I heard there "might" be trade talk w/Vikings+Bucs. I'm all for it. We can get Garcia+draft a QB in the later rounds. I'm start'n to get the vibe that we got the 2nd coming of Jeff George. I'm not a Cutler fan. Do not care if he has a rocket arm. He needs to start winning games (That's what a QB is measured by) before he's allowed these tantrums. What do you guys think 'bout that? I'm happy 'bout signing Dawkins. He's an All-Time Warrior, but...how many good years does he have left? 2...maybe 3??? I still think we need to draft a stud Safety in the 2nd/3rd rd. Groom that kid behind BDawk. Dawkins will bring instant toughness+leadership. No joke 'bout that. I hope he+Champ work well together. Not sold on Safety Renaldo Hill. He seems stop-gap for only 1-2 years. I hope I'm wrong 'bout that. Andre Davis made plays in Cleveland+I hope he does a better job than Niko (Bust!!). Cutler has obviously proven to be the hottest young quarterback talent in the league, the shining bright spot that the franchise has to move forward with. He is a franchise player in the purest form of the term. To even consider sending him on in order to pick up a mediocre talent that looked good in a well oiled system like Cassel borders on ridiculous. However, Cutler was outspoken about losing Shanahan and Bates and this looks more like young Coach McDaniels has something to prove and wants to clear the house and show who the new boss is. How better than remove the leader of the team on the field and replace him with his own man and buddy from New England. Young Coach McDaniels should remember though that Mr. Bowlen is the real boss and the NFL makes money through its fan base. Fan base means not tossing out franchise players because a young head coach has something to prove. Dan Reeves can remember where his issues with John Elway got him.
