deep in the end zone. When Kern pinned them deep, the coverage team couldn’t keep them there. When Royal fumbles a punt return, luckily Williams recovers. When Prater missed a FG and no KO’s in the end zone. When Royal and Phonzy run into each other trying to both get the same ball on a punt return. When on a punt, Kern hurdles over a tackler after he kicks it, therefore not getting a run into the kicker penalty that would of given us a 1st down. When we run into their kicker on the following punt and give them an automatic 1st down. When on the very next punt, we line up in the neutral zone and give them, yes, another 1st down. Now that’s a good horror movie, isn’t it?
The Ugly:
This week it could of gone to the uniforms, but to tell you the truth I was so engrossed into the game, with never a second to relax, I never really paid attention to them. Of course the ST as a whole could of easily filled this section, but this week I will give it to McD again, nothing personal, I love the guy, but his idea of plays on short yardage is clearly asinine regardless of him getting hit by lightning at the very end of the game in OT.
Let’s recapitulate, 1st quarter Moreno up the middle in short yardage, nothing, 2nd quarter, same, 3rd quarter, 3rd and one, Moreno up the middle, not a yard again, later in the third, same play, same guy, loss of three, at the end of OT, 2nd down one yard to go, same guy, same play, nothing, comes up 3rd and one, I swear I was going to jump at the coach’s throat right through the TVscreen if he one more time used the same play with the same guy!!!! No, that’s when lightning hits McD, he goes for a short pass, gets the 1st down and everything was ok… PLEASE, when you run it up the middle on short yardage take Moreno out, he has shown us over and over that HE CANNOT GET THAT YARD, and give Hillis or Jordan some shots at it. I’m done with this, I promise I won’t mention it again, I’ve grown too tired of that play to even argue it anymore.
Busy game, long post….
Drink it Dukes!!! DRINK IT!!!! hahaha
Orton got the JOB DONE!!
I gave Ort a hard time about the missed passes in the Dallas game and he responded with a STELLAR performance against Boston!!!
Here’s a GREAT BIG mile high salute out to KO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that I have seen what Orton can do. I expect NO LESS from here on out. He has set a great “benchmark” for himself. He needs to keep up to that standard. Kudos Ort!!!!
MCdaniels (game manager)
McD managed this game with a nice dose of SURPRISE and great playcalling. My respect for McD doubled in this game. He put together a fantastic gameplan and beat his mentor. WOW!
Orton (play manager)
KO was CRISP and ACCURATE in managing each play and getting the ball to the playmakers. He looked fast, making instant decisions and getting the ball out quickly.
Marshall and company (play makers)
What can’t we say about these tallented guys! Marshall, Royal, Graham, Moreno, Scheffler, Stokley, etc, etc… The O line second to none!!!
I want to say something about the Defense but, I’m Speechless!!!!! WOOOOAA!!!!! THEY ARE FOR REAL!!!!
Congratulations to the Bronco team and fans!
OC, I know you’re excited but Stockley had 0 catches, it was nice of you to give Orton his due, unusual but nice… I tell you we had two parts of the team functioning at a high level yesterday, the O and the D, the day we get the third part up to speed (ST) we will be very hard to beat. It makes me laugh when I see posts saying we played well everywhere yesterday, that had to be one of the worst ST performance in quite a while.
I bet you meant Gaffney.
Orton got the Job done. Ill be the first to say it. Always wanted to know he could handle the load and help bring us back if we were real down and he did so against a well coached team. Like he said “we’ve already done 95 yards, might as well do 98″ lol. He is still without INT in my book.
I liked the Wild Horses….Like the commentators said, it messed with the flow of the defense. The fact that Orton could come back under center meant that they just had to audible their defense to the safest thing and we just about always completed a pass on it. It was a nice curve ball to throw at a well coached team especially cuz none of that was in film.
Recieving core did amazing. All of them. From WRs to TEs. Marshall looks liek he is going to have more tds this year than last. Maybe not Yards but…U know lol. and please keep pressing marshall, especially in the red zone lol.
Moreno did well. He fumbled yes but after that he darn near had 3 arms around that ball if that were possible lol. Gaff fumbled too. Funny Marshall had the biggest fulbling problem last year and not one yet. Maybe they all should walk around dove valley with balls in their hand asking peopel to knock it out lol. Moreno did will in catching game to. We never get it on the ground in 3rd and short or 4th and short. Im glad the passed it. maybe we should stop trying to go up the middle (too cliche) and pitch it out or something.
Defense did well. Gave up alot of yards but did amazing. Bent a bit but didnt break. Didnt complain when ST screwed em over and just went back out there to do their thing. ST almost drove me crazy. all im saying is after the first one. None of them should have even moved or tried or nothing. NONE OF THEM!!!
Great game. Enjoyed it. We didnt play our best but we pulled it off. Thats what should scae our opponents the most. That we have beaten teams playing sloppy. But we need to tighten it up. Can’t get away with it all the time.
THE SEASON IS OURS FOR THE TAKING (and we taking it)
GO BRONCOS!!!
Is it really warm in Denver?…cuz the Broncos are on FIRE!!!!! Ouch it burns so good.
congrats to kyle orton for two back to back come from behind wins, i think all the nasayers have been silenced.two great drives.
Great all around game (providing you have enough Maalox on hand)! Entire team should feel great about themselves, coaches as well. Yes, there were mistakes, some big ones, but overall the team is really a TEAM this year!
Only suggestion I have is to get Moreno into space (i.e. outside the tackles) and let him juke away. Also, on short yardage, we weren’t too good. Why isn’t McD playing Hillis in these situations? He’s a monster in short yardage (and often got big gains in those situations last year).
Anyways, great game: players, coaches and fans!
Yesterday was the first game in about 3-years where we were trailing at the half and I was still sure we were going to pull out a victory. Even with all the mistakes.
Most defenses get tired in the second half – ours gets inspired, and dominates.
It is great to see such emotion on the side lines from coach, I loved the butt chewing, and the glare, and especially the fist pumps at the end.
Props to the whole team…even Special Teams, the last couple of punts were penalty free!!
Great Win!!
GO BRONCOS !!
On a more serious note..Chargers.
LT – not the same LT that we are used to seeing, he’s struggling.
Rivers – very close matchup between him and Orton.
O line – struggling to make holes for LT, our guys will stuff any holes
D – Last season Marshall made a mockery of Cromortie, look for him to do it again.
ST- Sproles he’s going to take over LT’s spot if he doesn’t get going.
All of these areas I believe we can handle. The way our D has been playing vs. the way LT is playing..no contest. This forces Rivers to throw, which means our D will blitz and try to force turnovers and sacks, Gates is probably their biggest threat along with Jackson. Again we have a premier secondary. Now that we are a 3-4 probably have a LB on Gates instead of a DB and SS. Our O is doing well, and if we get Moreno going again he could have a good day. ST – no penalties, don’t touch the kicker. Coverage, Sproles is good, we need to conatain him.
The Chargers are stuggling all around. The Broncos are thriving and improving. If we can go into SD and pull a win, it would be huge. I don’t doubt that SD will be ready for the challenge. These games have kept gaining confidence and we’re feeding off of it.
I expect the Broncos to win 27-17. I don’t think it will go down to the wire this week.
5-0 What have the ‘Experts’ got to say now – Bring on the Chargers and lets get Rivers A** next week on MNF!!
good game yesterday. ST …. horrible! i felt like our ST has been playin pretty well this year but yesterday was a HUGE step in the WRONG direction. ive been sayin for the last few weeks that i would like to see more passes to our running backs and yesterday i was rewarded with that pass to moreno that went for 27! i also agree that moreno has done very little running up the middle. i saw clips of him from college and he looked good between the tackles, but so far i have been disappointed. dont let him get outside tho!
defense play pretty well, would have liked to see more pressure on brady, thought he had way too much time to throw but on the whole good game turned in by our orange crush II defense. i must agree with some one from above that mentioned hillis getting the call on the short yardage plays. not sure why he is still in the dog house or what ever but one thing we know is that he runs HARD, and fights for that extra yard or 2. well cant wait to play SD.
GO BRONCOS
“DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS”
Hats off to Dawkins. The hit he laid on Welker might have gave him second thoughts about making plays in the middle again..lol..and putting Bailey to close him out in the finishing minutes was smart on Nolan’s part.
Every game we are making statements and highlights.
1st game- the amazing tip pass TD
2nd game-Doom lays out 4 scks
3rd game- defensive prowess against the Raiders
4th-Brandon’s emotional comeback and win over “America’s Team”(aha)
5th-The Statement Game…emotions running high in this one.
Go Broncos, show the Chargers nxt Monday that a BYE week doesnt make them better than us.
Did you guys see Dre’ Bly pick??.. that was stupid..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evD04gyLHqA
Haha yea SaloRB thats why hes not on our team anymore he sucks and is dumb
I went into cardiac arrest when we got them penalties on 4rth down lmao. Them penalties almost cost us the game and we really need to tighten that up.
But I absolutely loved the game and I had a strong confidence going into this game that we were going to win and I’m impressed with Orton because I seriously didn’t expect him to throw for 330yds. And Im way over the whole Cutler thing but REALLY,…. I really thought that Orton played sharper than I’ve ever seen Cutler play because I even though I was obviously rooting for my Broncos I think I’m just conditioned to expect the QB to throw a pick off of so many throws and Orton didn’t throw one, except for the irrelevant hail mary pass. So I believe I’m liking Orton as a long term QB. What do yall think about that?
Great game now lets put them chargers in the dirt on monday night. REVENGE for knocking us off the top of the division last year!!!!!
gary bronc, I don’t know about Orton being a shoe in long term, but if he keeps playing like yesterday he will make it impossible to move him over for someone else, and if he doesn’t we have Brandstater who in a couple years will be ready to step in no doubt, with Simms as back up we’re sitting as pretty as anybody at QB. Just the other day louisianabroncofan was saying McD will pick us a great QB in next year’s draft, I basically said what kind of kool-aid are you drinking, I do not believe McD will draft a QB regardless of who falls on our lap in the draft.
