One in a Row!!
Friday, September 14th, 2007It’s a long season and “One in a Row” is a start. We used to say (in the locker room) that you have to take one game at a time because you can’t look past anyone in this league no matter what the other team’s record is on any Sunday.
It wasn’t a pretty win but at the end of the year the score won’t really matter, just the record to get into the playoffs.
Folks, the Kevin Everett injury took my breath away and I’ve said prayers for him ever since. It sounds like he’s making progress, God bless him and his family.
The training staffs on each team reacted quickly and are to be commended, believe me, the “Greek”, (Steve Antonopulos) took care of me on more than one occasion and they’re the best.
