Interesting.

You say you've never seen anything like it, then you go to describe Tim, the quarterback built to meet the demands of the clear lapse in judgment. What I see...

He hedges.

He's the pinnacle of pressure. Tim decides to win, then promotes his message with expanse... if he has an opening, he takes it. He's great, truly, but he is not the point of the endeavor.

What you are seeing that is so unlike anything you know, is not the comet, or the game. What is so different, is the phenomenal message he sends. The message that inspiration compels a way to succeed if the inspiration is what drives the outcome.

Tim Tebow is the phenom, defined in Webster's as "prodigy"... what makes him a herculean success and something observed with disbelief is that he promotes unburdened ambition.

He has a Greater responsibility.

It will only get better from here. You are absolutely right you have never seen anything like this before. When I watched him play in high school it was special; like a man among boys. Now it is a true leader among the many thugs that play in the NFL. Cant wait to see the overall influence this young man has on the game in general

Great Article! I think there will be many more records still to come. For those who are still skeptical of Tim learning to pass, go look at all the PASSING records he set in the Sugar Bowl. He broke all of the passing records, most of which were held by, what was his name...oh yeah, Drew Brees.

Great writing Mr. Saccomano. Sort of makes me want to pull out some old posts from weeks 6, 7, and 8... not that I need to tell anyone "I told you so."

TT is a different type of QB and if you recall, (those who manage to not go cross-eyed with my long posts), I compared TT to Shannon Sharpe in the sense that TT is going to rewrite the manual on QB position like SS rewrote the manual on the TE position. It is a phenomenon.

What's worse is that it might not be possible to duplicate.... TT is doing it different and he is successful because of superior character qualities not because of superior athleticism, intelligence or talent.

Enjoyed the article. I am 60, first great qb I followed was Unitas. Man, he was slow in the pocket. I hope people will begin to enjoy what Tebow can do-lead, not turn the ball over, run, win, show grace under pressure and insult, inspire, not disgrace his city by off field behavior, and throw extremely accurate passes in clutch situations. I have enjoyed this season. It is like a great sports movie where the hero is attacked by the evil ESPN and other analysts and the climactic scene gets repeated again and again. The comebacks keep happening. The naysayers have just started to look foolish. Stephen A. Smith, Sapp, Hoge still don't give him credit. I honestly feel if we win the SB, people will still yell for us to get rid of Tebow. No Respect. Great article.

Very insightful piece! Nice write-up...not like some of the opinionated pieces written by many of the so-called NFL analysts.
