For the sake of my own sanity, I have no choice but to be optimistic. I'd literally lose my mind if I were pessimistic about every little (or big) bad thing that happened to this team. Now is the time for the rest to really give 110% and overcome adversity. This is where they can either show their weaknesses because we are without some key players OR they can man up, give it their all EVERY game and be the tough hard-hitting, TD machine making team I know they are. I swear if they let another 8-8 season happen and then blame it on this... they will get an earful... the wrath of Hurricane Ashley! These players have a tough situation here... its never easy, nothing worth winning is easy but I hope they are just as sick of settling for 8-8 seasons as I am that they actually try to do something about it. I'm beginning to wonder who's more dedicated to helping this team out... the fans or the players. Something has got to get these players motivated enough to stop letting all these bad things like injuries stall their ability to win games and play like a freakin' team! We finally got rid of all the sour pussess. We have a team full of guys now that are willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the team. And then the injury bug hits. This totally stinks. "Drama for your mamma," we really didn't need this right now. But, I agree with Elway 007. We still have a very good team. IMHO Maybe I'm just being optimistic. I still feel our Defense will be one of the best in the league. But now we need Moss or Ayers to step up to the plate and get after the QB. I pray that Doom gets better quick and that things aren't as serous as they seem. We are a long way from the start of the season, and this is exactly why McD created depth at all of the positions. Not only for competition, but for injuries.
