as a lifelong(48yrs) season ticket holder and fan I have a ? about Pat Bowlen. It has always been a tradition (for as long as I can Remember) and one I thought was very important to the team and the fans. Mr. Bowlen especially at home games always game down to the sideline with about five minutes left in the game, I've noticed this year a lack of Mr. Bowlen anywhere, I couldn't see him in the owners' box the last two home games, they never showed him at any of the road games. My friends, seat mates and I were just wondering,is this a change only because he doesn't want to over shadow Josh (which I think would be hard to do) or as a friend suggested, is Mr Bowlen just slowly trying to work his way out as the Owner of the Broncos? I know with all the changes and heartaches before the season started would be hard on anyone, especially the owner. I however, think he is by far the best owner in the league, he appreciates and takes care of his fans, cares for his staff and provides great leadership and Voice to the players and the City of Denver! Let us concerned fans know and we hope all is well at home or his other businesses so we can see and here more from him.

I posted this on one of the other blogs:

The reason it’s taking so long to get our 1st rounders sign is because the agents are waiting to see what the earlier picks get.

Also the agency for Moreno, I know, is wating to get a deal done between Orakpo, Moreno, or Cushing because they want to get a good deal for one, so that it helps the other players in there agency to get a good deal… (Orakpo, Moreno, and Cushing all have the same agency according to NFL Network)

So it’s just a big waiting game…

Why have we STILL not signed Moreno and Ayers? It is starting to concern me! We need them at training camp so they can start performing and learning all the plays!

yea idk cuz the pats never really jumped out there and tried to get a first round Rb and look what happened, we got moreno. So it could happen. I thought it might be unrealistic for me to think that Kyle Orton was just going to have a break out season ike Kerry Collins last year plus i like Mccoy's arm.

This kind of talk makes me even more interested to see what the team is going to look like. I just hope we're not the Denver, Patriots and we find our own identity.

Yeah, McD is to qb's as Shanny is to rb's: Never a first rounder. Hopefully the former has the same success as the latter finding and developing hidden gems. I actually think Champ will lead the team in picks this year. New coaches, new schemes hopefully equals more to's for us. Plus, in man situations, Champ is usually lined up with the opponents #1 guy, so that's a plus. Gonna be an interesting year. I'm more excited now than I thought I'd be. It's all coming together and I can see us having a great year. Just get to the qb, baby!

The general consensus is correct IMO. No one does throw at Champ very much and when they do he more often times than not, makes them pay for it. Last couple of seasons not a lot of teams took chances throwing Champ's direction, instead they took advantage of over the middle, screens, and making Bly look bad on the other side of the field. This season teams are going to throw at Champ to like some have said "check his age". He'll still make them pay for it, he may not take it all the way back for 99 yd TD but he'll make them pay. I think Dawkins will have the most INT because our LB are going to knocking heads off and Dawkins will be there for the easy pic.
