I know this doesn't account for much, but did anyone else notice how much Orton dominated in the milk dud uniforms at the beginning but once we moved to the regular colors he got hurt and his performance dwindled? Maybe we should wear milk duds all year round lol.

I like this trade though. In any event, he's way better than simms was. I wanna see how Orton does in his 2nd year. I wanna see all of the quarterbacks flourish. As for what happens to Orton down the road. Either a needy team takes him, or we consider him as our reliable back up with Brandstater. Never hurts to have good back ups.

It's hard to say how this season will go with the addition of Quinn. I do like it on one lvl at least, the guy is a competitor and will do what it takes to get the job done. Orton had a mediocre season last year. It was great that he was among the top in fewest INT's thrown last year, but his other numbers were average. Eternal I agree 110% that we need to keep Marshall, he is argueably the best the receiver in the league. This years draft is not one to be building the receiving corps. We also need to hold on to Elvis, the guy led the league in sacks last year. That should tell you the guy can and will play.

yea man I dont see Kyle being here next year we will most likely give him the chance to start for another team that will really need him. It wont take Quinn long to get this system under his belt but he still needs a receiver! Please football gods, just for once can we actually keep one of our star players?? We need marshall, no matter how you slice it he is probably the biggest receiving threat in the league and that cant be replaced through this years draft. on the upside, getting Quinn pretty much guarantees we dont waste a pick on a mediocre QB which this draft is chalk full of. I swear if they had used one of our picks on like mcCoy or even worse Tebow, I would have strangled someone. (probably Bowlen I dont know what he was thinking when he said he wanted a QB taken in the draft)

We have some quality under center now. I f Orton is hurt, not so much panicking this time around, now we have another 1st rounder at QB who is a little bit more mature than Jay Cutler and more of a leader, I wouldn't give Quinn the job right away, but this move obviously says we want Quinn as are starter in the future. My only question is, where does that leave Orton?

Quinn will have a legitimate chance at beating out Orton for the starting job. We all knew Simms wasn't going to beat out anyone last season, he barely beat out Brandstater. This year it will actually be a competition, which is good. I would rather see a good competition that Brady sufficing with being a backup. Which also leads me to believe whoever gets the starting job will affect the playcalling. I think with Quinn in there we'd have a better chance at taking a longer shot down field since he's got a little better arm strength. Plus our defense should be much more improved from last season.
Depending on how quickly Quinn can pick up the system, which he is familiar with, he should have a good chance. He's got some of those intangibles you look for in a QB. Plus he's a bit more mobile and agile that Orton, which could add another factor teams will need to watch for. Orton's not going to outrun anyone, but Quinn's got a little quickness to his step and he could pick up the 4-5 yards on a scramble.
Saints will need another back if they should happen to lose Bell.

RB Justin Fargas was cut by the Raiders and will be visiting the Saints.

Justin is the son of Antonio Fargas who used to play Huggy Bear back in the '70s on Starsky & Hutch.

Quinn is the future quarterback for the broncos and we should be able to win the big game in a year or two or three or four.
