I know that EFX will not be perfect and I know they inherited these three QB's. I'm referring more to media and how they're writing a story everyday. I just want to get back to football.

It looks like the dilimna is actually over as KO is the starter.

"So called" QB dilemna? Well, yeah after you publicly put Orton on the trade market and follow that up by making him your starter I guess you bring a QB dilemna on yourselves, no way to sugar coat that one rbf1 no matter how loyal anyone is to their team, no one said EFX was perfect and they are not.

Mello - congrats on the new addition to the family. Also on your move to the Pacific Northwest.
Things are good on my end. Just glad the lockout is over. Now reading about TT over at dp,nfl.com and espn just about everyday.
Seems like the media is just eating this so called QB dilemma up like hot pie out of the oven.....sheesh!

I give no respect to commentators like Lambardi, never have and never will. His flip/flop goes in line with exactly why players like Orton, tell it like it is and don't pander to whatever the fans want at any given moment. Smart move in my book, honestly it would swell to believe that fans are the driving force behind anything but ticket / merch sales in the NFL, but face it, we're not.

I'm sorry but that Lombardi article is a complete joke. Everything statement he made was based on assumptions that no one from outside the organization is qualified to make. How does he know that "no one in the organization wants to be burdened with the pick"? I think Bay had a more accurate analysis in that simply no one knows what's going to happen. It's sickening to watch all these experts act like they know what's going on inside our walls. I read an article from Bill Williamson on the espn blog where he said Tebow got pulled form the second team in practice after a fumbled snap. If he'd been to the practice or read our blog he would've seen each of the three quarterbacks only had on shot at that particular drill.
He doesn't know if anyone has a vested interest or not. I remember why I took a break from all this. Reading these guy's opinions on Tebow makes me sick to my stomach. I understand the possibility is there for anything to happen, but for these guys to make all these wild assumptions based only on the fact that Tebow is not the starter right this second is maddening to me. I'm done until after the game. And if it just so happens that Tebow has a bad game (which all QB's including Tom Brady and Peyton Manning inevitably do) I will be done indefinitely. Don't think I can handle the bs that will be flying around at that point.

Thanks Bay, appreciate it bro! I hope someone is keeping tabs on all these fakers who hate us know, because they will be the same ones trying to jump on our sack when we do return to winning ways. They did the same thing with the Saints, Jets, Chiefs, Raiders, etc. People always wanna be down with a winner, and then say I told you so when a team starts to win. I know I'm Broncos no matter what happens! Orange and Blue are the only colors that look good on me!!

The interesting thing about Lombardi is he basically was the only national media guy who stuck with what McD was doing here the last two years and gave us a chance in hell to win more than the three or 4 games a year others predicted we would win at the most, and that made him respected by most Bronco fans for anyone who has half a memory. And look what happened, McD made Lombardi look like a total fool just like the fans who liked him for liking what McD was doing, I not included, haha. And now, what a turn of event, he seemingly doesn't like us anymore, giving EFX crap about a lot of what they are doing like maybe he doesn't like Elway in that position of power and everybody now hates him, I think it's humoristic, seriously.

Hey guys. I said I was gonna wait until after the game to blog but I'm just too excited (maybe even a bit apprehensive) for things to get started. Bay I read your response to my novel and I want to say thanks. You and I are in in agreement that not having a guy to hang our hat is getting old. I know you said it doesn't have to be another John Elway(there can be only one), but I think it is high time for an elite QB. I also believe we have him on the squad already. I'm fine with him "developing" another year, maybe even two (God forbid) but if EFX never let's this guy get out there and game before trading him or losing him to a team that wants him in free agency it will be extremely sad. For me it would be worse than the Cutler and Hillis trades combined. To never let the kid get a shot and see if there's any magic would be the ultimate waste.

Now that that's out of the way, I am really excited to see our defense. I'm excited to see what Moreno and McGahee have in store for us. I know we haven't had much time to implement the new schemes, but Dallas is in the same boat we are so it should be interesting. Our preseason game one performance won't necessarily reflect the team we'll be by week 16, but it's gonna be great to have a chance to see the guys really playing. Has Bay made clear, it's evaluation time, baby!
