Thank you, Jim!! I grew up with snow piled up to the eaves (Denver home), watching the Broncs lose endlessly in the 60′s…

I’ve moved around since, but somehow the Broncs own my heart… Maybe, even as a little kid in the 60′s I just knew our team was building from scratch!!

Yeah Baylin,Bowlen bought the Broncos at just the right time 1984….hum just when Elway came in.Been climbing uphill all the way for sure,but now it’s nice to be sitting near the top lookin’ down instead of up.LOL

Well I guess this is a good blog to post the latest Forbes ranking of NFL teams’ worth:

The latest ranks the Broncos as No. 8 among NFL teams with $250 million in 2009 revenue and 10th in franchise value at $1.049 billion.

Talk about from rags to riches, haha, Bowlen’s 1984 investment of 78 mil has nearly grown by a million!!! Now, if he sells he might not get that exact figure, by example Kroenke just bought the Rams for 750 mil, while Forbes had it listed at around 776 mil I believe, but still a good ballpark figure. You can find the listings of all the teams, Dallas #1, on the DP and if you are interested by the money end of it like I am, click on the Broncos in the rating list and it will send you to Forbes where you’ll find out more than I care to post here about the team’s financial situation.
