Jim: I can remember when Dean Griffing used to run into the stands and retrieve the footballs that made their way into the sparse crowds. A friend of mine and myself had season tickets in the South Stands for about $42/seat for the year.

The yellow jersey, brown pants with yellow and brown vertical striped socks home uniform most likely will be worn when Denver plays the Patriots during a Monday Night Football game while the road uniform consisting of a white jersey with brown pants and white and brown socks could be worn on the road against San Diego or Kansas City. I am thinking it will be against Kansas City.

The two options that definitely won't happen is San Diego wearing its road throwback in Denver. San Diego will be wearing those duds against Oakland in Week 1. Denver will not be wearing its road throwbacks at Oakland either as Oakland will be wearing their home throwbacks in Week 1 versus San Diego.

the jerseys are clean, but the pants and socks I dont know-it'll be cool to re-live those days of the team's history. hopefully they sell replicas for the public to buy.

Thanks for the good info, history is always interesting. The game was a lot different back then.

Texark-Fan: I wonder who ended up with the cutler 6 throwback jersey? I think it is a collectors item now. I am with you though, they should burn it at the end of the year, or better yet, at the begining of training camp. Mc D can douse it with gas and Orton can throw the match.

Great history lesson!
But I cant believe they would wear those uniforms again for any reason. I have come to dislike all the throw back uniforms because I feel like i just turned on a bad collage game.

Hey Broncos Faithful,
So much for that desert. You are right on Broncomaniac4life, if Cutler doesn't want to be here, let him go. It was going to be a struggle for him anyway, having to win back the team. Hopefully coach McDaniels can find a quarterback that will fit in his system and flourish with all the young talent on that side of the ball. I'm sure he will. Hopefully this all works out for the team, and Cutler ends up on a team that doesn't have nearly as much talent as the Broncos. It's what he deserves for not manning up and contacting the organization. Hey Jay, stop hiding behind your agent and say something already.
Go Broncos!
